If you're feeling the pinch this month, you have more options than ever to play some games for free. Whether you're up for some superhero slugging or just fancy dressing up all pretty, you can check out some cool new games without breaking open the wallet. Can't argue with that!
Aaron Bayne
I finally picked up Hunt: Showdown 1896 on PS5 this week. Very excited to try this one out.
Echo Apsey
I'm going to be juggling both Path of Exile 2 and Marvel Rivals this weekend after playing the former ahead of release and the latter during July's PS5 beta. Fingers crossed the servers for both can hold up.
Robert Ramsey
All this excitement for Path of Exile 2 has got me weighing up an early access buy-in — but I can't commit just yet, because I still need to play through Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred! So, the plan is to try and get that squared away on what is supposed to be a very stormy weekend. Perfect gaming weather.
Scott McCrae
Still plucking away slowly at Metaphor ReFantazio. Although the prospect of a new MachineGames joint may have me defecting to Xbox this weekend.
Simon Fitzgerald
It’s a free to play weekend for me as I’ll be checking out Infinity Nikki, My First Gran Turismo, and Marvel Rivals. Let’s hope at least one of them can entertain me for the weekend.
Stephen Tailby
I'll be focusing on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind this weekend, with a review to follow soon. If I get any extra time, I'm curious to take Marvel Rivals for a spin as well.
That's all from us this time, but how about you? What PS5 and PS4 games are keeping you busy this weekend? Please let us know, as always, in the comments section below.

This weekend I will juggle between some games I don't have much progress in Ocarina of Time 3D and Castlevania 64.
And in the meantime, I will play Circle of the Moon and Resident Evil 4 Remake
Happy gaming everyone!!!
I’m going to play a bit of the fantastic Nostalgia-fest which is Lumo. It’s my Christmas game and brings back loads of Spectrum memories (it’s an isometric platform / adventure with loads of nods to the microcomputer era).
Also a bit of Blasphemous 2, getting near the end. Slowly enjoying Lies of P to, but I think I still prefer LotF.
I’m also playing a bit of Arizona Sunshine while it’s very windy and grey here in the UK, or as I call it Always Sunny in VR-adelphia.
Have a great weekend Folks!
Breakpoint and Balatro (still trying to get past that darn blue chip difficulty)
Sunday will be Silent hill 2, wondering around the hospital looking for the answer to the pool room. I forgot that you can combine things lol so I’ve worked it out but can’t play till tomorrow.
Enjoy your gaming weekend people!
I’m about 3 hours in to Death Stranding and I think this could be my new obsession. I love everything about it so far. I’ll be playing it every chance I can get this weekend
I’ve been trying to catch up on the big gaming series’ that I’d missed since getting back into gaming a few years back. Yakuza is one of those and while I didn’t fully click with Kiwami when I played that a few years back, I’m starting Kiwami 2 this weekend. Really hoping I connect with it this time 🤞.
Infinity Nikki... I'm feeling the need for charm and wholesomeness and this game has it in spades! I was going to dive into the new Honkers content but the missing voice lines are driving me bonkers so I'll put that off until they get it sorted.
Infinity Nikki. Really enjoying the laid back colourful cozy nature of it, especially seen as there's a storm raging outside. Bit disappointed you can't invert the Y axis tho, but hopefully it will get patched at some point.
If I can drag my self away from Miraland then hopefully crack on with some dragon age the veilguard which I'm also enjoying
Heavily into WoW The War Within on PC. This is outstanding, the best WoW expansion since Legion. The new changes such as soloable delves and dungeons is a game changer.
Loving Black Ops 6 too, by far the best CoD in years- fantastic campaign and the multiplayer is as peerless as ever, as long as you ignore the ridiculous skins !
Will continue with the excellent DOA The Veilguard - not far off fully completing it now I think, here's to the Plat popping soon I hope !
I'll also find a bit of time for Diablo 4 Veil of Hatred which is again another stunning expansion. I'll get hated for saying this but ActiBlizz having a good year with the quality of their output
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
Metaphor has me hooked and still taking my time with Silent Hill 2. I'm ready to go on Monday for a certain big release on Xbox
Life has been Life-ing so I haven't even played anything yet this week. I've conceded that this year I will break my 9 Year streak of at least 1 platinum trophy a year 😔. So Im hoping to just enjoy playing some Unicorn Overlord &Sparking Zero sometime tomorrow.
