My experience is if an employer requires no cause to fire you, that's exactly what they'll do, fire you with no cause given. Firing with cause, like leaking information, puts the onus on the employer in a lawsuit.
If they are making that accusation up, then it will end poorly for them. Can't imagine their attorney's are that dumb, but guess we'll find out, eventually.
Have any of the employees saying they were wrongfully terminated because of union busting filed a lawsuit? If not, why not?
@dskatter Got the opposite problem. I have myopia (nearsighted) so can't see TV, even a few feet away, if I can't find my glasses. With portables I can go glasses free, and basically have to.
@naruball I'd factory reset, if that's possible. I can connect to mine in flaky WiFi in an RV while camping. If yours isn't connecting, I'd reset it. Also, verify there's nothing on your home network stopping it. The Portal is designed to be as user friendly as possible connecting.
I still get stuck briefly in faceoffs I win. My sword is up and no buttons work for a few seconds, probably some perk or charm but I haven't figured it out. Oh well, still a dang good tine
@Nnfyrbsnss What's a flop? Ghost of Yotei? You have to be trolling. I have Mario Kart World and I really don't see the hype, I'm curious if they are counting bundles? Which is how I obtained it.
The pretty much lost COVID years, makes a new gen seem too soon. I'm not knocking it, but if you compare the PS4 games to the PS5, there is no comparison. If you tell me there is going to a large amount of Sony titles between now and 2027, fine, but I don't really see them even talking about much, so it would have to be some surprise drops in there. I don't know if they are they great at keeping secrets. Nintendo is, until they get hacked.
I feel like Microsoft mus have hired the displaced Jaguar and Anheuser ad execs. This seems to almost intentional, on their part by now, to just destroy their game division. Console not selling well? raise the price. Subscription service selling too well, raise the price
I think people are reaching to make any dent they can in the success of these games. The samey stories are basically the core of almost all great story telling from Shakespeare to religious texts, these are the foundations of a lot of historical stories. There's a reason they are so popular or well known.
@bluemage1989 Meh, I think renewing an expensive music license for a game they are no longer making money on, would be more insane. Only caveat is they should have explained that clearly to the OG purchasers, but it also still works for them, if you read the article, so I think there is little to be angry about here, but in 2025 that probably doesn't stop people. Reading is fundamental.
I get the sentiment on smoke and mirrors, until we see more and I'm not a gambling man, but if I was, I'd never bet against Kojima delivering what he says. The fact they are behind this has me more excited than anything they could show us in advance. Bring it on.
I can't think of too many games I've seen advertised or revealed longer than this one has been. Hope that has paid off in development and their own testing.
Trails in the Sky. Been waiting on this one since it was announced. This should take me all the way to Ghost of Yotei release. Which will probably get review bombed, for reasons best not discussed here, but I'll be definitely picking it up.
The fact they waited until the very last second to give reviewers access to the PS5 version, was the first red flag. Randy, himself, has provided the other 50 red flags. I'm good. I'll just pickup to Trails in the Sky and Ghost of Yotei, after that.
Have fun beta testing this game for them.
Maybe I'll pick it up in the bargain bin a year from now, or wait until I have a 6090 video card to play it on PC.
Math isn't mathing: Method Two, however, takes advantage of a discounted Wallet Top Up. Here, we grabbed an £80 voucher from a retailer, which was discounted at £69.85. We added these funds to our account and paid for the game that way, meaning we only paid £69.85, but now have a copy of the game and an extra £0.01 (hooray!) in our account for next time.
@nyr2k2 They are fun at first, if you like RPGs. To me, they get repetitive real fast. They are basically never-ending, which would be like reading a book without an end. I do get the appeal, especially if you are either really hurting for money, given it's F2P, or filthy rich and want to buy everything in it. There are obviously better games you actually pay for, but the gacha mechanic is controversial for a reason.

Re: Physint, OD Teams Are Staffing Up for Development of Anticipated Games
@Leinad7 Not sure if Xbox is a good play for them, considering where it's at in market share. Maybe it's for the next gen Xbox?
Re: Physint, OD Teams Are Staffing Up for Development of Anticipated Games
Dang, I thought both of these games were further along than this

Re: The Outer Worlds 2 (PS5) - Mechanically Fantastic RPG Struggles to Be Memorable
@EfYI Sounds like they made the sequel to be SSDD. All that "we listened" turned out to be malarkey. Probably way to Western influenced.
Re: The Outer Worlds 2 (PS5) - Mechanically Fantastic RPG Struggles to Be Memorable
@Nintendo4Sonic I don't think I've played a single one of their games this year, nor do I feel like I missed out on something.
Re: The Outer Worlds 2 (PS5) - Mechanically Fantastic RPG Struggles to Be Memorable
Which was exactly the same problem with the first. I guess they didn't really listen, like they said they did.
