A wave of new PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium titles is now live for subscribers, as detailed in last week's monthly update. The full lineup for August 2026 is available for most members now, but those in the UK, USA, and Japan only get access to four of the 10 today.
Sony is continuing to split the lineup across multiple weeks in these three territories, so here's what's on offer today:
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (PS5) | Review
- Vampire Survivors (PS5, PS4) | Review
- Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams (PS2)
- Atlantis: The Lost Empire (PS1)
The second batch of PS Plus Extra games for August 2026 arrives next Tuesday, 25th August, and here is what you get then:
- Hell Is Us (PS5)
- Umamusume Pretty Derby - Party Dash (PS4)
- Two Point Museum (PS5)
- Metro Exodus (PS5, PS4)
- Dying Light 2 (PS5)
As always, we took a Poll over the weekend to gauge your excitement for the August 2026 selection on PS Plus Extra and Premium. This one was pretty positive, with 63% of readers registering a vote to say they're happy with what's on offer. Only 7% of you think it's a "crap selection", which is very good going for this site!

Really happy to see Vampyre Survivors being offered, hopefully a lot of new players jump onboard and embrace the addiction. My last run was the usual 'I'll give it a quick thirty or so minutes'. Then eventually hit the Results screen and looked at the time.
There was no passage of time, just satisfying numbers, colours, sounds. Hopefully it leads to more DLC sales too. The Castlevania one is a great addition. I started playing on (checks) 18/4/26 and still haven't seen all of the stages/characters or filled the bestiary.
I still have my first grab from my first run. Almost eight minutes. It's definitely tricky and a little sluggish at first but eventually all of the unlocks (that are permanent) allow for faster more fun runs. People aren't joking when they say it's addictive, I burnt-out on Wildlands chasing Tiers and that game was waiting with warm open arms. It's helped with insomnia too, when few other games ever did.
Great start to this months games. Vampire Survivers is a must play for those that haven't...
I'm nervous to start KCD2 as its such a commitment and there are so many other games to play coming. It took me 99h to finish AC Black Flag Resync so I can only imagine how long KCD2 will take me if I get into it.

@GirlVersusGame with a run that length the screen must have been an indecipherable mess of weaponry, explosives and colour... which is how you know you're on a good run 👍😁
@Markatron84 It's great for multitasking too, I burned through so many audiobooks/albums/movies while playing, today it's on triple speed, it's hard to go back to normal speed. The game feels so slow without things racing towards you and exploding into colours and numbers. I should really be farming golden eggs. I think my longest run was six-hours, I was listening to some Discworld at the same time and they aren't at all short. I have a friend rip them from my Audible account, convert them and then play them through the consoles USB music player, it preserves the sound effects.
I'm playing while typing, it only needs one hand.
@GirlVersusGame Yeah it's a good game for playing while also watching or listening to something else.
Although!!!
The music does slap, so sometimes it's good to get those headphones on.