Happy gaming everyone.
SYNAPSE for psvr2 for me. One that I never got round to when it came out but now it's on ps plus premium and it's really amazing!
Gran Turismo 7 (PS5) & Phantasy Star 4 (retro handheld), having a fuel-filled break from LoH:ToCS. 😁
On PS5 i will be playing YS X Nordics, just reached chapter 9 and this could be my favourite YS game so far. I will also be playing some Trails Through Daybreak which I need to get done soon as the sequel is out in a couple of months.
On Portal I have decided to play some classic games using the streaming mode whilst the misses uses the PS5 for Infinity Nikki, I have decided to start with Tomb Raider Legend and so far its been very good and no issues with lag.
On Switch I will be playing Mario and Luigi Brothership, I've had it on hold the last 2 weeks as I was feeling burnt out on the combat but nows the time to jump back in.
Infinity Nikki, Nine Sols, and Metaphor for me. I’m really tempted to join EA for POE2 but the unexpected server overload has me waiting to purchase and dive in until that is sorted.
Enjoy your weekend everyone and may it be blessed!
My main game is Flashback 2. I can see why it reviewed poorly, but I'm liking it enough that it's not a chore to play. I'll also be playing co-op Grounded and dipping into Infinity Nikki and Path of Exile 2.
@QualityGeezer oh no, why in the seven hells would they not allow y-axis to be inverted?! Especially in a game based on photography. I was going to download this to check out, but this has me shook 😭
Paper Mario & thousand year door for me... if I get a chance.
I'm in the middle of Sniper Elite 3 having finished V2 last weekend.
If you like more old school type gaming with some pretty forgiving stealth I can heartily recommend both.
I have also just found out that Baldur's Gate 3 is very much not for me....
I need to commit to finishing Hogwarts Legacy this weekend, not sure if I can get it done, but hopefully I will make time for it. Snowmen, beware!
Then I can happily move on to Indiana Jones some point next week
After finishing P3 Reload I can finally dive in Metaphor for good, though I doubt I can finish it this year.
Also started Infinity Nikki, love how it looks and sounds, don't love how it gates story progression behind daily missions, hope this is the issue only in the beginning the game itself if very pleasant, reminds me of Super Mario Odyssey, only with larger areas.
Also playing Nine Sols through gamepass and have to say, I really don't feel 9/10 and "best metroidvania". Story and lore are really good, but I can't say the same about gameplay, too little platforming, too much samey fights, bosses are good but very few. I will probably finish it, but for now I even like PoP Lost Crown more.
Anyway, it's all for now, have a pleasant weekend and stay safe.
My ps vita got delivered today so I will be playing uncharted golden abyss and getting the platinum trophy for tunic have a great weekend everyone
@Ravix your guess is as good as mine 🤷♂️. Seems illogical not to give that option. I've kinda got use to it not being inverted now tho as the games pretty easy going, but it's certainly not ideal
Epic Mickey Rebrushed: I saw this on the Wii and it looked very interesting but unfortunately never got the opportunity to play it. Now that I have, I'm enjoying the surrealistic shadowy reflection of Disneyland and meeting tons of obscure characters like Clarabelle Cow or Horace Horsecollar.
The paint mechanics are fun too, allowing for lots of exploration off the beaten path. Mickeyjunk Mountain is a standout in terms of design, but I'd be remiss not to mention the charms of Mean Street or Dark Beauty Castle.
This is no Kingdom Hearts; it's Disney gone dark, or as close to it as it's gone since The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and it's supremely entertaining.
Earlier I said that I'd likely play My First Gran Turismo for 5 minutes on PSVR2 before buying the full game. I was wrong. I was in there for a whole hour before I came out to buy Gran Turismo 7.
