Playing a very-very-very Nintendo like game through Steam, is kind of jarring. This game is very good. I'm not even a huge fan of these type of games, got bored 200 hours into 100 Line Defense Academy and thought I'd give this one a shot. That is a very long game and reminds me of CYOA books I read as a child.
@Bunchesopuppies Yes, this is a game site; so, obviously that matters. There's another site that dabbles into everything, and Isn't Great at aNy of it. This isn't it.
I 100% agree with everything you said, but I think just like AI, we will all be all "old men yelling at clouds". It's coming, we don't like it, but it's just going to get worse from here. (PC discs died decades ago, for more obvious reasons)
I think if the game industry wants to up prices then it should offset with more content. I know that isn't everyone's cuppa, but I am not paying $80 for a game that averages 20 hours to completion
The only seamstress working overtime is that communication director. Whoever it is, maybe Nintendo could learn something besides "Let the (peasants) eat cake" or just buy a Switch 1.
Expedition 33. Sort has that "if Stellar Blade was a turn based RPG" feel to it. Loving it but it also has that jank of smaller studio game. Don't get me wrong, probably will be a contender for GOTY, at least in RPG category, or my GOTY, but you can see some QA issues when you play it long enough.
Seriously hyped for this game and loved the first one. This one looks just as gorgeous. (I also feel like someone left the back door open with the people complaining about Ghost of Tsushima. We really need to get a lock for that thing.)
I am a complete sucker for anime cutscenes in games. Pretty sure this is one of the series that did that to me. Remember sitting in the food court in the 90s eating Chinese food and opening the shrink wrapper on this baby. Haven't been in a mall in decades but stuff like this brings back that nostalgia.
Look forward to playing it one day, certainly not a day one for me. (Figured this would be the comment section that reduces the user count on here to sub 100)

Just set a future date and let it go.

Didn't even bother to use different fonts. LOL
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Tops 5 Million Players, Performs 'In Line with Expectations'
I'd like to just say... this article is well written.
Re: Feature: Top 20 PS5 Games of 2025 So Far
@Jrs1
For me, they beat COD 29 are whatever number they are on. Pretty good game and the mechanics of the turn based seem secondary to the rest of it
Re: Round Up: What Was Announced at Summer Game Fest 2025?
I'll take RE and Yakuza. Nothing else for me, thanks.
Re: Stellar Blade Dev Massively Upgrades 3D Scanning Tech Ahead of Sequel
Thank god for Asia game developers.

Now I wouldn't buy it for $8

This isn't it.
Re: Blades of Fire (PS5) - Steely Action with Blunt Art and Storytelling
@LikelySatan There is absolutely no question. Expedition 33 is the beginning of AAA or AAAA franchise. Zero doubt in my mind
Re: The Precinct (PS5) - GTA-Style Sandbox Is a Dynamic, Addictive Cop Movie Homage
@Bamila I mean, a top down game running at 120FPS sounds just as ridiculous.
Re: Ghost of Yotei Dev: As Americans, We Knew How Ignorant We Were of Japanese Culture
Ubisoft should take notes...
Re: Expedition 33 Dev to Turn the Game's Best Character into a Plushie
Will it hold wine? If not, I'm out.

Excuse me why I go hand crank my Model T.
Re: Could Borderlands 4 Be an $80 PS5 Game? It 'Might' Be
I haven't paid full price for that game since the first one.

Re: Infinity Nikki's Biggest Ever PS5 Update Prompts a Grovelling Apology, Free Compensation
For anyone who is old enough, this game is like the paper dolls where you clip on the clothes. Okay, maybe nobody but me is that old. sigh
Re: Infinity Nikki's Biggest Ever PS5 Update Prompts a Grovelling Apology, Free Compensation
@MidnightDragonDX Nintendo: If you don't like it, or can't afford it, well just downgrade then.

Don't know what either of these games are, too busy playing Clair Obscur

Re: Site News: Where's Our Days Gone Remastered PS5 Review?
@Dampsponge They would be reviewing the new paint and performance not really the gameplay

@Art_Vandelay Yeah, not even sure how this is an article.

Consumers are against paying more money for a product. News at 11
Re: Best PS5, PS4 Games Like Mario Kart
I have a PS5 Pro and an OG Switch... none of these games come close to Mario Kart. Go home, you're drunk.

Apples and bananas. This is like comparing a good pair of sneakers to snow skis.
Re: The Last of Us Showrunner Isn't Concerned About Bella Ramsey's Ellie Looking Too Young in Season 2
@Nepp67 How dare you have your own opinions. Imagine if this was a male character? Absolutely nobody would care what you said about their looks.
Re: The Last of Us Showrunner Isn't Concerned About Bella Ramsey's Ellie Looking Too Young in Season 2
Wasn't even concerned with finding someone who looked the part, why would he care if she looks too old?
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Gets Positive Reviews In Japan as Bayonetta Director Speaks Out
@AhmadSumadi That pretty much describes all Ubisoft games
Re: PS5 Open World Crimson Desert Shows Off Its Insane Game Engine in New Videos
Been waiting on "next gen" for 3 generations now.
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Seemingly Claims Second Biggest Launch in Series History
@AhmadSumadi Pretty sure that ship sailed when they posted this article and used the words "seemingly" like they didn't even believe Ubisoft.
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Seemingly Claims Second Biggest Launch in Series History
Uh-huh....sure. I believe you.
Re: Atomfall (PS5) - British Charm Elevates Riveting Mystery
@Decimateh-xblz I read that whole comment in a Jamaican accent

All that video did was make me more hungry for Ghost of Yotei
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows (PS5) - Striking Open World RPG Is a Real Cut Above
@Oram77 Really Metacritic has it scored a lot lower, with no user reviews yet, obviously.
