I don't want AI replacing artists or writers, but I don't mind it being used as a tool.

I want to love it, but don't. It looks and sounds great with a unique setting and story, but I don't enjoy the combat or exploration at all.

That's really a shame. They always had the passion but never had the backing.

Okay, we've got Rugrats and Ren and Stimpy now, but what about a Batman or Lord of the Rings collection?

@Jackthelad93 That's when money is allocated, they want to make sure they get preorder bonuses, they feel like it, etc.

I've watched a few gameplay videos, and the bugs and jank honestly make it look more entertaining, in a deep sale kind of way.

Owlcat's previous CRPGs tended to be a little overdesigned for my tastes, but I love The Expanse and this looks fantastic.

I love Invincible and really want this game to be good. I'm looking forward to the open beta. As for variant covers, I think it's kind of cool. It's not like people are really going to be tempted to collect all of them, it just gives you a choice and is a nod to its comic roots.

This is absolutely my next play and I'm looking forward to it. I'm just finishing up Avowed first and, while I've enjoyed it, I'm ready for some innovation.

I'm not into Soulslikes and Sword Art games are historically not great. I guess I'll give the TR remasters a try.

Sounds like a massive amount of mismanagement. Seven years and four engines on a single project is wild. The writing had to have been on the wall.

How about some remasters or retro collections while we wait?

@Yousef- I've enjoyed every LiS game to some extent, including Double Exposure. But returning to Max and Chloe gives me pause. I'd rather explore new characters, like with 2 (which was pretty good) and True Colors (which I loved).

@SodaPop6548 Same. Symphony of the Night is still one of my all time favorites and no other Castlevania has grabbed me the same way. I know this is unlikely to hit those highs but I'm excited to try.

The only 2 games I would be interested in I already own. Decent stuff for others though I guess.

I enjoyed the first one okay, but I never want to hear the fictional native language again. Absolutely grating.

Went from mild excitement at rumors to utter disinterest at the reality.

It will either never see the light of day, or it will be on par with VTM Bloodlines 2.

Okay, so that's a bad month. Golf, an outdated MH, an ancient MMO. Happy for anyone excited about this group, but there is nothing here for me.

I'm a sucker for space fantasy so I'll play it eventually, but they're not exactly selling it. I'll wait for a deep sale or maybe PS Plus.

The statements on difficulty and genre have completely put me off it after being skeptical to begin with.

@JohntheRaptor The way I play games shouldn't affect you in any way whatsoever. I'm not stagnant and my challenges come from real life. I go to games to relax and escape those challenges. If you need video games to feel a sense of accomplishment, that says more about you than me.

And I'm out. I play games for the escapism, not the challenge. But that's just me.

@dskatter Larian has stated they have no interest in BG4 or working in that world again. They want to do original ideas.

But if my snarky, aloof but good-hearted, pansexual bard isn't the lead character, then what's even the point?

Is there any diversity in the music or is it the same two themes over and over and nauseum? This has been the death of previous DQ games for me. I absolutely cannot take that battle theme any more.

@Scottyy Early access helps it BE ready. Baldur's Gate 3 wouldn't be the masterpiece it was without the time it spent in early access.

I played it for probably 15 to 20 hours. It was okay, but pretty boring by that point. I regretted paying full price. But I am a little surprised to see it shutting down.

People of Note for me, but there are several that look intriguing.

Infinite Wealth is really, really great. I'll give A Quiet Place a run just for laughs. I'd like to try Village, but I haven't played Biohazard because I'm a coward with horror games.

13 is one of two mainline Final Fantasy games I never completed, the other being 8. I never played the sequels. Even as a big FF fan, I can't see myself going back to this.

I honestly had a lot of dumb fun with Knowledge, or Know Lady, so I'll be checking this one out too.

Nothing for me unfortunately. The only one I would have been a interested in is Mickey, but I already tried it and got bored with it after a couple of hours.

Strike one for me.