I finish playing one of the best video games ever made in the incredible evil within.i just finished the evil within the assignment.a incredible dlc.and right now im playing evil within the incredible dlc the consequences.and i will also play one of the best video games ever made in the amazing dishonored brigmore witches.i just beat dishonored such a amazing game.and i will the awsome days gone.i will watch my boston Celtics 💚🖤. And i will watch my Pittsburgh Steelers 💛🖤 play.and i will watch legendary sitcoms tv 📺 shows in family matters.good times.sanford and son.the Jeffersons.and saved by the bell.word up son
Loads of stuff. Trying out Marvel Rivals and Elite Dangerous with the kids. Also, starting Dark Souls II after finishing the first one last night.
Still going with Eiyuden Chronicle as well, which is really starting to get enjoyable around level 40 onwards.
I'm looking for some sort of walking sim style game with a bit of mystery, as a Christmas game. In the past I've done Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Dear Esther and Gone Home. Suggestions welcome!
I’m diving back into AC: Mirage, after bouncing off it last year. Im hoping to enjoy it more before Shadows comes around (if and when that does of course). Also gonna tackle some more cases in Ace Attorney: Investigations collection whilst I hide from the raging storm outside.
To get into the Christmas mood I'm streaming Batman Arkham Origins. Fun game but doesn't run very well for me.
Might also try and start my impossible playthrough on Deadspace.
Enjoy the weekend
Hello there fellow gamers;
On this weekend I´ll continue playing the following games:
Cheers everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
Still chugging away at dragon age veilguard on the 5pro, I’m almost at the point of no return so maybe I can finish it this weekend.
I might try to play something on my series X, according to the Xbox year in review I spent a whole three hours playing it this year and the games I did play were 360 titles.
@Zuljaras Hi there friend.
You´ve got some bangers to play, as always.
Don´t know if it is the very first time you´re playing RE4, but Capcom did an amazing job with the Remake.
Still one of the BEST games ever made in my opinion.
I´ve been tempted to replay SOTN for the 7th time.... Or any other Castlevania for that matter. But there are to many games to play and the backlog keeps on growing 😜
Cheers and have a good one
I finished Maré on PSVR2. A wonderful Journey-like game which I would highly recommend to all who liked the latter.
I finished Metro Awakening on PSVR2. A good game, but clearly shows its quest roots and lacks a bit variety and is a bit claustrophobic for my taste. But parts of it are excellent.
Then I started Behemoth on PSVR2 - very much Shadow of the Colossus in VR, but it is of course difficult to come close to this fantastic PS2 game (which I only played on PS4/5). So far I only played until I reached the first Behemoth. The graphics are good, but nowhere near games like Re4 or call of the mountain on PSVR2. The beginning is a little underwhelming, but then it picks up. And I am really enjoying what I played so far. The game was heavily criticised for the large quantity of bugs, which have been largely addressed by the day one patch, I believe (I did not encounter any, but I also only played a fraction of the game). Surprisingly nobody here seems to care for this excellent game,, or everybody is waiting for the next likely big patch scheduled for Dec 12. I like it so far, and I do not have an reason not to recommend it to people who like melee combat in VR and always wanted to experience something like the Shadow of the Colossus in VR.
@Gremio108 Might I suggest What Remains of Edith Finch, The Unfinished
Swan or Ether One ( this one isn't that great tho)
Journey I guess might count as a walking sim of sorts
I finished Xenoblade Chronicles 3 last weekend and it was such an overwhelmingly good game.
Now I’ll be Playing Path of Exile 2 on my PS5 until Christmas Day.
Finished Doki Doki this week so started yesterday Banner of the Maid, quite good srpg so far.
@RaZieLDaNtE Thank you! I have played the Remake on the PS4 now on the PS5
I doubt that there will be much difference but still an excuse to play a great game again
Mainly Behemoth on PSVR 2 which is very good, controls couls be a little better but other than that its really fun!
Also some Marvel Rivals, which I like and probably will keep playing.
Next week I’ll start Indy 😀
I’ll be playing Blood Omen 2 this weekend, along with the usual BOPS 6.
Started Prince of Persia The Lost Crown this week. It is really, really good so far. Hollow Knight levels of good and better than Metroid Dread in that it's control scheme and map is intuitive. Also some really smart abilities and the in-game screenshot memories are incredible.
Weaknesses so far are the terrible Voice Acting (seriously can we stop with the british accents which have entered gaming now?), and Blender style art. Music is nothing to write home about either. These would be major issues for me but the game plays so well that I can overlook these things.
