That would be amazing. Konami are not capable of making good games anymore and there aren't signs of that changing. Silent hill and MGS would be right at home under Sony's wing.

This would be good. I actually have Silent hills HD collection in my backlog and Silent hill 1 downloaded on my PS3.

I might play silent hill 1 next - I've been wondering what to play.

I've never played a Silent hill game so this is exciting.

I wouldn't class the GameStop near me as nice, it's certainly nicer than my local cex. That's not saying much.

One thing I can say in GameStop's favour is they can have good console trade in deals. I got my blue day's of play PS4 for €80 when I traded in a used PS4 console and 3 games that I was able to source dirt cheap in CEX. I also traded in my Xbox one with 3 games plus €100 for an X.

I can't speak for anywhere else, but GameStop in Ireland are way more expensive than any of the other options available like Smyth's and Argos or even Amazon. I'm physical as much as I can be and I never buy games from them. Why would I? I'm looking for the best price.

I'm finding it a bit annoying that DiRT Rally 2.0 Deluxe Content Pack 2.0 (Seasons 3 and 4) is €24.99 yet you can buy the year one season pass which includes seasons 1-4 for €19.99

I already purchased seasons 1&2 and I'm looking at buying 3&4 without being totally shafted.

I absolutely loved Icco on PS3 and completed it but surprisingly I didn't enjoy SOTC and stopped playing around the 8th or 9nt colossus.
I have the last guardian in my backlog and must give it a go.

Why would the PS4 be the only Playstation to not have a proper Gran turismo game? And only have one Gran turismo at that? I think there is a lot to suggest Gran turismo 7 will be a PS4 game. Plus PS5 will play PS4 games so everyone would be a winner.

Gran turismo is the kind of game that requires a large console install base, it'll take PS5 a while to achieve that and PS5 doesn't need Gran turismo to sell consoles at the early stages of its lifespan. I'm personally hoping it'll be a PS4 game for a number of reasons. I'm not getting a PS5 until the PS5 slim comes out and I reckon my Logitech g29 will not be compatible with the PS5 if history is anything to go by. I want it on PS4.

Playing and loving Shenmue 1. I think it absolutely amazing. I never played the original version on Dreamcast.

This is the best game I played in a while and what a time to discover it, with Shenmue 2 on the disc and Shenmue 3 in the shops.

When did Unisoft become the mouthpiece for Sony? They were doing the same with Nintendo in the past.

Did you ever noticed about Unisoft - they always make sure they have games ready for a new console when it is released. Games are so scarce people will buy almost anything and Unisoft will be there to capitalise. I'm starting to see a pattern with them.

I'm playing Shenmue 1 and to my surprise I really like it. I'm looking for a guy named Charlie, he wears a leather jacket and has a tattoo on his arm.

I also started playing Dirt 4. It's a lot better than I thought.

When Mario kart 8 released on Wii u Nintendo offered a free game download to anyone who purchased the game early. I chose the wonderful 101 as my free download. I still have my Wii u and to this day I still haven't played TW101 yet. I must give it a bash.

It won't be compatible with PS3 for the same reason PS3 wasn't suitable for PS4. PS3 is built around a custom Sony chip (I think).

They're not exclusives, they're 3rd party multi platform games that we're talking about. Google stadia is a complete disaster.

This gen I have an Xbox one X and a PS4 pro. I'm never buying an Xbox again.

Exclusives are what drives console sales. One exception though is Gran turismo 7. I hope it comes to PS4 because I won't be getting a PS5 for a few years and every Playstation generation has had 2 Gran turismo games.

I was in the same boat. I eventually forked out for the G29 because it works on PS3 as well as PS4.

I'm really hoping GT7 will be released on PS4 this year. I'm starting to think it might not happen.

For me the best games of the decade are
1) TLOU
2) Gran turismo 6
3) Mario galaxy 2
4) Pikmin 3
5) Resident evil 2 remake

I have yet to play Bloodborne, HZD, Days gone and lots of other games in my backlog that I can't rate yet.

