@RevGaming I haven't really had memorable mp gaming sessions since the N64 days. 4 us crammed round a 14 inch t.v. and dishing out dead arms to the mate that did you wrong 😂.
I love dipping in and out of Rocket League, it's a great way to bond with my nephews who live down south. Would be great to find a game I enjoyed playing with folks here on PS though!
@Apfelschteiner All the games I've played so far (0-4) haven't been fully voiced either there is always the odd bit that you just have to read 5 is the same and that's only in the opening hours. Unless you mean something different?
@Apfelschteiner I don't mind that they've changed the combat to turn based for a new protagonist, it'll be a welcome change after playing 0-6. Still got the Judgement series for the real time combat.
@Apfelschteiner You can always just blast through the story and do side stuff at a later date.
I thought the third game was a bit of a step back but can't be helped for obvious reasons. I loved 4 though and 5 has me intrigued story wise at the beginning of the game at least. I have Judgement but I'll pick up lost judgement and LAD once I'm done with 5,6 and Judgement.
@mrtennis1990 That's where I started. I'm Just at the beginning of Yakuza 5 I've loved every entry but always take a break between playing them. Enjoy!
Got the platinum for Unbound: World's Apart yesterday so started Death's Door and Yakuza 5. Death's Door Is a treat and I loved the opening of Yakuza 5, I've missed being in that world can't wait to get stuck in with Kiryu and the gang once again.
Can't we just crown both HFW and ER and call it a day?
@Anti-Matter Those games aren't out yet, never heard of the Zorro one and Kao looks like a Bandicoot game with a Kangaroo. I do enjoy platformers but after playing other games most 3D ones just feel bland in comparison!
@ShogunRok 😂. Be funny if there was one and Stray was included in the lineup. Seriously though I'm very intrigued by the game and Pushsquare is my source. You guys do a great job here, even if you get quite a bit of flack at times.
@LN78 Very little problems in my 140 hours, the thing that got me irked was the Tremortusks tusk's clipping into the ground when I needed to shoot them off but aside from that I had a blast.
@thefourfoldroot I'm with you there, SpongeBob is just a stop gap after spending 140 hours in HFW before I pick the next game I really want to play and spend lots of time with.
Both Astrobot games are amazing can't believe I forgot about those.
@thefourfoldroot it's not that bad. Sure it's an old game with a new lick of paint and comes with the usual problems 3D platformers do, dodgy camera at times, finicky platforming and some dodgy hit boxes. I've played worse, nothing will probably surpass Superman 64 for not just a horrible licenced game but a real stinker of a game in general. SpongeBob is competent in what it does, it's no Mario but nothings ever came close to Mario other than Rare's efforts Banjo/Conker/DK64!
Still need to play this one at some point, looks great, not enough time and so many great games out there. Not everything needs a sequel so it's great they want to try something different!
I contributed towards Mario Kart being back in the charts this week 😊, I picked up a used copy of GotG as I've heard good things about that and I picked up ER for a good price, so once I've played a few smaller titles from my backlog I'll get to those.
More people need to get HFW it's a masterpiece 😘
Honestly the crazy amount of details in this game is absurd, You can't really appreciate a game like this blasting through the main quests. Just hanging around with characters or watching the machines interact with the environment is super impressive, Early in the game I hid in-between trees and behind buildings/rocks to avoid being attacked only for said environmental object to be smashed/bent and have me running from danger with my jaw on the floor. Everything you do seems to change/impact the environment which is brilliant.
I take my hat off to everyone at Guerrilla for an amazing game they have created. Loved every second and still going to explore this world for some time yet.
The spongebob game seems like light hearted fun, I played the tutorial before hitting the pubs earlier and it'll be a nice pallette cleanser before getting back into more tricky/heavy themed games!
Not sure yet, probably more HFW, even though I have the platinum as of the early hours this morning. 137 hours 90.74% still some bandit outposts, a race and one final collectable along with machine variants and data points.
Might give GG Strive a spin with the new character and start something like Death's door.
Have a fantastic weekend everyone wherever you are and whatever your up to!
I barely have time to play all the PS+ games I already have access to because I buy plenty games, subscription services don't really do it for me. £70 for a top quality AAA game is fine.
I wouldn't want them to lower the quality of games and mainly be mtx and multiplayer focused titles as then I'd just not bother with gaming.
103 hours into HFW and still plenty to do. Got myself an extremely aggressive acid clawstrider called Ripper so just exploring with him and possibly another main quest later this evening!
@MrGilly69 the Horizon games if you haven't played those. I loved the first one and the second one improves upon it in every way, currently have 103 hours done and nowhere near finished!
@Kidfunkadelic83 this for me too. With HZD I have somehow accumulated over 200 photos, it would be nice to just access them through the app rather than faffing about.
@lolwhatno I was just messing with you my man 😜. I have a few quests lined up which are only possible due to that ability and the CGI trailer sneakily put it in at the end, so I was just having some fun.
HFW, 85 hours in and still not uncovered all the map yet at about 54% completion. Stopped for a beach photoshoot, think I'm going to go around cataloguing all wildlife, machines and even the different tribes. Aloy will be the Attenborough of her time (if it wasn't for her 109 human kills, 54 headshots 😂).
I like the look of this, like others have said PS tends to be harsher with their scores but I'd rather that than just slapping 1's or 10's in everything.
Can't wait to play this one but I'm still engrossed in HFW, I just hope all these 10/10 scores are not just crazy critics and it's as good as people are saying!
65 hours into HFW, Just superb spent most of today doing Scavenge contracts but tonight I'm heading a little further west to advance the main story.
Really looking forward to playing Elden Ring to see what all the fuss is about but that probably won't be for a while.
If I'm lucky I'll get it a fair bit cheaper and the frame rate issues will be sorted, if not no Biggie played loads of games over the years with frame rate issues.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Horizon Forbidden West, GT7 Surge with New PS5 Stock
That's awesome and folks had written HFW off. It's a fantastic game. I see GTA5 has made a triumphant return as well!

@J2theEzzo I'm looking forward to it but HFW was spectacular, So ER has to be something spectacular in order to impress.

I'm surprised that dodgeball game isn't on the list!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 421
Patrick's hoarding my last 4 golden spatulas for the platinum but he's not giving them up till SpongeBob finds all his socks the lazy sod.
Other than that maybe a bit more HFW and start something new.
Have a great weekend everyone!

I've been so immersed in this beautiful game that I didn't even notice, surely the animations aren't that long?
Maybe gamers are just an impatient bunch these days. Flying through one game to get to the next.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for April 2022?
@Johnnycide never too old for SpongeBob
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 420
@Rob_230 Only about 100 or so hours to go if you play it like me 😉
Didn't use fast travel once and still not tempted to use it even after credits rolled and platinum achieved, enjoy the journey. It's a hell of a game!

Re: Poll: We Want You to Rate Your Favourite PS5 Games
Of all the ones I own, Destruction All-Stars and Dirt 5 scored lowest with 6's.
Guilty Gear Strive would have been a 10 if there was more single player content.