So far this is the most fun I've had with a Ubisoft game since the fantastic and underrated WD2, Child of Light and Rayman Legends (huh two of these are side scrollers maybe we found Ubis strength).
Fallout 3
Still going and still enjoying it. I'm not sure how far along I am, but I'm glad to be making solid progress and rectifying a mistake of the past when I never came close to finishing this.
PS5 - Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, Shadows of the Damned Hella Remastered and Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection
@playstation1995 Dishonored, The Evil Within and Days Gone. All three incredible games!
I’m playing Stalker 2 and it is amazing. I restarted two times because I felt as if I wasn’t getting a good grasp on how the game should be played, and I was making poor decisions. After watching a few basic tutorials on inventory management and learning the ropes from my initial playthroughs, I feel as if I understand how the game works. It’s such an incredible experience, and one of the most immersive games I’ve ever played. I know this might sound blasphemous, but it really has scratched that Fallout RPG itch.
The open world also heavily reminds me of Red Dead Redemption 2. There is wildlife out and about (mutants in this case) and people going about their lives. You don’t always know if they are good guys or enemies. But patience is a virtue in that regard. And how you stumble upon side quests organically by exploring and finding new locations to unearth, it has that same feeling of immersion.
It’s just a damn good game.
Just started a 10th playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077. Corpo Valerie.
Probably dying a lot on Fortnite OG.
Approaching end game of veilguard after 150 hours playtime.
I have so many other titles to play, but my head has been turned by indy to the point where I'm about to buy 3 months GP (£22 cheapest I've found) just to play it. Looking forward to trying it.
I probably shouldn't admit this in public, but I want to try a bit of Infinity Nikki too...
Whatever you are playing this weekend, I hope you have fun!
Still playing Nioh 2 and loving it. Might take me ~80 hours to do all the main and sub missions but I'm over halfway now
Left 4 Dead 2 with VR mod and DoA characters for aesthetic purposes:
Marvel Midnight Suns with my incredible character, Chuck Fabio Norris:
For this weekend, I'm planning to take some break from gaming. I feel kinda burnout from video games. So, i will used this break to clean up my room & house because they looks pretty messy.
After this break, i'm probably gonna continue playing Alien: Dark Descent and The Legend of Dragoon. Already finished Alien prologue a few days ago and at the 1st town which honestly i feel quite overwhelm with how many gameplay mechanics they showed. As for Legend of Dragoon, i'm at the Lohan carnival after Shana's recovered from the dragon poison.
Have a good weekend everyone 🍻
@breakneck. Definitely i agree with you.evil within.dishonored and days gone are incredible.im close to finish all 3 games also.word up son
Elder Scrolls Online and Jedi: Survivor. Have so many games that still need attention though.
Going to try to blast through Nine Sols before Indy comes out, but let’s be real: Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic is out on the Switch and I’m there for that. I’ve still yet to beat Dragon Quest 3’s Remake as well. I did download Infinite Nikki and played a whopping 15 minutes of that so far. And there’s the shadow of Stalker 2 in the background as well, I suppose. Jeez, too many games in a short period of time, been a while since I had to juggle like this.
I’ll be dropping all other games for Indy next week though.
Busy busy weekend ahead. If I play at all, it will be finishing up Alan Wake and the fantastic Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
That's a big IF. Wind and Truth came out yesterday, so my free time will likely be consumed with reading until that 1,300 page behemoth is finished.
“Free for all” Nice. 👍
A few Nikki’s but I didn’t see a single Marvel Rivals. And only 1 Fortnite OG (b/c you all be too embarrassed to admit it 😂)
Nikki and Fortnite BR for me. And a lot of Netflix before my month ends next week. But not to much football b/c nobody wants to watch the Jets or the Giants.😝
(My new) PS VR2: I was playing Horizon, but got addicted to Puzzling Places in the meantime.
Series X: In the middle of Lies of P, but checking out The Quarry in between since it will get delisted. I don’t think it will be my kind of game though.
PS5: Nothing for a while. My priority is my humongous Game Pass backlog at the moment.
