Re: Talking Point: PS6 In 2027 - How Do You Feel About Sony's Next-Gen Console?

tselliot

The pretty much lost COVID years, makes a new gen seem too soon. I'm not knocking it, but if you compare the PS4 games to the PS5, there is no comparison. If you tell me there is going to a large amount of Sony titles between now and 2027, fine, but I don't really see them even talking about much, so it would have to be some surprise drops in there. I don't know if they are they great at keeping secrets. Nintendo is, until they get hacked.

@bluemage1989 Meh, I think renewing an expensive music license for a game they are no longer making money on, would be more insane. Only caveat is they should have explained that clearly to the OG purchasers, but it also still works for them, if you read the article, so I think there is little to be angry about here, but in 2025 that probably doesn't stop people.
Reading is fundamental.

Re: Is This the First Tease of Next-Gen PS6 Graphics?

I get the sentiment on smoke and mirrors, until we see more and I'm not a gambling man, but if I was, I'd never bet against Kojima delivering what he says. The fact they are behind this has me more excited than anything they could show us in advance. Bring it on.

Re: 'Quit Game and Restart': PS5 Pro Has the Worst Version of Borderlands 4

The fact they waited until the very last second to give reviewers access to the PS5 version, was the first red flag. Randy, himself, has provided the other 50 red flags. I'm good. I'll just pickup to Trails in the Sky and Ghost of Yotei, after that.
Have fun beta testing this game for them.
Maybe I'll pick it up in the bargain bin a year from now, or wait until I have a 6090 video card to play it on PC.

@nyr2k2 They are fun at first, if you like RPGs. To me, they get repetitive real fast. They are basically never-ending, which would be like reading a book without an end. I do get the appeal, especially if you are either really hurting for money, given it's F2P, or filthy rich and want to buy everything in it.
There are obviously better games you actually pay for, but the gacha mechanic is controversial for a reason.

FANTASY LIFE I THE GIRL WHO STEALS TIME

Playing a very-very-very Nintendo like game through Steam, is kind of jarring. This game is very good. I'm not even a huge fan of these type of games, got bored 200 hours into 100 Line Defense Academy and thought I'd give this one a shot. That is a very long game and reminds me of CYOA books I read as a child.
