It looks like actress Merle Dandridge will be part of the cast for upcoming PS5 exclusive, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
The star – best known by PlayStation fans for portraying Marlene in both The Last of Us game and its television adaptation – was photographed by Naughty Dog boss Neil Druckmann in a motion capture suit.
He wrote the following caption to accompany the picture: “Merle Dandridge is a national intergalactic treasure.” Subtle as a brick.

This is poised to be a reunion of sorts, as we already know Troy Baker – who played Joel in The Last of Us – will also star in the game. There’s no word on which characters Baker or Dandridge will portray just yet.
However, we do know that Hollywood star Tati Gabrielle will assume the role of protagonist Jordan A. Mun, having previously featured in the Uncharted movie.
Rumour has it that this long anticipated PS5 title is on track for a 2027 launch, so we should learn lots more about it at some point in the coming months.
