Everything seems fine to me. In the NE of Scotland. I only know because a colleague WhatsApped me about it saying she hoped I had a good book. Funnily enough all I've been doing lately is reading 📚.
I reached chapter 8 in Lost Judg(e)ment last night. Most definitely playing more tonight as the story has taken a dark turn. Not that it wasn't already!
One of my all time favourite games. Don't think it would have quite the same impact from just viewing it. Really hit me when I found out the Colossi were harmless!
I'm currently playing Lost Judgement, Nine Sols & Hades on PS5 & on Switch Ori & the blind forest & Golf Story.
I picked up a few games in the sales. Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect Legendary edition, Imp of The Sun on PS5 & Katana Zero & Pepper Grinder on Switch. Not back to work until the 3rd, so hopefully get some quality gaming & reading time as well as a cinema trip to see Nosferatu!
I haven't gamed properly in ages, now I'm finding myself playing quite a few. On PS5 Lost Judgement 2, FFVI remastered and Nine Sols. On Switch Tiny Thor, Sword of the Vagrant and Golf Story!
Apart from infrequently booting up my PS5 to play It Takes Two, with my niece, which we finally finished last weekend. I started Scarlet Nexus last night. So maybe more of that later.
Other than that I'll be watching The Godfather with my Mrs and continuing with reading Death By Water.
I'm happy to keep my original PS5. That and the Switch OLED are probably my final consoles. It will take some pretty innovative games, to keep me gaming into the future. VR still has a way to go and live service isn't for me. Need some new genres or some really exciting game mechanics.
We have our nieces staying over. So the eldest and myself will be finally be finishing It takes Two. We have only played a stage each time she has been. So will get that finished tonight!
@colonelkilgore I keep forgetting about Rebirth. Thanks for reminding me. I have a crazy backlog but I just haven't had the urge to game. Some cheap amazing games in my future though!
It's a fine day outside and we don't get much of those here, in the North East of Scotland. So will make use of the nice weather by going out. Haven't really been gaming for quite some time, I finished Hi-Fi Rush not long after it came to PS5. Reading is my main interest just now. Currently reading Sapiens and Fullmetal Alchemist manga volumes!
I'm playing how to stay sane when looking after my 9 & 6 year old nieces. Taking them into town this morning for a bit of shopping and lunch. The eldest is 10 later this month and getting a switch for her birthday. Might introduce her to some games!
Hopefully my sister & brother in-law won't fled town before I take the kids home tomorrow 😵💫.
I look forward to playing both games at some point in the future. Both look fantastic and I tried the demo for Stellar Blade which was excellent and Rebirth is the follow up to Remake, so instant buy!
I recently parted ways with the majority of my Star Wars stuff, I have kept the blu-ray set of I-VI and the NJO novels, hopefully get round to reading them soon. I'm sure it will be a fine game but for me Star Wars is no longer a must watch IP.
I'm hooked on Duolingo learning Japanese. Once my nieces have gone to bed I'll finish my current book. Is Mother Dead. The PS5 and Switch haven't been on in quite some time. Plenty to look forward to when I get the urge to game again though. Also picked up where I left off with Star Trek. Dropped it at Voyager a few years back but feel I'm ready to dive back In. Have a great weekend everyone!
I was flicking through the t.v. at the weekend and landed on an episode of Birds of a feather. A similar warning came up on the screen at the beginning of the episode. People need to toughen up rather than be offended by every little thing. Humanity is doomed!
@Relygon I considered getting all 3 machines, but not that much interests me these days from the Green team. I barely have time to play all the PS5 and Switch games I own. If the option was there to play their games on other systems, then I Don't have to worry about spending £400 - £500 quid on a machine that would gather dust whilst waiting for the odd game I was interested in. I have the Ori games on Switch.
I got rid of my 360 before Gears 3 came out so I would love to revisit that trilogy and complete it. I ĺoved 1 & 2. Would also love to play Lost Odyssey and replay Blue Dragon it was my first JRPG!
I picked up the Ori games on switch and they are pure magic. Only other game I'd be interested in is Hi-Fi Rush.
It would be amazing to see a proper revival of Rare and their IP's, but can't see that happening as surely it would have by now.
I'll take Hi-Fi Rush on either PS5 or Switch. A remastered Gears collection would be fine too. Loved Rare's glory days and early xbox stuff but lost interest when they were creating avatars and just not interested in Sea of Thieves!
I enjoyed Spider-man 2, that and FFXVI are the only games in the top 10 I played this year. Neither game was perfect but I enjoyed them all the same. Both day one purchases that I played for around 40 hours a piece and bug free so that's a bonus.
@LN78. They want to be Welsh and on the One Show? 😉
@Vega37 It certainly is a word. The top 10 is voted by the readers of the site, as well as the staff. I love that people are passionate about games but does it matter where they place on a list? Enjoy what you play and move on. Your comment has been non-constructive!
@RockLoi Definitely improves with the full moveset. You get uppercut which doubles as double jump. Dash through and shoulderbash enemies is also handy for avoiding attacks!
Haven't played much games this year. Judgement, Burning Shores, Spider-man 2 and most recently Narita Boy. All great games. Hopefully I will get some more played in 2024!
I Finished reading Slaughterhouse 5 this morning and have started Of Mice & Men. Might turn on the PS5 or switch later this evening but I think I'm more in a film mood.
How some of you guys juggle so many games at anyone time astounds me.
@AhmadSumadi I guess so, my niece enjoys reading so I'm happy about that and my niece on my wife's side is into Anime & Manga. Got a lot of books that one day will go to the kids.
@AhmadSumadi No it's fine. They get what they want. Just a bit disappointing they don't like better more varied games. They also like football which I find boring, also no kids seem to read for fun these days. But they are my nephews and I'll support them no matter what they are into!

Re: Rumour: Gears of War Collection Will Be Revealed for PS5 This Summer
I missed out on the third game, so I would love to revisit the series as the first two were some of my favourite games on the 360.

@species it's a young Prince in the image if that's what your referring to? Plenty mature older women in anime. You just have to Try out more stuff!