I'm currently going through some of my backlog PS5 games on the base system, starting with Soul Hackers 2, mostly playing it on the Portal.
I'll probably go back to Hogwarts Legacy to check out the update and get the Platinum on PS5 Pro.
Nothing much on Switch, Series X, or Steam Deck OLED at the moment
Have a great weekend, everyone. And happy gaming!
I haven't gamed properly in ages, now I'm finding myself playing quite a few. On PS5 Lost Judgement 2, FFVI remastered and Nine Sols. On Switch Tiny Thor, Sword of the Vagrant and Golf Story!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Dragon Age:Veilguard. Not as bad as people are making it out to be but not quiet the masterpiece critics made it out to be. I'm still having fun it borrows mechanics from almost every AAA game in the last decade.
Warhammer 40k darktide now my Internet is back up after some d***heads doing work just down the road from my house chewed through the fiber optics..it took a day for them to fix it but alls good now. Have a great weekend everybody 👍
Still working thru Digimon Survive. There are times when it can be really slow. But the characters especially the Digimon themselves make it worthwhile to get invested in the story. The combat is extremely easy and simple still but it's fun enough to play to progress the story. Recruiting Digimon is pure torture tho way worse than in SMT
Gonna keep exploring the world in Infinity Nikki. It's so fun I couldn't stop playing lol. The gacha also seems pretty generous. I've gotten multiple 5 star pieces of outfits already
Switch: DQ11, just made it to Gallopolis. Absolutely love this game.
Xbox: I finished Fractured But Whole. I plan to unlock some more achievements before retiring it. I also decided to jump back into Control again after finishing the Alan Wake 2 DLC had me itching for more Remedy madness.
PS5: Hunting down the final costumes in my personal GOTY Stellar Blade.
Dragon's Dogma II on NG+ and Helldivers for me.
Maybe My First Gran Turismo for the craic.
Other than that I'll be taking it easy and not starting anything new until Christmas.
Path of Exile 2, Infinity Nikki and Marvel Rivals for me.
Astrobot. Some catchy tunes in this game.
Started vampire survivors PS4 version. Already got the plat of the ps5 version but this game is so good.
My first Gran Turismo is now downloading so I Will check that out tomorrow.
Have a good weekend!
I've been play Crisis Core Reunion on my Portal with cloud streaming.
It's pretty nostalgic playing it like this. It takes me back to playing the original on the PSP, except it's on a bigger screen, better graphics and worse voice acting.
Honkai, Wuthering, Rivals, Finals, Frame, Nikki. London weather sucks balls this weekend so gonna binge gaming.
some gt7 dailies sport mode at spa with dynamic weather really enjoying that 50 minute race and maybe some rdr2 and sniper elite 4 or 5 practice before next sniper elite game comes out end January 2025
@Gremio108 Soma, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (gorgeous looking game back in the day, haven’t play it in quite a while) and Firewatch are worth a look. The Stanley Parable is cool too.
More Veilgaurd, I'm absolutely loving it. More Clone Drone endless mode with my son. Just unlocked a new level in Jamboree with the wife so will also try and get a round or 2 in. Still wish it had a way to fast forward through computer players. Even 10 turns is at least 90 minutes lol
@tselliot funny you say that. I'm loving the game and the best way I can describe it is a homage to the best rpgs from the past 2 generations. The combat is stellar
@DrVenture69 @3Above Thanks for the suggestions folks. I've played Edith Finch, and Firewatch, loved them both. Plenty of good shouts there so I'll take a look at those. Obra Dinn is another one I'm considering
On PS5 I'm still trying to finish Dragon Age Inquisition but it just keeps going lol bought Veilguard from Amazon for £35 so I'll start that whenever i finish Inquisition. On Xbox I'm still playing Black Ops 6 and tempted to buy the early access for Indiana Jones.
Disney Dreamlight Valley finishing off the current Star Path and just generally decorating the place ^__^
I thought I'd be spending a lot of my time in Infinity Nikki as I was really looking forward to it but unfortunately I just couldn't get into it..maybe I'll go back at some point but for now I'm still playing Detective Raincode which I'm loving!Definitely has Danganronpa vibes.
On Switch I am enjoying Mario and Louigi Brothership!
