I bought this back in the day for my snes. At the time I had read a review which started it was "better than super mario kart". This got me super excited. I had to travel to Dublin by bus '30 miles away' to buy it. I paid £45 for the game, I don't know what the bus cost me 😊.
Sadly I discovered that it's not in the same league as Super Mario Kart 😢.

It's easy knowing where Sarah Bond gets her brief from! Good old Phil Spencer. Same bull, different day.

Exclusives are what drives the console games industry. It's the reason I have a PlayStation 5 and a Nintendo switch 2. I had all consoles last generation but this generation I've no time for Xbox and their lies.

Got mine a month after launch, along with Ridge racer and Wipeout. Overall I will admit I found the quality of games on the console to be really poor. I was all in on the N64 a couple of years later, it had better games.

The wrong there friend. £340 is for the digital version which is the same as it was at launch.

Hey this could be very interesting. I look forward to seeing what they produce. Swapping hitman for secret agent James bond could be a work of genius. It certainly wouldn't hurt game sales

From what I'm hearing, it's not PS4 pro levels. It's more like PS4 level. The PS4 is still an awesome machine, so that's not a bad level.

I'm playing "the evil within". It's the best game I've played in a long time. I bought it on PSN ages ago for €5 and I'm only playing it now. What a game.

It should only make a noise for about a minute at the beginning. Then it goes silent.

I understand digital sales are better than physical. Why then is the PS5 disc slim selling, I can only presume better than the digital version. I personally have bought a lot of digital games but they are usually old and on sale. I prefer physical. I suppose it's because I'm an older gamer from a different era.
I've had a suspicious that the lack of a drive with the pro, is more to do with manufacturing issues, than anything else, and we will see a pro with a disc drive later this year.
I got a pro and I was lucky enough to get a disc drive from Smyth's toys a couple of weeks ago. It didn't feel right without the disc drive. There were games I couldn't play. Now it's perfect.

It's amazing all the people who have "zero interest" in the PS5 pro, yet they are on every article and news story about it.

Bloodbourne sold approx 7.5 million, Horizon zero dawn sold approx 24 million. Like I said "Sales (doesn't always) = greatness"

I bought Killzone 2 on day one and it blew my mind. It is not a call of duty clone, it's something completely different. A sci-fi shooter. I also loved killzone 3. I played Shadow fall, it took a while to get going, but it got there. The visuals mixed with the music, make shadow fall an incredible experience on PS4.

The critic's slater it probably because it takes so long to get started. These guys are paid to write articles and reviews, half them talk a lot of waffle and know very little of what they are writing about.

As far as I'm concerned both horizon games are complete bore fests. Gorilla would be better served to put their effort into a new killzone game.

Horizon is dull imo. Killzone is great. They might be done with it but I certainly wasn't. A real pity.

I'm not buying that reason. Imo the reason is to keep costs down. A lot of people who are buying a pro probably have a slim also, so they could swap out the drive on that for the time being. Then later when they recover financially, they could buy the disc drive at a later date. It'll be difficult to play a lot of PS4 games on the pro without the disc drive.

I've ordered from Fanatec a couple of times and it takes about 2 weeks to arrive. The last time was earlier this year. If you make sure the item is in stock you'll have no issues. A lot of the bad press is not deserved. Fanatec have dragged SIM racing forward. I went from G29 to a GT DD pro 8nm and I've never looked back.

I'm not joking. I was struggling to complete Autopolis circuit experience this week. It took me over an hour to achieve gold on the full lap, and when I eventually did I was only inside by a couple of thousands of a second. Today I went back with the new physics and on my first lap I was nearly 2 seconds faster than the time I did a couple of days ago. I'm also 6th in the world in the top 10 stars on that circuit now. I won't be there for long though 😊.

I haven't played it since before the last update. I play on PS5 and if your TV has VRR it's silky smooth with it enabled.

I certainly hope it's releases this year. I think it could improve GT7 with 4k/120 and PSVR2 with 120fps rather than 60fps with frame insertion.

To me, the name 'Xbox' is wrong. I personally think it's the stupidest brand name ever.

It's like MS are gaslighting, changing reality. Now they have to revert to the reality that was always there.

Imagine Sony spending $200 million to develop a game and putting it on PS plus day one. How does that business model work? It doesn't...

Nobody buys currency in GT7. It's not like it's in your face at all, it's practically invisible. I try to get gold every week in the time trial challenge and that nets me 2 million credits, every week. There's also about another million up for grabs for completing the weekly 5 races.

I don't know how anyone could buy a FromSoftware game and expect to stroll through it. Even though I got stuck in DS3 and stopped playing because of the difficultly, I never thought for a minute there should be an easy mode. No way should there be an easy mode. I knew exactly what I was buying into.

No such thing as free here. Sony are charging €70 for a platform game. Nintendo can do them for €50.

I agree with everything you are saying except - the generation that gave us the greatest experiences, was PS4 not PS3. IMHO

I'd rather a game be released in a finished state, than released early. I'm in no hurry as I've enough games to do me till the end of time. I've only just started Tears of the kingdom. How long is that going to take me? I'm playing GT7 all the time as well. I just finished Sniper elite 4 that I picked up on PSN for €5. There's no shortage of games.
