When it comes the time to hand over £450 / €500 you will have a different perspective. I got my PS5 a month ago and it's not worth €500. I got demon souls in the sale for €45 and it is very good. Apart from that I'm not seeing anything. Exclusives are 40/50 on sale and 70/80 not on sale. If you value money it's all very expensive for what it is. I suppose it depends on how wealthy you are.

The upgrade price is very reasonable. I love the lost legacy.

Surely Demon souls should be on the list since it was released at the end of last year. I got a PS5 a couple of weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it. It's very similar to Bloodborne. Game of the year for me.

I might buy it on PS4 and then upgrade on my PS5. That way I'll have it on both consoles so I can compare. Judging by this video I'll be disabling ray tracing as the cars look too shiny.

My favorite car in GT6 was the lotus 111R. Hopefully it'll be in 7. It was so much fun to loose the rear end and balance it in a drift.

Of course I drive. I'm not into games like horizon. I did play horizon 4, I got it free with my Xbox one x and it was ok but not for me. I'm more into lapping a circuit and perfecting my lap times. I used to race online with GT6 and I can tell you it was incredibly competitive and amazing fun. I also raced GT sport online a little. I don't normally subscribe to ps plus as I spend a lot of time playing single player games.

Each to their own. Let's just enjoy the games that we love.

LoL just shows what you know about racing games. I did play GT6 and loved it, still have it.
Forza motorsport is a poor man GT and as for horizon, it's for casuals. No skill required. Not my cup of tea. I want a racer that has very finely built controls that feel right, weight shifting, braking etc. Forza motorsport controls are too arcadey and horizon controls are just plain loose.

Gran Turismo was in the Olympics. Forza wasn't. There's a reason for that.

Ireland is forgotten about. If you think it's hard in other places to get a PS5, it has become almost impossible to get one here.

Say what you want about games scoring higher. Forza horizon does score high, because it's an open world game for casual racers. The people reviewing games are, "more lightly" not core racers but average gamers.

GT is a far more complex and refined game that is aimed at core racers and true car lovers.

Forza horizon 5 has done nothing since Forza horizon 4 except improve the graphics. Where's the innovation in that?

GT has ingredients Forza 'motorsport and horizon' can only dream off - Passion and the drive for perfection. Forza is second rate compared to Gran Turismo.

I wouldn't call it wasting money.

As far as I know "on my TV anyway". HDMI 2.0 can do 1080p @120. I'm thinking how many games on PS5 can do much better that? 4k @120 is a pipe dream. Of course unless the graphics are really trimmed back, otherwise I don't think it will ever happen on PS5. Which I have absolutely no problem with. Just enjoy the games.

Eventually starting Red dead redemption 2 on ps4 pro. I got a new TV, Sony XH95 65inch and my games look like they've had a makeover.

Not really. If you look deeper, you can clearly see Forza lacks the refinement of Gran Turismo. At least up until this point and I don't see that changing anytime ever.

I only have PS4 but I am absolutely hyped at the thoughts of a full Gran Turismo game.

What I love about Gran Turismo is the passion that Polyphony digital put into every game. Every Gran Turismo game has been the benchmark for the industry. Pure perfection.

Forza is a cheap imitation by comparison.

I've bought more games this year than I've ever bought in that time frame. Haven't gotten any games on that list though 😊.

As the UK is now considered as outside Europe, I've been enjoying duty free shopping on Amazon UK for the last 6 months. Any product after UK tax is subtracted where the value less than €22 is tax free if you are importing into Europe. It's coming to an end this month though. PS4 games are mostly discounted and I've been buying them up big time.

From the list I'd like ratchet and clank and RE. It'll be a few years before I get them though.

I genuinely couldn't care less, the only game I'd be interested in from these people is Wolfenstein. Anyway I will eventually get a series x as a second console to the PS5 I get in the future. What sold the series x to me is, it's just more of the same as I get with my one x except with more power. My gaming future dreams are with the PS5 though.

I'm really not into the type of games Bethesda make.

I don't have a response to that. But you're right that the PS5 is a stunning achievement. I can't wait to get one, but it'll be a few years.

