I'm playing on Pro at the moment. I've just beaten Rom. Amazing game that has made me feel like giving up me at times when I can't get past a boss and brought me great joy exploring new areas.

It's not exactly broken on PS4 and plays marginally better on Pro, but 60fps would be nice. Best game on PS4 imo.

Probably a dumb question, but why are there 2 options to download it?

I had demon souls on PS3 but couldn't get into it. However I'm now playing bloodborne and loving it. I've also bought the dark souls trilogy because I love bloodborne so much. Demon souls is now firmly back on my radar when I eventually get a PS5.

Even though I have it physical and have still not played it l, I'll be downloading it. I think the next free game will be Killzone shadow fall. Just got a hunch. Or it could be some other exclusive that didn't do as well as it should have.

Not a chance is Demon's Souls Remake coming to PC. At least not until the PS6 is released and a couple of years on top of that as well. It'll never happen. You need to understand what Sony are doing.

When they can get no more form their exclusive games and they are no longer pushing the platform the games were designed for, then they are considering other options like PC. They will not be porting "system selling games" from a platform they are pushing over to other platforms. That would be insanity.

That's what I love about Sony in the games business. Can't see Nintendo ever doing something like this, too miserable.

December 2022 at the absolute earliest. Did anyone really think it would be any earlier. It could slip to 2024 it's such a monumental project. Anyway I think it'll be worth the wait.

Anyone scalping PS5 console's from day one have been taken down immediately. If there were PS5 for €700 they would sell though. Scalping is common on the site but they have taken a stand against PS5.

Just because GT6 went under your radar doesn't mean it is a bad game. GT5/6 improved the car physics massively over GT4. GT6 is a fantastic game way superior to GT4. You could say a lot about PD - but they strive for perfection and they certainly don't go backwards.

I don't think this will be released for another few years until PS5 starts hitting mass market saturation. It sounds like a dream come true and I just hope to play it someday.

Not a word about it. This problem will be gone in 6 to 9 months. Sony will have flooded the market by then, putting the scalper's out of business.

I don't know why people are blaming Sony. It's people who are paying over the odds that are to blame. Game is at fault here. I suppose with lockdown it has made the situation easier for scalper's to manipulate. Also people willing to pay extortionate prices are to blame. If they weren't there, there'd be no scalper's.

It took the game forever to get to a reasonable price. Now it's at a decent price I don't want it. I got the chance to try it out free on a months free game pass trial I had and genuinely thought it was rubbish. Highly overrated imo

I would say the reason gta5 is the best selling playstation is due to lockdown. Fair weather gamers.

I'm starting to think that the best time to buy a console is deep into its life cycle. That way games are plentiful and cheap. It's a great time to buy a PS4.

Not really since I don't intend to buy a PS5 until the slim is released. I'll be looking for a deal on a black friday in the future. Plus the Pro I bought online is the fifa 21 bundle edition which I have no interest in, so I will be selling the copy of FIFA straight away. I'm hoping to have delivery in less than a week.

I love the ps4 and I have a serious backlog of games to play on it. It's probably a bit silly buying a spare but if it makes me happy what the heck. I also have the 2018 slim blue "days of play" console which I use for undemanding games.

I just bought a spare Pro this week. I had 2 but sold one sealed a week ago for €400. Felt bad after selling it. I went online and bought another one for €360. Glad i bought it now. Is that scalping or just making a handy €40?

The difference between TLOU and TLOU 2 is graphic violence. 2 brings it to a different level but it works well.

I loved TLOU 2. I would summarize:. The games is a little uneven at times but when it hits the highs it's unsurpassed. It's also a little overlong. The graphics and gameplay are nothing short of brilliant. It is firmly in my games collection of games I will never sell.

Boost mode only works with games that have not been developed with features for the PS4 pro. Games older than 2017

That's exactly it. There was a big panic to get the game out on console for the new console releases. They needed another year.

This is a real mess created entirely by CD project. To me it looks like they are terrified of the gaming community turning against them. Apologies and groveling, it's embarrassing.

