If you're looking forward to 007 First Light when it arrives at the end of May, be careful, as you may need to dodge some major spoilers in the meantime.
According to a new report from VGC, over an hour of gameplay footage from IO Interactive's James Bond action adventure game has leaked online.
Apparently, this comes from the Indonesian games rating board, IGRS; somebody discovered the organisation's website had some severe security issues, leaving privately submitted details publicly available.
This includes footage of games submitted for the purpose of age classification, and worse, thousands of game developer email addresses.
VGC claims to have verified that the footage is circulating online, and that it contains significant spoilers, apparently including what may be the game's ending.
This leak doesn't just concern 007 First Light either, with footage of Echoes of Aincrad from Bandai Namco also emerging online.
The report says the Assassin's Creed: Black Flag remake and Castlevania: Belmont's Curse are also part of the leak, though no footage has been found.
We've attempted to track down the offending videos and have yet to come across them, so it's possible that they've since been removed. However, if this stuff found its way into public hands, it's likely it may be mirrored somewhere, so watch out for that.
We'll keep you updated on the situation should new details come to light.

From Indonesia, with love. For everyone's eyes only.
Spolier: He doesn't die as he needs to star in a lot of films...
People really need to find better ***** to do with their time.
@Rich33 don’t forget novels as well
Johnny English would never be caught with his pants down like this.
Spoiler - Bond kills the villain at the end (probably a former mentor) with a quip following his death. He then shags the girl. The end.
@AnginaPectoris @Rich33 Y'all might be surprised by the From Russia, With Love novel ending...
@wildcat_kickz that darned Klebb! I also read that the ending in the novel is kind of ambiguous, maybe it segues into You Only Live Twice?
I have a career, partner, housework and other things going on in my life.
Those who apparently have nothing going on in their life, have already completed games by 5pm on launch day, and get pleasure from posting spoilers online before I've even gotten in from the office and taken my tie off.
Therefore as I always say, leaks such as this make no difference to me, because I'd never complete a game before spoilers are out there anyway.
The sweet irony is that the people this does affect, are the very same sociopaths who apparently don't have jobs and get pleasure from spoiling it for everyone else on launch day.
@AnginaPectoris They address it in Dr. No, which was the next one up. Obviously, he doesn't actually die, but Fleming does leave it on a cliffhanger in FRwL, which I thought was pretty cool.
Spoilers for a 70 year old book 😂
