Didn't enjoy the 2nd series as much as the 1st but didn't hate it much as most. Just don't feel the big switch at end of series worked the same as the game and the lengthy gap between series saps any energy from it.

I hope any changes to the displayed background actually stick now. I tried to swap from the roaring fireplace option seeing as I don't need to feel much warmer at the minute but it won't stay gone!

@ButteredCrumpet The cost of records is scandalous now. My living room wouldn't be half as cluttered if I'd had to buy today's prices for my collection!
The way Amazon Music has progressed should be a warning sign to all those celebrating a digital only future. First you got a free 'auto rip' copy of all CDs you bought, then they vanished but you could listen to your collection in the app, then you had to pay extra not to have it shuffle and now some aren't even available to listen to...

@lacerz I have vinyl records & CD's that are 30+ years old and I'm likely to degrade before they do if I'm perfectly honest

I encountered the map crashing the game bug early on, tried to persevere without opening map until I would forget. Now I'm just waiting for them to iron out all the kinks. I do find it strange how many QoL issues weren't picked up in its development but do feel they are getting overly praised for fixing what shouldn't have been broken on release

@Ristar24 I'd like to think they'll face some challenge about this practice but i won't hold my breath. Don't think it's even illegal, but doesn't feel right to shaft existing customers so blatantly

It's showing as £3.74 when not logged in and £9.99 when logged in for me (UK). I hope they get in bother for this, pretty scummy behaviour

@TheLotteryMan1 Bought Tainted Grail last month and ended up getting a refund, some really bad graphical issues out in the open world that weren't apparent in the demo, just as a word (or two) of warning

@lazarus11 The demo isn't on the same patch and performance is fine, which is ultimately misleading. It is only when I got out in the open world proper that the issues appeared.

@DrVenture69 I'll take a look but pretty sure I switched it on/off and changed resolutions to no noticeable effect. Thanks for your suggestions

@lazarus11 LG C3 with VRR and all the trimmings. Have changed resolutions in game, nothing changes on screen. Graphics settings in demo are different to those in the full game, and i definitely wouldn't have bought it if I'd encountered half the issues present in the full game. Thanks for your suggestions and I'll give them all a go again this weekend

Performance on Ps5 Pro (as of 2 weeks ago) was not great. Screen tearing, jerky framerate that wasn't noticeable in the demo. Video settings seem straight from the PC version compared to in demo which gave you a framerate to target. Disappointed as was quite enjoying it

@belmont No worries, I do wish Sony had a few more games coming out soon. Need more god of war before my reactions and brain turn to mush, but don't care if they stay exclusive or not.

Find their patch notes have more personality than the game itself. I just couldn't get into this one at all. All the positive reviews tempted me back for more Assassin, but it will be my last (hides wallet).

@Marquez that used to cheese me off no end as well, why they couldn't be applied to already purchased titles I don't know. Another reason to not buy at release!

I always enjoyed getting the odd £5 voucher back, but was often frustrated that new campaigns didn't trigger if you had already purchased some of the titles on the list. Seemed a bit unfair as you can't (or don't want to) really repurchase titles!

Much deserved. Enjoying my time with this game so much. Loving the combat, story, characters. Forgotten all about Indy, which was double the price and less than half the fun imo!!

I'm sure there are other regions that get as badly if not more fleeced as the UK, but £49.99 doesn't equal in dollars or 54.99 in euros. Heck, even 84.99 aussie dollars is less.

Beating the game was possibly my proudest achievement in gaming, until my cheeky upstart of a son had the temerity to go and get the platinum!
I could have picked 4 of the answers for final question. Anyways, best start a new run and get that shiny!!

@Resurrected-X460 Don't games sell in much higher numbers now as gaming is less a niche hobby to what it was back then? So even though game prices haven't changed much they still make more?

I had one on back order with shop to, and it finally arrived yesterday so maybe they have stock now?

@Balaam_ With losses in the 100's of millions, a studio closure and 100's of jobs lost, I don't think trophy records was high on the list of priorities!

@GeeEssEff Similar experience here. I try and use them for purchases, but never seem to want to do home delivery for anything I want to buy or not in stock locally. Sad to see tbh.
