Re: Feature: Push Square's E3 2015 Game of the Show - Horizon: Zero Dawn

@RicksReflection Calm down there, your link to an opinion piece, which is pretty much debunked in its comments, was nothing but ignorant and lacking insight itself. I was not attempting to troll or anything of the sort.
Suggesting that the processing power needed to run a game on PC in Ultra at 60fps and in 4k is influenced by the PS4 is fanciful.

Re: Reaction: Sony Delivers the Greatest E3 Press Conference of All Time

I wasn't overly impressed with the Microsoft presentation, feeling it lacked actual gameplay from most titles and just felt what was shown was increasingly generic and formulaic.
However, I was expecting even less from Sony but came away surprisingly optimistic. I felt there was more actual gameplay on show and there were a few creative risks, such as Dreams (currently unexplainable) and that Uncharted demo made Tomb Raider look even blander after that oddly familiar piece of gameplay shown by Microsoft earlier on.
My heart does sink every time "exclusive content" is smugly revealed, usually by the least convincing "gamer" from whichever company is presenting. In this area I feel we are being played by developers, publishers and manufacturers alike and it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. "Mines got more levels than yours" makes everyone look childish and just encourages the more extreme "fans", regardless of their console choice.

Re: Review: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PlayStation 4)

I can appreciate the time spent on creating such a detailed, living breathing world, but did no one think to suggest a larger font setting? Especially for all the menus? Haven't seen this raised in many reviews or comments, but it has put me off playing until some fix is made available. I want my eyesight in tip top condition for that unicorn...

Not sure about the "Gangs of New York" style street brawls. Maybe that did happen on the streets of London, but I can't recall covering it in History lessons or seeing it in any other media!
The new fighting didn't look particularly dynamic or revelatory and the carriage driving segments looked down right awful.
Saying that, if reviews are good I'll probably buy it.

Re: PlayStation Plus Subscribers Suddenly Losing Access to Accounts

Panic_Attache

I'm on the Beta, which was going excellent I have to say, really impressed. For past couple of days, PS+ icon has disappeared from profile.
Tried restoring licenses, only restores 1. One or two downloaded titles still work but the majority have stopped, as had Netflix and Now TV.
The consensus on the forum is to leave things as they are. The more you restore licenses, rebuild storage etc. the more access you lose!
Hope that answers your questions.