If the PS5 can run rift apart with ray tracing on @ 60fps. There is no reason why the PS4 couldn't run it at 1080p @ 30fps.

Who cares, it's a continuation of what Sony has been doing and some games overlapping console generations is to be expected. Personally I'm over the moon that GT7 is coming to PS4. PS5 ownership is a minority market at the moment compared to the PS4. That will change over the years, I'm not getting a PS5 for at least 3 years. I'm really pleased.

I'll do my best. I sold my wheel last year but what the heck. 🏁

You buy Nintendo console's to play Nintendo games. You buy Sony console's to play Sony games. I've no idea why you buy an Xbox.

I haven't a PS5 yet and probably won't have one for a few years. If I seen it for €20 in a year or so on PS4 I'd say I would buy it.

I haven't been reading much about it but say you put the PS4 version in a PS5 what would be the story there? Is it upgraded or just super smooth frame rate?

Don't like them. I'm an Asics guy myself.

It's very easy to criticize something. I thought the gunplay was excellent.

Sony deserve the success. It's all about great games.

I hope we see a PS3 store sale. I want to buy the Ratchet & clank trilogy and Puppeteer.

Bought it on sale, still haven't played it yet. Couldn't care less it's not getting a sequel. A game needs the "go ahead" before it gets cancelled, so it was never cancelled, because it never was a thing.

It's sickening listening to self entitled, so called gamers, taking the moral high ground on everything.

I have it in my collection but still haven't played it yet. Fantastic gesture from Sony giving it for free. I'll hit the download but won't download it so I will own it on the store.

I think I'll hold out till I get a PS5 on this one. Although I'll be very interested in the ps4 ps5 comparison videos.

What are you taking about? Game pass isn't free, it's £120 per year and at the end of the year you will own nothing. PS5 games will come down in price and the £70 stick will be useless then. The name of the game is the games and MS have none.

The next few years is going to see MS getting trashed by Sony when PS5 exclusives become plentiful and start selling for discounted €20. The exact same way they did in the PS4 generation. The masses haven't bought into the next generation yet. The early have bought in and the industry needs them, but they don't set a precedent for the future.

The €70 price of new games is being used as a stick to beat Sony with. In a couple of years time PS5 will have top games at reduced prices. How will Xbox answer that? They won't. Game pass is totally overrated and Sony do not need to respond with a similar service, even though I know they have one.

I want physical games for €20 brand new and PS5 will deliver that eventually. MS are being heralded as the people's champion with their game pass but where are the new games? There are none.

I'll be sticking with Sony this upcoming generation. Last gen I bought a one x and it was/is a disappointment. Nothing has changed at MS.

I never heard of Puppeteer before. Now I want it big time.

The games I love and still love on ps3 are Killzone 1 & 2, Gran turismo 5 & 6, Uncharted 2 especially, TLOU, Metal gear solid 4 plus the HD collection. The list goes on. I only heard of Puppeteer for PS3 today on this site and I'm very interested in it. I hopefully can grab a copy or download it very soon. I'm using a brand new 500gb PS3 super slim only taken out of the box a couple of months ago. I had a few more brand new, but sold them recently because I needed the money. I love the PS3.

Bloodborne has taken over my free gaming time. I'm close to the end but I am filling in any areas I missed first time. The most amazing game I ever played.

Believe it of not but because of my backlog and I only came to the ps4 party about 3 years ago. I've only got round to playing bloodborne this last month or more. I'm playing on the pro and I have no frame rate issues. I've just beaten Mergo's Wet Nurse. I read I need to play the dlc now before I finish the game so I have activated the Hunter's nightmare.

I never played a souls game before this. I have now bought the dark souls trilogy on the strength of absolutely loving bloodborne. I don't want it to end. The game is a masterpiece. I don't say that very often.

I've been playing Bloodborne for the past few weeks. I'm battling my way through the nightmare of mensis, or should I say trying to battle my way. The game difficultly has definitely taken a sharp spike. What a game though.

How the heck is this anything to do with xbox? Or game pass. Sony also gave away Uncharted collection, journey and Knack 2 last year as part of their 'Play at home' initiative, to help people isolate during covid. This is the same thing.