Just Nikki, to infinity
Such a joy of a game
Enjoyed Stalker 2 for a bit, but then I tried The Expanse on a whim, as I love Telltale games. Liked it so much I started watching the tv series on Amazon Prime and it’s one of the best sci-fi tv series I’ve seen (only Battlestar Galactica tops it for me for now).
Also, almost done with Horizon Forbidden West. Got two trilogies on the menu after that: Crysis Remastered Trilogy and the original Stalker: Legends of the Zone. Happy gaming guys and gals!
I shall be spending time with behemoth (were's the review) which is fantastic and maybe some dragon age which is also great , ive just downloaded madison vr which is supposed to be terrifying, we shall see.
Toluca prison on silent hill 2 remake. Gosh what a nightmare but i really adored this game. Terrifying but i can’t stop playing. Love it so much
And im playing Loco motive on steam deck
I'll continue playing excellent Silent Hill 2 remake, only 7 hrs in but lost some time with tricky coin puzzle.
I downloaded My first GT demo yesterday so definitely will be checking it out this weekend.
Whatever you're playing, have a fun!
I finally purchased Gran Turismo 7 this week, so going through the cafe menus and licenses. Not played a sim racer for a long time so taking me a while to get a handle on it!!! One track easy first place, next one all over the shop.....
Infinity Nikki, such an amazing game, it has exceeded my expectations. Love everything about it so far!
Currently ultra hard diff playthrough on HZD remastered for 100%. Didn't get round to Frozen Wilds originally so that's been a lot of fun this time round. Hopefully finish off the Hotwheels 2 plat soon as well
Synth Riders, GT7 on my new VR2 and Prince of Persia on flat. Loving all of these games at the moment!
@Nye1779 I’m the same. Just trying to gold medal the licenses right now. Not doing so well. Love the VR experience though. Finally starting to “get” it
I finished lies of p last night. Absolutely loved it - it’s one of the best games I’ve played that isn’t by From Software.
Currently flipping between games trying to find something I want to stick with. I’m playing Rogue Trader at the moment but there’s just nothing out there that compares to BG3.
Infinity Nikki
@KyushuTrail great choice. Definitely an acquired taste but I personally think it's a masterpiece. Just wandering the remains of the USA is such an enjoyable experience, and the story is fantastic
My wife is hard to get back into playing anything, but she is playing Marvel Rivals with me and we are loving it! Been looking for something to fill the void after leaving Overwatch years ago and this is hitting right and is fun and has fair monetization.
Just platinumed the EXCELLENT Silent Hill 2 remake. Was really impressed with it as I had never played a Silent Hill game before. The atmosphere was just so absolutely perfect it was oppressive. And my favorite ending was the 'Maria' ending. "You should do something about that cough." (!!!) Ominous at best, sinister at worst - absolutey awesome!
Having completed that, I've moved on to ROBOCOP: Rogue City which I picked up for $20 in a recent PS Store sale. It plays just like the movie - cheesy and mid-grade but absolutey fun.
I am still not playing any recent releases but I just bought the Uncharted Collection (PS4) and will start playing that, as well as start my season of MLB the Show and NBA 2K24. I need to get rid of this cold.
Infity Nikki!!! Hopefully my internet holds up. I tried last night, but I didn’t want to have to constantly deal with it needing to reconnect. Currently I’m playing Pokémon Yellow Version. But tonight I really want to get back to Infinity Nikki. I’m really liking it so far.
@camsoup1981 Here’s hoping you get better soon! And enjoying Uncharted!
Stellar Blade and MVC Collection.
I'm starting Cyberpunk for the fifth time or so. I know it's not exactly the consensus, but after The Outer Worlds, most RPG writing I run into has been pretty abysmal. I feel like writing in big RPGs is getting worse. I should not STILL be comparing games to New Vegas or Planescape: Torment.
Anyway, I really hope it grabs me this time.
@TicklefistCP that's funny. TPS is one of the games that made me feel incredibly old and cynical recently. The writing was too twee to ignore. It's pre-school level. Like if the narrator from Thomas was Alone focused on teaching kids shapes.
I've been playing River City Girls 2 lately. It's a really fun sequel, I enjoyed the first game.
