I'm not sure why would we have another Balatro if this game has been out since March on PCs. I mean, we would kind of know that already but this is the first I'm hearing of it. Feels like a bit of a hard sell.
AI bubble may not burst but it will certainly deflate. The amount of god-like capital being poured into this means there will certainly be blood baths. AI will not die but it will definitely experience some growing pains. All of that memory and hardware being swallowed up by investors will eventually come to an end. Just hang in there.
I know it's my explore gameplay style but I've found most average game times for me to be triple the standard. Meaning this would be well over 100 hour game. Bring it on.
The RDR PS5 port will release in a box with inkjet printed cover and a 10 digit code written with crayon on 1 ply cardboard inside. Try not to get your copy wet for too long.
@PuppetMaster The industry is pushing this to be the norm. I don't like it either but I don't think we are going to stop it. CDs and DVDs are basically dead. Games were one of the last physical mediums, but even the discs and cartridges are just shells of the game. I'll be shocked if the next generation even includes physical media but nobody wants to be the first to lock that out completely.
I think there are two types of video game companies. Ones that will use AI and tell you they did and ones that will use AI and never tell you. To think they aren't going to use a technology to speed up gaming development, is ridiculous. I'm also not telling anyone how they should feel about that revelation, but I can assure you anyone saying that no AI was used in creating a game, is most likely lying.
I'm old enough to remember when blood in a video game was controversial. Well, those "pearl clutchers" from back then would totally faint watching this game.
So, was everyone else on vacation? Why review a game that is said to be difficult, if you don't care for difficult games? Would be like me reviewing a ballet performance.
That title is giving me a migraine, or a stroke. I know "Don't trade in 007 First Light for PS5" are words, but how they belong together in a sentence, I'm unsure.
Couldn't care less. I have a gaming PC, Switch 2, PS5 Pro. If it's available on one, I'm good. Not sure why anyone without a PS5 would even be responding to this. The only people who might care, are people who love mods.
Snooze fest. I tried to get into it several times. It just never hooked me in a way some games do where I can't wait to get back to playing it. The very definition of take it or leave it.
In an era where internet is being argued as a vital utility, this is here to stay in almost every platform you can think of. The train left the station on PC games a few generations ago. Nintendo is barely making physical games, unless you want to call a key card a physical game (you shouldn't). If anything, the fact key card games are still selling like hot cakes, probably just emboldened Sony to make this move. I can't imagine it being really about privacy, unless there is some rampant mainstream hack on the PS5 that I haven't heard of. Maybe it's pre-emptive move against that but I think it's just corporation mumbo jumbo.
