@AdamNovice The Video Game Tax Relief program was recently extended into 2023, although I'm not sure if UK based companies are still eligible due to leaving the EU? Rockstar might have to pay some of their own game development costs now!

From the way EA's merry band of "influencers" present at E3, their minds are already well and truly blown.

@nookie_egg Yeah, i tried the demo on my Pro and it went supersonic. Put me off buying the full game as i didn't think it was a good idea to put the console through such over exertions for longer periods of time.

It won't have micros but will be full of nano.

Not interested in the rounders game, perhaps it makes sense for some parts of the world but can't see it being viewed favourably for majority of Plus subscribers. I'd have preferred the uncharted trilogy to last out us, which i didn't enjoy either time I bought it.

Enjoyed my time with the game, but looking back it's possibly one of the weakest PS4 exclusives that I've played, saved only by the web swinging. Instantly forgettable story, repetitive missions and gameplay. I hope they play it less safe for the sequel. At least it was an easy platinum!

@Th3solution Hope you're enjoying a bit of Borderlands. I've downloaded and installed both the Ultra HD pack and new DLC for Borderlands Handsome collection but in game menus tell me neither are installed. Did you encounter this problem?

Barring one review, the scores are pretty similar and I'm willing to give it a whirl if the story provides an insight into topics close to my head.

@AdamNovice If Plus wasn't mandatory for online play, i don't think subscription numbers would continue to increase.

I'm hoping a Commodore 64 Mini is announced, complete with tiny tapes and a disc drive smaller than a shoe box.

The sound dropping out has definitely soured my first few hours and surprised it wasn't noticed prior to release. Not being able to hear what may be approaching is quite a major issue in this game, and having to quit out numerous times has put me off playing more till it's properly fixed.

I predict Bungie to split with Activision and acquire rights of Destiny.

I haven't really enjoyed what I've played so far. Appreciate the world they've built, it's design and graphics / sound are second to none but the gameplay is lacking for me. God of War still my favourite for the year.

Hope they fix it so Roxana will spar with you, rather than uttering 'leave me champion'. Breaks that particular quest, which is annoying.

@JJ2 Had a similar time install from disc myself. Hadn't had another game take that long before, wonder why?

I'm more concerned about the fan noise, as mentioned in the review. Every time that thing starts cranking up i fear for the longevity of my console and it's putting me off playing the game when it arrives later in the week.

Avoiding long sessions on the old ps4, this hot weather and lack of air con has me fearing for the consoles well being.
My son has been giving Rainbow 6 a whirl tho, filling me in on the lore.

@ApostateMage Windmills might be worth a listen. Heard of them through watching ENB streams on Twitch / YouTube and they remind me of the good ol days of hip hop. They can be found on bandcamp.

@Real_Obsi Bloodborne was a PS+ game only a couple of months ago.
Dragon's Dogma would be a good one, played it years back but never got that far.
Borderlands compilation would be nice.

I think epic implemented the account lock to generate consumer ire and force Sony's hand on cross play.

I get the feeling they're over selling this - with all the videos, news, interviews - not usually an encouraging sign.

I've recently started a new game and it seems more glitch ridden than i remember it being when i played through before. Geralts hair changed colour a couple of times, water didn't load in and picking up items is still hit and miss.
And i still hate gwent.

I'm not sure why'd you would have bought a Pro if you didn't have a 4k tv, perhaps in preparation?
Does seem a backwards step and not what i'd hoped the power of the pro would have been utilised for, but if it benefits others so be it. Can we play CD's yet though Sony?

Worms Battlegrounds is currently in the double discounts sale for £19.99, I wonder if it was a last minute replacement?

I don't think the clip tried in any shape or form to "synthesise a gameplay experience" which is what I'd have preferred to have seen rather than a cutscene from which little can be learnt.

I have to question Bethesda's policy of allowing streams of their games whilst preventing reviews on release day. I watched a few streams and was pretty unimpressed,whereas the reviews have been fairly positive and may have led to me buying the game, had I not seen it in action. It doesn't inspire faith in their own products either!

Stop putting pre orders in the latest releases section, it can be several pages deep before you get to titles that are actually out.

Didn't like the dodge being on the right stick, maybe it could be changed but seemed an odd configuration out of the box.

I'd love the return of the puzzles from the earlier games but think I'm in the minority for that. Didn't enjoy Syndicate and couldn't stand Unity, so will have to get good reviews before I purchase.

For such a beautifully realised set of environments and well rounded characters with entertaining dialogue, the gameplay was somewhat lacking for me in uncharted 4. If ND were more ambitious in what you can do within the worlds they create, then they'd truly be worthy of all the top developer plaudits.

If the Beta ever becomes available to non pre orders and I'm about to download it, I might give it a shot but at the minute it's still unavailable.
Found the first game technically proficient but soulless and quickly lost interest. Would be interested to see what's changed.

Trying to browse the pages is painful, sorting them by price doesn't work and can't filter by console. PS Store is just naff!

@GamerDad66 The only ps4 title in the top 10 is GTA V and that's not really a ps4 title because it is on the ps3?

@dark_knightmare2 Content poor was perhaps wrong choice or turn of phrase. I'm sure they'll have hours of the same content. Maybe idea poor fits what I was aiming at.

@YETi Why would Nintendo do that? The calibre of their 1st party titles more or less guarantees a core audience will buy their console, their stock price is healthy and I believe they're also cash rich.
Personally hope they continue to do their own thing and don't stop trying new things.

@roe I'm with you on A way out, looked like it brought something new to the gaming table or couch. Sadly likely to be forgotten in a sea of graphically rich but content poor AAA releases, just like this poll.

For me, seeing that "game changer" Jesse Wellens(?) fall to pieces during the EA show made this year's E3 one of the best ever!
Games wise, there is nothing I'm itching to play or rushing to pre order, beyond good & evil 2 reveal disappointed - too sweary and not even sure how it linked to first game.
Roll on the next big game show!

A quick reveal one year, a longer trail the next, and then no release month never mind a date. That practice should be outlawed by the gaming high council.

There's a big push to break down the stigma surrounding mental health both in the UK and internationally, and as a user of MH services I'm conflicted on this kind of game.

@BAMozzy Agree on the VR section. Several left me puzzled as to why they were on that format in the first place and I wonder if they will work without the headset, thus reaching a larger audience?
Microsoft overused the term exclusive, not the first company to do this but worst culprit this e3 for sure. Having the confidence in and exclusive content for PS4 for nearly the full presentation (call of duty and destiny aside, I'm not counting timed exclusives) put Sony ahead in my book. Now I just want some must have games for Switch and I'm set till 2020.
