I just want beast scraps, why can't i find beast scraps anywhere?

@The_Pixel_King Sadly you'll still have to kill Malenia, but the guide certainly made it easier and can point you in the right direction for all items and hidden areas.

Still in white orchard but not enjoying it as much as i did upon first release. Finding controls & combat more irritating this time round and just finding it a bit of a slog.
Strange cos I loved it first playthrough. Plenty of hours to change my mind and i never did do the DLC.

Does Roach still get stuck on roofs or appear in the window frame in Wild Orchard?

I enjoyed Ragnarok more than Elden Ring, felt it was the more complete game experience and had me laughing, smiling, swearing and nearly sobbing.
Elden Ring was just too big, I could hardly keep track of what the story was or why i was going around murdering everything but still expect it to win.

I hope the Pulse 3D headset will be able to fit over the sides of this thing. Feels like it might be a bit of a snug fit

@thefourfoldroot is there a way to disable that message? Bit sick of it popping up everytime I switch on the PS5.
It definitely appeared with the last firmware update.

Gave it a second shot on PS5 with the upgraded version and while it performs better, the world just feels devoid of life, NPC's spring into action as you approach them and the lack of traffic on the roads is so jarring when coming from a session of GTA V.
I haven't felt particularly engaged in the storyline, found the hacking game poorly explained and the upgrade tree(s) are just a mess.
Maybe it is just not for me, but seems a massive downgrade on the world & story of Witcher 3, which might not have been flawless at launch but still had enough going for it to hook me and keep me playing.

Astro's Playroom has elicited the most positive responses from everyone that has had a go on the PS5 and brought enjoyment to even the "non gamers", much like Nintendo products have done in the past.
Too much emphasis is placed on technical prowess these days and less on "is it fun to play?". Just think how many PS5's Sony could be unable to sell due to chip shortages if they had something like Wii Sports...

Wasn't Maquette a PS+ game? Could've sworn i added it to my library, played it for a bit so must've done. Now it is displaying it as available to buy regardless which version i select.

@nessisonett after watching people play it at 60fps and then booting it back up on my console, I'd pay at least 20 blood echoes for a frame bump alone!

@AFCC Maybe they could tie in E3 with SGDQ, each block of runs could link in with a developer or manufacturers presentation. Bringing the hype and raising money for charity at the same time.

Ended up with both PS4 & PS5 versions of DLC in the download queue, which was annoying as only the PS5 version is on the console.

@Quintumply Great review, tempted to purchase now. Does the co-op work between a PS5 & PS4, or do you need to be playing on same model of console?

"Friend’s Pass offers cross-gen but not cross-platform play. For example, Player 1 can be playing on PlayStation 5 and invite Player 2 on Playstation 4. But Player 1 playing on Playstation 5 cannot invite Player 2 on Xbox Series X or PC. The save system also works cross-gen."

@leucocyte yeah, same. Admitted defeat and acknowledged that that's one platinum I won't be getting. Shame, as i loved the game, one of my favourites of the PS4 generation and would have liked the 100% but couldn't get near the queen!

@Dobbos You have put the disc in the right way?

I think I've finished the game, no end credits but no quests left. Feels a bit of an anticlimactic way to draw the game to its conclusion.

@Morzy I got a Super Nintendo when it launched and got unlucky with a faulty console or perhaps it was the cartridge? Difficult to tell. Even back then there were faults, think it gets magnified by today's access to social media.

Now if they can stop the console installing the PS4 version from the disc when you already have the PS5 game installed and also stop the hourly spinning of the drive, that'd be great!

Astro Playroom really captured that joy factor that's usually reserved for Nintendo first party games. I think i enjoyed it more than Mario Odyssey and is the game I'd use to show off the PS5 to guests, if I'm ever allowed to have any.

Says Region 2 on my case & disc. ( I initially thought they meant the item code, numpty)

I might start a new playthrough of Fallout 4 as Johnny Rootbear. Will i need to pay any fees?

@StonyKL the glitching trees might be a type of world event, where you the simulation breaks and you collect files as present day character. There are a few of these I've found so far.

Now they just need to get the upgrade from PS4 to PS5 working.

I'm surprised there isn't a way to prevent even physical editions being played early, seeing as everything has to be installed nowadays.

I suppose if you didn't connect to the internet you could get round this.

@PossibLeigh Great minds think alike, must've been writing it at same time. I've tried reinstalling today, but no change. Apparently logging in to Turkish store front gives you the option. But you've probably already seen that.
Disc drive keeps revving up every half hour or so, which is a bit annoying but positives outweigh the issues I've encountered so far.

Haven't been able to upgrade the PS4 version of AC Valhalla to PS5. Have installed from the PS4 disc and no option to upgrade appears. There are a few comments on Ubi forums so hopefully it'll be sorted soon.
The version upgrade path seems poorly thought out & implemented if you ask me.

It would appear the quality of the Blog has dropped to that of previous EU version, which was always the poor cousin of the US blog entries. Listing all sales titles, without pricing info had always been the case and has put me off spending money in the past.

Naughty Dog may well have been pushing the envelope in terms of presentation, characters, and storytelling but I've always found the gameplay lacking, so hopefully they've improved that area too.

@Eldritch Thanks for clearing that up, i must of misread something about it, or got the EU investigation mixed in with the tax relief.
