@Cyberpsycho @bozz I'm not saying it's a bad thing but you shouldn't really judge a game wholly on it's visuals. Comics for example can have great stories but sub par art and vice versa, books can have fun stories but have horrible prose. You can still enjoy the overall product. Things like plot, characters gameplay mechanics can shine without top tier visuals.

Don't get me wrong, when everything comes together it's fantastic but not a total disaster if it isn't!

@RareFan At least Sonics getting plenty love. Tell Microsoft to hurry it up with New Banjo, Conker, JFG, Blast Corp, Viva Pinata. I'll even take a new Grabbed by the Ghoulies and Kameo follow up!

@Cyberpsycho if your playing games for the graphics your doing it wrong. The game looks fantastic, I for one can't wait to play it.

@nomither6 @Flora2122 I had fun with the game sure it has it's problems, mainly Chaos island being horrible to navigate. Story wasn't a draw for me but it was serviceable. Would have liked tougher enemies to utilize Sonics new move set as he's to OP by the end game.

Running around as Sonic was fun. I went for the platinum so it definitely wasn't a terrible game for me!

I've finally downloaded Elden Ring to finally experience this much talked about game. Only once I've finished Tales of Arise though, Cult of the Lamb I'm tempted to pick it up in the sale. Horizon is a superb game I can't wait for the Burning Shores, Got the plat for that and Ragnarok.

Will play the Last of Us remake once it is heavily discounted love the remaster and part 2.

Great game. My biggest issue with it was by the end Sonic was way over powered and machines were no challenge, next time I'd love tougher enemies.

16 out of 20. Not bad.

Just got platinum #45 Falcon Age, Will probably continue with Tales of Arise and dip in and out of smaller titles.

No Thank you SSM for making a superb game, So much fun I spent just under a 100 hours playing this and did a replay of 2018 right before Ragnarok released and both games back to back were simply phenomenal!

@BoldAndBrash I'll get it at some point next year. Got to get through the ever expanding backlog.

@Max_the_German everything about it is better than the first game, I enjoyed the story but it's 50/50 whether you'll like it or not. it suffers from being the middle part of a story!

@Majk_SVK I loved the game but I think we could have spent more time with the Far Zenith crew to get to know them better they were pretty one dimensional.

Saying that though I love the series and can't wait for Burning Shores and Horizon 3😀

@residentsteven that's fair enough with GOW and Horizon. Not every game is for every gamer but I wouldn't call it a terrible list if I didn't know the games I'd look into them more and maybe discover a hidden gem/classic!

@residentsteven You can't really call it a terrible list if you haven't played any of the games. Streets of Rage 4 is great though I'll give you that, need to jump back into it myself!

@Sevenifity Ender Lillies is fantastic, I got the platinum in no time at all it was so enjoyable.

Picked up Sword of the Vagrant for £8 on switch enjoying it so far but combat is pretty bare bones to begin with.

Great list, I need to play The Stanley Parable and Cult of the Lamb. Have no real interest in GT7 as I hardly touched GT Sport (prefer arcade/kart racers) but the top 2 are both phenomenal games in my opinion and either of them could take the top spot!

Unless it's an absolute must play going for next to nothing, I can't possibly add any more to the backlog.

I'm staying at my in-laws this weekend, but if I get time on Sunday I'll be finishing up Sonic Frontiers for the platinum. Just 3 trophies left to go!

@Hindenburg I'm 40 and the Persona games are excellent. I'm not into Harry Potter but I have relatives in their 60's who are daft for it.

Top 5 games are Guilty Gear Strive, Horizon Forbidden west, Trails of Cold Steel 2, God of War Ragnarok and Yakuza 5.

Fantastic game. They've took Sonic and mixed in some Nier Automata and Shadow of the Colossus.

They just got another sale, my sister wanted ideas for a game to get my brother in-law.

Will COD even still be a thing in 10 years? I don't play them myself. I do have the ones through PS+ but never booted them up, always something more interesting to play.

Getting tired of hearing about these companies fighting over the game.

Looking forward to more HFW, I didn't think the story was bad at all, it certainly wasn't perfect, the bad guys could have been fleshed out more but we knew they were out there from playing the first game, I'd love some DLC and can't wait for the 3rd game

That is crazy considering I now have 7 soon to be 8 nieces and nephews. 25 year old me had it good just gaming and binge drinking at the weekends. where as now those leeches are taking all my cash, especially at this time of year. Love them really 😂

I'm loving all the remasters and remakes of games I've missed out in the past, especially in the JRPG variety. So much great stuff to get through!

Looking forward to this game. Will watch the awards to see what else might be unveiled.

@LBIGFELLA didn't know Returnal and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart were on PS4.

I'm sure the other games do run just fine. But I'll happily take the non existent loading and graphical options, the Dualsense is a far better pad to play these games with as well.

Patience and the landslide of PS5 only games will come!

Just watching the credits in GoWR what an utterly amazing game, never thought a game about god's beating the crap out of each other could be so beautiful and touching. Best duology in gaming as I played them back to back.

Still plenty to do but I must be around the 70 hour mark with quite a few trophies remaining.

@Korgon that might change once you finish the story but without knowing where you are I'm not so sure. I've spent a large chunk of time just exploring but I entered the final stretch last night!

51 hours in and no problems here. will probably finish the main story this weekend. Really enjoying the sidequests

@Korgon I suppose it depends where you are in the story as that is spectacular and the first game was basically a prologue to what's unfolding in Ragnarok. The side missions are so good they could be games on their own, one realm in particular is just outstanding in my opinion. Combat is improved upon and I'll not say much else as I won't spoil it for anyone and I've yet to finish the game but it's a 10/10 from me!

I put 8 hours into stray and it was fun, perfect length and lovely wee story.

I put 140 hours into Horizon Forbidden west and loved it. Could have fleshed out the "villains" a bit more but excited for the next game with the real villian and more Sylens.

Currently 51 hours into Ragnarok and really want to kill Odin after what just went down and the side content is up there with Forbidden west and Witcher 3 for me.

Meanwhile Elden Ring has sat on the shelf unplayed, Hopefully get to it soon though.

Sorry for the long post but at the end of the day it's all subjective with entertainment. Everyone will feel differently about stories and how long you are doing the same thing for over and over.

As gamers we are all winners unless you are a miserable sod, but it's ok to not like everything and have different opinions. Awards don't mean anything to us they are for the creators!

@Flaming_Kaiser they will keep you busy, I enjoyed R&C and Death Stranding, the Nioh games are still in the backlog. Have fun!

I'm in an area in the game just now that feels like a game in itself. Sidequests are awesome but I really can't wait to see where the story goes now that I've reached a certain point!

Ragnarok. Absolutely phenomenal, love the whole package just taking my time with it. Action packed from the get go and so many fantastic moments so far. This game has everything. Jaw dropping Boss fights, Jump scares (at least for me😂). Improved combat & traversal quiet moments that make me well up and a rousing score. Having replayed GOW 2018 recently and reading Norse mythology even enhances the game even more so!

I haven't had plus since I moved house back in August, I miss not being able to have matches of Guilty Gear, but I have a huge backlog to get through so no need for it really. Be great if Guilty Gear didn't need plus for online!