I've become a bit of a headphone addict in the last couple of years. I have a pair of Sony's wh1000xm2, wh1000xm3 and I've the whh910n. I'm looking at possibly getting the wh1000xm4 on black Friday 🤞

This is a feature on PS5 I'm very interested in. But I don't plan on buying a PS5 for at least 3 years. I'm waiting until there are more games and games which have come down in price.

I'm playing the Nathan drake collection on my PS4. I completed the first one on hard, now I'm on Uncharted 2. It's very good.

My PS4 pro makes different whirling noises, if the TV screen changes it'll make a different noise, an example would be; say I'm in a stationary car in "dirt rally" the console makes a whirling noise and if I change to the rear view the console makes a different whirling noise. It's weird but I never let it bother me. Only on my Pro, it doesn't happen on my slim.

In my opinion Dirt rally and Dirt rally 2.0 are the best driving games this generation. Better that Gran turismo and easily better than Forza. I think the reason you might never have heard of them might be due to you living in the US and maybe that's the problem Codemasters have, getting their games to the masses. Codemasters are an English developer and I suppose relatively small but they have a pedigree in racing games second to none. They are making rally games for over 25 years.

You don't know very much about gaming if you've never heard of Codemasters. Dirt 5 is certainly not their best work. Dirt 5 was developed by Codemasters Cheshire, a relatively new team with Codemasters.

Codemasters are responsible for the "Dirt rally" series which is regarded as the best rally driving games ever. The Dirt rally games are on a different level. They are developed by Codemasters. Plus Codemasters have been developing all the official formula one games for the last 10 years. And you never heard of them? They also developed the legendary Toca race driver games on PS2

And just when Codemasters were on the up with superb games like dirt rally series and the F1 games.

Not being funny but with a price tag of "only" £740 million Sony or even MS should buy them and keep them multiple plat. I think this is very bad news personally.

Looks to me like some people are expecting a PS4 super pro. Prepare to be disappointed. Sony will focus on the future, not the past and that's the right thing to do.

Storage will be a major issue next gen it seems. It is good that PS4 games can be stored on an external HDD. PS5 for me is about what it'll bring in the future. In seven years time we'll probably not recognise this original review because the console will have evolved so much.

I personally think 3D audio is something to be very excited about. You need to be wearing headphones I presume. Noise's coming from all directions, scare the life out of you playing a game like RE village. The haptic triggers will hopefully bring it to the next level. The PS5 must be Sony's most innovative console ever.

At the moment GT7 is my most wanted PS5 title, but with such a massive amount of content required I'd say 2023 at the earliest. That'll probably tie in with when I buy a PS5 slim for €300 with an extra controller and a free game 😊.

The most exciting thing for me is I heard DualSence works with PS3. Dualshock 3 controllers are becoming rare so this a great bit of news.

I actually thought that these unofficial faceplates could cause the console to overheat.

I have my reservations about dirt 5 but I will pick it up when it drops below €20.

I actually have Silent hill HD collection on PS3 still to play. I also download the PS1 Silent hill to my PS3. I don't agree that PS2 games hold up better.

Gamers are getting older but this is being blown way out of proportion. It's a vocal minority who all claim to have a big PS2 collection of games and don't want the inconvenience of popping them in an old PS2. One guy here even said that Sony has crushed his dreams. Older gamer don't talk like that. This self entitlement and moaning about everything is putting a dampener on an amazing moment in gaming history. The PS5 is the future not the past.

There's no company like Unisoft to wade in at a new console release.

The packaging looks a lot like the fat PS3. Think I'll wait for the slim but it's a very exciting time for anyone getting one. I'm too old and sensible to be an early adapter anymore, after doing it for years.

I agree. Even though I had a PS1, it was the PS3 that really got me into Playstation.

I personally think the PS4 is the best console ever built. Before this I would have said the SNES was. Sonys consistency and quality of first party titles has even surpassed Nintendo.

I played until dawn and got to the end, then I sold it! I have always regretted selling it. I'd like to play it again.

That's not the reason at all. The PS2 and PS3 would require emulation. Whereas PS4 does not.