Also doing some Helldivers 2 and maybe some TF2 or maybe try out Marvel Rivals.
@Puketapu some of those golds are tough, I'm stuck on the final one in licence b, got silver but can't crack that gold time. Making me want a driving wheel though!!
In terms of newly playing - Rogue Legacy 2 had me hooked yesterday. Will try Nikki today. Still got so many on the go though.
Arrowhead made a gas mine stratagem available to all Helldivers 2 players, so this weekend I am learning that many, many, MANY Helldivers don't know how to use mine stratagems properly; my guy spent most of yesterday evening coughing up a lung.
@Northern_munkey Oh man , that sux hard. I'm glad you finally got the net back! Enjoy Darktide!
@Titntin 👍
Still having the off session with the laughably bad UFL but mainly Astrobot. What a game
I’m currently engaged with a lot of games which is uncharacteristic for me. The main thing I’ve been playing is Diablo 4 and as a first time player this game is a blast. So far level 32 spiritborn class. Gran Turismo 7 is more enjoyable than I expected for a simulation driving game, getting gold in the license tests is an addicting thing for me, missing the gold time by a couple thousandths of a second is diabolical lol. Then I bought PSVR 2 and walk about golf is a top notch experience. GT 7 is really immersive and fun to play in VR, and the kayak game looks incredible but unfortunately made me nauseous lol, not sure if I was just fried from playing too long by that point so I’ll try again.
Bloodborne 2 on Xbox🤙
Playing The Outer Worlds (PS4 Version) right now. I am already able to visit different planets and it is just not clicking with me. I was looking forward play a game like this. On PC I occasionally play Death must die. It is fun.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and happy gaming everyone.
@LavenderShroud That's what I'm experiencing with Infinity Nikki constant reconnect issues. Hopefully this gets fixed in an update soon.
Well here we go with another interesting WAYP. The week was mostly the GOTY hunt again. Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor with some Mario and Luigi and Visions of Mana. But on the completing front we did finish Star Wars Outlaws and eh that sure is a game of this year that’s for sure. Love the protagonist and thought the villains were cool but otherwise just eh. Most of the weekend was spent with Emio and Tekken 8. Emio is starting to get really intriguing but at the same time it’s got a hill to climb to impress if I’m being honest. Tekken 8 on the other hand I not only beat the DLC story but got the Platinum Trophy for and absolutely loved it all that is seriously a GOTY and absolutely my fighting game of the year. And it’s got that DLC announcement at the game awards too let’s go boys. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some YS X Nordics again really just chipping away at it tho I’m definitely feeling meh on it as it goes on its villains are kinda weak. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Bakeru and Visions of Mana. Maybe some Zenless Zone Zero too. There are some games I wanna dabble in like Infinity Nikki, Marvel Rivals, Dragon Quest 3 HD 2D Remake and Fantasian Neo Dimension but honestly the GOTY hunt kinda comes first I really wanna beat Metaphor for instance. The wrestling things this week being NXT Deadline is actually kinda interesting. Didn’t think it was gonna be too exciting but the Lola Vice and Jaida Parker match as well as the Women’s Iron Survivor match kinda knocked it out the park. My GOAT Giulia the Beautiful Madness winning was amazing. Next up is WWE Saturday Nights Main Event and that’s hype too. Anime of the week gotta go to Dandadan and Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Yakuza Fiancé and Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions and Ranma 1/2. Still amazing shows with Dandadan being the standout one. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel Podcast and Remap Radio. Most of those actually ended up on the Spotify Wrapped this year so that’s hype. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.
@TicklefistCP Is there a place I can buy a new heart? Mine is all black and made of coal, and hatred.
I should try again. I like to give myself credit that I've let myself enjoy things more in the last couple of years, but there's still a line. I bet if I got my little dude on it we would have a blast.
@LavenderShroud thats weird, I played since release (4 days) more than 8h a day and didnt experience any reconnect. Maybe it was bad luck, or maybe America server? I am in EU server.
Anyway, dont get discouraged it is indeed a fantastic game
@Nekomichu I just have very poor internet. It’s very fun, and I am enjoying the little I played. The camera is a bit wonky for me, but it didn’t stop me!
