It's got a solid enough cast that I'll give it a shot. Plus, you know, a werewolf at some point, which is sadly underrepresented in modern monster movies.

Nothing about enemy AI? Nearly every other review I've come across mentions enemies that will basically stand dumbfounded until dead, especially dinging them from a mild distance with Cattie-Brie, even resuming conversations between arrow strikes.

@djdizzy Some was gameplay related. It would have gone a long way to have Ratchet and Rivet play a little differently. But I think mostly it was the story. It doesn't really go any interesting places after the set up, and I found myself ready for it to be over a few hours before it was. I found the last couple of levels and bosses to be a drag. I only needed a few cleanup trophies for the Plat and couldn't really be bothered. I found the movie tie in and A Crack in Time to be better paced. (I didn't care for Into the Nexus or All4One.)

I loved it at first, but it had worn pretty thin by the end. I settled on a 7 for the poll, but it hovers around an 8 for me.

@Olmaz Whether it affects Sony's bottom line or not, the representation and celebration is important. I honestly don't care if their main motivation is monetary.

I got E3 Enthusiast, and I hadn't paid any attention to it. That's how boring it was.

I'm hoping for a really engaging story above all. I rarely finish Tales games because they wear thin before the end.

@thefourfoldroot It's really not. You should give it a shot when it hits. The stealth sections, especially as the game goes on, are like puzzles to solve, with the rats being the game changer. It actually gets pretty intense.

I've been through it and was appropriately moved and grossed out. A PS5 version would be a fine Plus offering.

One of those features had best be folders.

I'll always have a place in my heart for Avatar not for myself, but for my Dad, who loved it and was really looking forward to the sequels. I'll look forward to some actual gameplay.

Ha, Avatar is the one thing I might have been interested in, and I left before they showed it.

I've really enjoyed the previous Holmes games, but I also picked them both up on the cheap. Will likely do the same for this one.

I'll absolutely play through a third time for some sweet sweet 60 fps and maybe ray tracing. Bring on the details!

It's actually had dedicated games in the past, but they were pretty mediocre. I had Hail to the King on PS1 and Regeneration on PS2. Happy to see Pablo and Kelly.

I'm in. I still go back to the first occasionally, and this one looks to be upping the game.

I'll definitely go through this again after the upgrade, but FFVII and Ratchet are already going to be eating up my precious RAM this week.

A View Askewniverse-set retro game is something I never knew I wanted. It's a shame it doesn't sound like the romp it could have been.

I picked up Savage Halloween for 50 cents. It's not bad, just a pain in the ass. I couldn't even come close ti beating the first boss. There may be a lot of shovelware in the indie sale, but there are also some true gems. I'd recommend Wintermoor Tactics Club to anyone who likes grid based combat, it's absolutely charming.

@djlard Freedom Force was fantastic! I love Marvel, so I'm excited for this, but a Freedom Force follow-up would be almost as cool.

Man, not only do the models look better, but they move more realistically. No more Ken and Barbie conversations. Getting hyped!

Sweet! I think I can tear myself away from Mass Effect for 30 minutes for this.

HZD was one of the most polished open world games I've had the pleasure to play. As far as the story goes, it had some fantastic setup and world building, but the plot itself was a little slow, and much of the voice acting was flat. I love the world and Aloy is a great protag, so I'm really looking forward to a follow-up.

Eh, another miss for me. I own Squadrons, Operation Tango is multiplayer with a required mic so that's a no, and zero interest in Virtua Fighter. At least I have Ratchet and FFVIIReI this month.

They had me at the hilariously dumb title and "Dark Pinocchio", but lost me at a Souls-like.

I loved the original on Xbox, but tried out the PS2 port on PS4 last year and it felt rough and janky as hell. I may give it another shot before the sequel drops.

Mostly Mass Effect, but also finishing up a random second playthrough of South Park: The Fractured But Whole. I may also do a little Ghostbusters campaign work in Planet Coaster.

I'm heading out to Best Buy first thing in the morning whether they've got my pre-order ready or not. I've been through four or five Shepards already over the years, and I'm stoked for this.

Sigh. I sort of feel like I'm missing out, but I also know I wouldn't enjoy this. Bullet hell constant frantic dodging and rogue progress resets are absolutely not my cup of tea. Perhaps I'll just seek out some YouTube playthroughs.

I almost exclusively buy digital now. The only exceptions are new releases that I want to try but am unsure of (like someone above, I bought Outriders physical, played it for a couple of weeks, and sold it). But generally I wait for a decent sale on digital games that I'm interested in. Less physical space taken on shelves, no swapping discs, no handling of discs by my 11 year old.

Ok, that's pretty awesome. I dropped off the campaign as I moved into the Hard scenarios and focused on other games, but this will totally bring me back.

It looks well made, but the bullet hell aspect makes it a no for me, after already being iffy on it being a roguelike.

My personal GOTYs were Tsushima, FFVIIRe and Miles Morales, so I'm glad to see they all got a little love.

It has my curiosity, but I'll need to see some reviews before it has my attention.

This is an absolutely killer cast. Looks fun. I'm in.

This is Day One for me. These games hit me right where it matters, and I love them, warts and all.

I just started Tales of Vesperia Definitive after picking it up in the Spring Sale, and I'm really enjoying it so far. The Tales games are historically hit-or-miss with me, but this? This looks like it may be Day One.
