I think if the game industry wants to up prices then it should offset with more content. I know that isn't everyone's cuppa, but I am not paying $80 for a game that averages 20 hours to completion
The only seamstress working overtime is that communication director. Whoever it is, maybe Nintendo could learn something besides "Let the (peasants) eat cake" or just buy a Switch 1.
Expedition 33. Sort has that "if Stellar Blade was a turn based RPG" feel to it. Loving it but it also has that jank of smaller studio game. Don't get me wrong, probably will be a contender for GOTY, at least in RPG category, or my GOTY, but you can see some QA issues when you play it long enough.
Seriously hyped for this game and loved the first one. This one looks just as gorgeous. (I also feel like someone left the back door open with the people complaining about Ghost of Tsushima. We really need to get a lock for that thing.)
I am a complete sucker for anime cutscenes in games. Pretty sure this is one of the series that did that to me. Remember sitting in the food court in the 90s eating Chinese food and opening the shrink wrapper on this baby. Haven't been in a mall in decades but stuff like this brings back that nostalgia.
Look forward to playing it one day, certainly not a day one for me. (Figured this would be the comment section that reduces the user count on here to sub 100)
Was really late to the game. Started with Infinite Wealth and went back and played (almost) most of the series. I'm not going to miss this one but the current MSRP/playtime makes kind of want to wait for a bit of a sale.
I'm an explorer, and apparently a slow one at that. When I see average time to game completion even 100%, I usually wind up doubling or tripling that. I think I just like exploring every nook and cranny, especially at AAA+ prices. I definitely get my money's worth
I can remember during the Wii U days when I thought Nintendo might have to go the SEGA route. It's possible Microsoft does, after all software is their main business, but just as possible they turn around and make the next big console. I personally think they took a wrong turn just in the naming conventions, it took some level of knowledge to even know what the latest Xbox was, and if it was that hard to figure out, imagine a casual gamer or parent. (Another similar Wii U moment.) If they try again, I recommend just ditching the Xbox moniker.
I might catch some flak for this, but I'm starting to put a lot more trust into Asian influence in gaming, than Western. I feel like the East still gets gamers and I have absolutely no idea what is going on there in boardrooms in the Western hemisphere. This isn't new, I've always been a huge JRPG fan but the chasm between the two different approaches, seems to grow every year and not in a good direction. Indies are another story, but big corp has lost it's way.
My feelings about hearing a live service game being announced is the same as my feelings about hearing that one got cancelled. Indifferent, other than the people attached to the project, I don't really care.

Re: Infinity Nikki's Biggest Ever PS5 Update Prompts a Grovelling Apology, Free Compensation
For anyone who is old enough, this game is like the paper dolls where you clip on the clothes. Okay, maybe nobody but me is that old. sigh
Re: Infinity Nikki's Biggest Ever PS5 Update Prompts a Grovelling Apology, Free Compensation
@MidnightDragonDX Nintendo: If you don't like it, or can't afford it, well just downgrade then.

Re: Site News: Where's Our Days Gone Remastered PS5 Review?
@Dampsponge They would be reviewing the new paint and performance not really the gameplay

@Art_Vandelay Yeah, not even sure how this is an article.

Consumers are against paying more money for a product. News at 11

I have a PS5 Pro and an OG Switch... none of these games come close to Mario Kart. Go home, you're drunk.

@Nepp67 How dare you have your own opinions. Imagine if this was a male character? Absolutely nobody would care what you said about their looks.
Re: The Last of Us Showrunner Isn't Concerned About Bella Ramsey's Ellie Looking Too Young in Season 2
Wasn't even concerned with finding someone who looked the part, why would he care if she looks too old?

@AhmadSumadi That pretty much describes all Ubisoft games

@AhmadSumadi Pretty sure that ship sailed when they posted this article and used the words "seemingly" like they didn't even believe Ubisoft.

Uh-huh....sure. I believe you.

@Oram77 Really Metacritic has it scored a lot lower, with no user reviews yet, obviously.

@B0udoir Not every game has to be souls-like to be enjoyable. Was this series ever difficult?
"Journey before destination."
Re: Monster Hunter Wilds (PS5) - A Timeless Formula Refined to Near Perfection
Their naming convention for their games reminds me of Microsoft's for Xbox consoles. I tried to keep up and then decided I just didn't care.