Just got a pro, so this list is very useful. ✋ High 5

I've a pro but I don't have a 4k TV. The standard PS4 slim has HDR as well.

I done mine last night. No lag. I used to do it via the TV Bluetooth but you had a small bit of lag. It's much better this way.

I think it shows Sony's faith in the device. They are not thinking it's going to revolutionise gaming in the PS4. It's pretty expensive as well.

While at the time I loved RE4 I now find it extremely boring, it's very dated and overrated. For me RE2 on PS4 is the best followed by 7

The only souls type game I played is Bloodborne. I'm not digging the list so far. Need to up the anti for the next 8 games. The last of us has to be number 1. I also think Gran turismo 6 deserves to be high up the list and Dirt rally, Resident evil 2... Horizon zero dawn.

So far I'm finding the list pretty boring and a bit PC geeky

Hitman definitive edition and Yakuza 0. I find Yakuza tiresome sometimes but then the next time I play it I thoroughly enjoy it.

I'm obviously in the minority here. I found it underwhelming. It doesn't appeal to me at all.

As a famous games company once said "The name of the game is the games" and PS4 kicked a** in that department.

I'll tell you what I might buy. A switch box that just connects to the TV, no portability and bundled with a pro controller. I don't know if that could even work because some games may have touch screen elements.

Plus like you said F zero and wave race would be great. I still have them on GameCube.

I was a hardcore Nintendo fan for 20 years until the Switch came out. I feel Nintendo have abandoned people like me and I also think the Switch is a lot to be desired. When I seen the little sticks on it I thought "WTF". It only has 2 or 3 games worth having that are not on Wii u; Odyssey and Smash Bros and maybe the new Zelda. It's overpriced, has major issues with built quality. This is not the Nintendo I know. This isn't an attack on you it's how I feel.

I've an XB1X as well as a PS4 and now a PS4 pro as well. But if I had an XB1S like you I wouldn't be buying multi platform games for it since 99.9% of the time it gets the worst preforming version, due to it being underpowered.

I'm selling a brand new sealed PS3 console on Adverts.ie for €220. Still hasn't sold yet. I'm in Ireland if anyone is interested.

I had them all. I bought my ps1 a couple of months after release. 300 smackeroonies plus another 80 on games. I bought Wipeout and Ridge Racer. My dad drove me to Dublin to get it. They were hard to get for a while. After a year the lens dropped and it would only work if it was turned upside down.

The PS4 is my favourite console of all time followed by PS3. I could never take to the PS2 even to this day. I'd put the PS1 below the N64.

I kinda feel the same about psvr. I've never tried it but I did read about the wires. I can't help but feel that in a couple of generations, this generation of vr will be looked at the same way we look at PS1 technology. It'll be viewed as pretty basic.

This time round it was cheaper in Ireland than the UK. This black Friday I got a PS4 pro with Death stranding, the Division 2, and an extra dual shock 4 in Argos (I picked the sunset orange dual shock 4) for €325. Over the moon.

Switch is hitting it's stride and PS4 is on the turn. It's like racing Michael Schumacher in his forties.

We've had silver, gold, white, red spiderman and blue PS4 consoles. I have 2 blue "days of play" PS4 consoles.

It'll be down to games and Sony have way better IP's. M$ I think need to reinvent themselves completely and loose most of their boring IP's and replace them with brand new one's.

Sony and Nintendo will destroy them.

I have to agree with you there. Death standing does not feel like a Sony game. It's a Kojima game.

I'd rather it late than not finished. I've no problem with this at all.

I have to agree Sony's quality hit a new level with PS3 and it went through the roof with PS4. So many great exclusive and Uncharted 2 is one of the best and one I must re-play. I also loved "The lost legacy" I thought it was better than U4.

My favourite Playstation game has to be "The last of us" though. I never felt an emotional attachment like it before while playing a game. I'm also a big fan of the Killzone games, Everybody's golf, Gran turismo 5/6 and sport. I haven't played Horizon or Bloodborne yet but I have them in my backlog. It's a great time to be a gamer.
