I liked the first one despite its many faults, but I wouldn't pay over $60 for a sequel. And just for these price announcements, I'll pay even less.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare It's not a Collector's Edition of the game, and they didn't call it as such. It's a Collector's Box of collectibles, a separate item.

When someone starts with "I'm sorry there was a misunderstanding," I tune out the rest because it's just going to be BS. Just apologize, own it, and learn from it.

I'm really looking forward to it but it's also at least a year away, so I'm not going to give much thought to it until then.

It started off amazing for me, but after a while it felt like a chore to explore the areas and where the story ended up didn't really gel with me. But it's still extremely impressive for a debut game and there's a lot to love about it.

Survival, rogue cards, and FPS. This month couldn't be any less intended for me. Oh well, glad others are happy.

There are a couple of posts here that sound suspiciously like bots. Anyway, I could do without this. I played the original years ago and while it was fun I don't have any desire to go back to it. Happy for others that haven't experienced it, but I'll hope for something else.

It was an 8 and sometimes 9 for me until I got to Sukhothai. I'm forcing myself to finish it now. I hate the puzzles and traversal there. I just kind of want it to be over.

@EchoRange It does also have customizable characters and permadeath, even for the leads.

At work today but managed to squeeze in the first hour over lunch. Any worries about the first person view were vanquished after the opening. I wasn't watching Indy, I WAS Indy. Good stuff so far and looking forward to a deep dive this weekend.

@crossbit He was a pirate introduced in The Clone Wars and also featured in Rebels. He also features on the Smuggler's Run ride at Galaxy's Edge.

Fantastic game. My son and I are having a great time.

I'm good with a shorter experience if that's the case. I don't have time for every RPG to be a 50-100 hour experience.

Possibly dumb question, and maybe it was even mentioned and I missed it, but does this require headset communication to play online?

@rusty82 I really enjoyed Lost Records except for the last 10 minutes or so. I'm really hoping the second part delivers. The recording and editing aspect was pretty great and I really like Swann and Nora.

@iDreamwalker I think Veilguard is leaps and bounds ahead of Inquisition. You should give it a fair shot and decide for yourself.

Holy cats. I mean, I've already played through Veilguard and probably won't do a second round, but that's big. I'll also happily take TMNT and Sonic.

I loved my Steam Deck and wish I hadn't sold it (I needed the cash at the time). I had a fantastic, diverse library of decently priced games. I'll definitely pick up another sometime, or maybe an SD2 if they actually release it in the next decade.

@nessisonett Or at least go back and refine or edit it. Maybe not all the effort, maybe just a little effort, Activision.

I'm still sore about Toy Story 3 being the PSP version rather than the fantastic PS3 release. I wonder which way they'll go here.

I hate Funko Pops, but I wanted to give the game a shot because it included a lot of properties I love. It was truly abysmal. Absolutely one of the most tedious games I've ever experienced. It's mind-blowing that someone during development didn't recognize how unenjoyable it was to play.

@TrannosaurusBex Personally I thought Survivor's gameplay was streets ahead but Fallen Order's story was better. They're both great though.

Too little too late. I'll take just about any other DC hero at this point (Green Arrow? Swamp Thing? Detective Chimp?), or as mentioned upthread, an Origins remaster.

Sounds like a well made and well thought out experience, but I'm not here for that kind of difficulty. Should be a hit for many though.

I have zero interest in Payday. I gave the first couple of levels of RePac a shot and found it flat and boring. The first 30 minutes of High On Life were entertaining enough, so I guess I'll see where that goes. It's time for Plus to have an absolute banger month because it's been a while.

Yeah, this looks fun and you can pick it up for $45 with a PS Plus discount. I'm in.

I really enjoyed the game and wish it had done better. Yeah, it wasn't as in-depth as Origins and Rook came across as fairly bland, but it was a good story at just the right length and had solid combat and a likeable cast.

My all-time favorite director and one of my favorite humans in general. I was selfishly hoping he would pull it together enough to complete one more project, but I am so glad for what he's left behind. A legacy of dreams and nightmares and imagination.

I put a little time into Suicide Squad today once it was up on PS Plus. I'm to the point where I'm supposed to go kill Green Lantern and I just can't care. It's so bland and repetitive, and there is zero joy in leveling or finding gear. Time to delete and give The Stanley Parable a go.

I just dove into New World Aeternum a couple of days ago, so I'll keep chugging along on that, whilst periodically dipping my toes into Infinity Nikki for more chill time. I'm also considering picking up Alan Wake II and RoboCop: Rogue City (which I'm about halfway through from a previous rental) from the current sale.

@MarkCernysLoveEgg SPOILERS FOR A MOVIE OVER 4 DECADES OLD!...The ending was pretty ambiguous to the point that Childs or MacReady himself could be an imposter. The uncertainty was the point.

@rjejr That's a little disingenuous. I spent a little over 20 hours and didn't actually 100% Astro Bot. I also haven't played any of the newer challenge or update levels.

@nessisonett It's extra wild and disappointing as both True Colors and especially Double Exposure are very diverse and queer-friendly.

@Perturbator This is exactly the reason. If you like the characters it's tough to pass it up for 5 bucks even when it's a kind of boring trainwreck. I almost picked it up for $13 on PS5 but just couldn't pull the trigger.

I ran through a couple of quick matches last night as Squirrel Girl and had fun. I don't know if it's anything I'll stick with long term, but I'll definitely drop in a bit here at the start.

Solid game that got better and more engaging as it went on. As far as the character creation goes, I made one of the best looking avatars I'd ever managed.

I'm hoping this carries the DNA of the earlier Life is Strange entries. As far as Deck Nine taking over that series goes, I really liked True Colors but thought Double Exposure was only okay. And I won't be playing this until both parts are out.

@danzoEX Chained Echoes was totally slept on. It was one of the best traditional RPGs I'd played in a very long time. I played it right around the same time as FFXVI and it blew it away in terms of story, characters and charm.

I have a launch day PS5. If it ever starts to give up the ghost I'll pick up a Pro. Otherwise I see no reason not to just wait for PS6.
