Sony's latest State of Play is very nearly here, and this time, it's focusing wholly on a single game: Phantom Blade Zero.

The Chinese action game has looked extremely promising for a long time now, and as it approaches its October launch date, developer S-GAME has prepared a new showing of its stylish action title.

Sony has said the Phantom Blade Zero State of Play will run for "nearly 20 minutes", so it's on the shorter side for a State of Play, but it's of course entirely focused on just one game this time.

What Will Be Shown During the Phantom Blade Zero State of Play Livestream?

This State of Play is all about Phantom Blade Zero, an upcoming action game from Chinese developer S-GAME. There will be no other games shown during the presentation.

Exactly what will be shown is unknown, but it looks like it'll focus heavily on brand new gameplay footage, as it's been described as a "gameplay deep dive".

The State of Play will showcase the game's "gameplay systems, dynamic combat, and the dark wuxia land we call the Phantom World," says the studio.

It's also expected that a playable demo will be announced and released on PS5.
