@lazarus11 The demo isn't on the same patch and performance is fine, which is ultimately misleading. It is only when I got out in the open world proper that the issues appeared.

@DrVenture69 I'll take a look but pretty sure I switched it on/off and changed resolutions to no noticeable effect. Thanks for your suggestions

@lazarus11 LG C3 with VRR and all the trimmings. Have changed resolutions in game, nothing changes on screen. Graphics settings in demo are different to those in the full game, and i definitely wouldn't have bought it if I'd encountered half the issues present in the full game. Thanks for your suggestions and I'll give them all a go again this weekend

Performance on Ps5 Pro (as of 2 weeks ago) was not great. Screen tearing, jerky framerate that wasn't noticeable in the demo. Video settings seem straight from the PC version compared to in demo which gave you a framerate to target. Disappointed as was quite enjoying it

@belmont No worries, I do wish Sony had a few more games coming out soon. Need more god of war before my reactions and brain turn to mush, but don't care if they stay exclusive or not.

Find their patch notes have more personality than the game itself. I just couldn't get into this one at all. All the positive reviews tempted me back for more Assassin, but it will be my last (hides wallet).

@Marquez that used to cheese me off no end as well, why they couldn't be applied to already purchased titles I don't know. Another reason to not buy at release!

I always enjoyed getting the odd £5 voucher back, but was often frustrated that new campaigns didn't trigger if you had already purchased some of the titles on the list. Seemed a bit unfair as you can't (or don't want to) really repurchase titles!

Much deserved. Enjoying my time with this game so much. Loving the combat, story, characters. Forgotten all about Indy, which was double the price and less than half the fun imo!!

@wildcat_kickz And it will keep trying to install the PS4 version to your PS5, even if Remastered version is already installed.

I'm sure there are other regions that get as badly if not more fleeced as the UK, but £49.99 doesn't equal in dollars or 54.99 in euros. Heck, even 84.99 aussie dollars is less.

Beating the game was possibly my proudest achievement in gaming, until my cheeky upstart of a son had the temerity to go and get the platinum!

I had one on back order with shop to, and it finally arrived yesterday so maybe they have stock now?

@Balaam_ With losses in the 100's of millions, a studio closure and 100's of jobs lost, I don't think trophy records was high on the list of priorities!

@GeeEssEff Similar experience here. I try and use them for purchases, but never seem to want to do home delivery for anything I want to buy or not in stock locally. Sad to see tbh.

@LifeGirl I don't know, PT had more of an impact on me than those 3 titles combined.

Big fan of the original game so was looking forward to this. Not impressed, voice acting is awful and gameplay seems to have more in common with y's or tales games rather than Secret of Mana.
Perhaps the fact that it just dumped you in at a later stage and threw a lot of info at you all at once didn't help either.

@JuiceboxMeister The Nacon Revolution Pro 5 is compatible with PS5, if you can live without adaptive triggers and other features of the dualsense. Quite pricey though.

@thefourfoldroot1 Went through many a quickshot 2 back in the C64 years, but have also been fortunate with ps4 & ps5 controllers. Would love to be able to blame my poor gameplay on stick drift!

Played through up to epilogue at which point kept insta-dying so switched to Phantom Liberty and ended u getting stuck when door locked behind me and wouldn't reopen so that was the end of that.
Tbh, I found it all pretty hollow and not a patch on Witcher 3. I don't feel a plot that regularly reminds you that you are on borrowed time works in an open world game.

@NeonPizza I found that if I change TV input / source before switching it off, it doesn't automatically boot up the PS5 when I turn TV back on. It's only if I've left it on the same HDMI input as the PS5 that mine switches back on.
Still annoying that you have to remember to do that though!

@EchoRange I thought it was terrible on PS5, screen tearing galore, frame hitches and find quality mode better than performance. Was surprised it fared as well in reviews as it did.
Hopefully this patch sees some improvement as I stopped playing it was that distracting.

No mention of the audio bug where all sound vanishes? Apparently can be resolved by disabling 3D audio but I'm not going to start doing that on a game by game basis.
Has it been resolved since the early access on PS5 started?
Also, tutorials didn't pop up for me when I gave it a whirl so will wait till that is fixed as well cos I need all the help I can get!!

@ApostateMage They're not wrong on quite a few points regarding CP2077 though. I'll give it another go when 2.0 is released but game just seems to lack heart & soul when I've tried before.

How many copies of gta v do some people own? I personally think that this is quite depressing reading, same old stuff at the top 10. No wonder fewer and fewer risks are taken on original ideas.

@Fiendish-Beaver To be honest, I don't understand that market share figure. I personally would have thought that PC, mobile and Nintendo Switch have the biggest market shares, followed by PS4 then the newer consoles. And there would be considerable overlap in ownership in all these areas.
