We're happy to report that Ghost of Tsushima is looking pretty darn good. The highly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive got a new gameplay trailer at The Game Awards 2019, and it's easily our best look yet at the Sucker Punch action title.
But that's not all. As predicted right here in the Push Square office, the game's got a release window: Summer 2020. That means we're going to see The Last of Us: Part II and Ghost of Tsushima launch just months apart from one another, before the PlayStation 5 hits in holiday 2020. Crazy.

Pretty disappointing trailer, honestly. It's still gorgeous, of course, but the gameplay... eh. I'm not sold.
We'll see.
That ending montage was amazing, looks like it's a mix of The Witcher and Assassin's creed that's been presented like a classic samurai movie, what's not too love?
Man the graphics are amazing, put 4k & 60fps in there and I'll believe it if someone says this is a ps5 game
Amazing traiker.i knew it. a summer release date.my most anticipated game.introducing đź‘» the ghostface killah.word up son
Notice that no Only On Playstation label. Nice job Sony.
I think Ghost of Tsushima is probably going to satisfy people who have been demanding an Assassin's Creed game set in Japan.
Looks fantastic. Still need to see straight gameplay but they have my interest more than before, thats for sure!
@Odin1985x The trailer says Only on PlayStation though.
@OscarHTX It'll come with a complimentary fire extinguisher.
The environments in this game are gorgeous! At times, it's like I'm watching a Zhang Yimou movie.
2020 really is going to be a epic year. I think this looks amazing, hopefully it will have quite a minimalist hud.
Only on PlayStation.
As usual a playstation game steals this show, looks amazing.
@Odin1985x official box art says "Only On" https://twitter.com/PlayStation/status/1205336542560034816
It looks amazing. It looks like Sekiro, Shadow of Mordor, and a little AC have all been mixed into one with Sucker Punch's fantastic ability to put superpowers and climbing in a game. I'm gonna lose hours in it.
It's going to make my base ps4 fly round the room!! Looks awesome tho
Looks lovely and sounds lovely.
Am I the only one who hears The Force Theme when he takes his mask off around the 3 minute mark?
That's a gameplay trailer? I didn't see any gameplay.
I'm obviously in the minority here. I found it underwhelming. It doesn't appeal to me at all.
Ok, so 2019 wasn't the best year for gaming. We had a few good games, but nothing really special. (I was really disapointed with one or two and really suprised by one or two also..)
Next year, however, we have This game, The last of us 2, Cyberpunk , Mount and blade 2, Dying Light 2, The new Dragon age, Skull and Bones, Watchdogs, and the list goes on.. Aaaand the Playstation 5. SO, WHY ARE WE STILL IN 2019????
Has me excited! Looks like a beautiful world to explore!
That trailer is awesome. Still need to see more raw gameplay, but it has tons of promise. I'm in.
Yes, very pretty. Still no real gameplay. Still not sold. And I originally had such high hopes for this.
Eww English voices. I really hope the final game is Japanese VO and subs. Looks STUNNING
Very little actual game-play by the look of it and certainly not as impressive as the first trailer. Nice environments but I think this would have been better served as the first trailer as it seemed to introduce 'Ghost' where as the other actually seemed to show more game-play and more impressive looking visuals too....
@SaucyBrotato - It was confirmed last year to have full Japanese audio with subs. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-06-13-ghost-of-tsushima-will-have-japanese-audio-track
As for the trailer, underwhelmed. It looks pretty but until we get actual combat gameplay of current builds I'm staying on the fence, the combat we saw in the last reveal looked janky as hell, needs to be much more improved than it was to grab my attention.
@Shigurui Wonderful, thank you indeed for that information and link. I also agree with the need to see more actual gameplay. They've nailed the environments and looks, but that doth not maketh a good game.
It looks AMAZING It looks like a PS5 game to
