It's been another hectic week in the PlayStation Nation, with a new GTA 6 trailer and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach details. Here's what we're playing to round out the weekend.
Aaron Bayne
I'm going all in on shooters this weekend, as I try to wrap up DOOM: The Dark Ages, and some mates and I delve back into Destiny 2 once more.
Jamie O'Neill
I've been delving into lots of Technōs' retro games, and playing as Abore in Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons' recent free character DLC has also had me returning to Arcade Archives Double Dragon II: The Revenge.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Since my skills at dodging are as bad as my parrying skills, I finally caved and decided to consult a build guide, only to realise I'd botched every character in the party. So it's time to apply that recoat and spend another weekend trying to not get flattened by creepy mimes. For those who come after.
Liam Croft
I've got a bit more work to finish off in regards to DOOM: The Dark Ages (full collectibles walkthrough coming for you all soon), and then I'd like to return to Oblivion Remastered once it's all wrapped up. There are also plenty of play-off matches this weekend in the football, so they'll keep me entertained in between.
Stephen Tailby
I'm putting off the finale of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 by exploring any remaining optional areas. If I finish it this weekend, I'm tempted to fire up Mafia: Definitive Edition; the new trailer for Mafia: The Old Country has inspired me to finally check it out.
That's what we're playing this weekend, then, but what about you? As always, you know the drill: let us know in the comments section below.

This weekend I will start a new playthrough of DooM Eternal on the Switch.
Also, such a shame that the disc of DooM The Dark Ages does not contain the game, and you need internet to install it and play it. Despicable
I will continue my save in Singularity on the 360 and play some GTA V as I have never touched the story like at all This will be interesting.
Have a nice weekend!
More Forza vroom vroom
Finally got a chance to get back to The First Descendant after giving it a quick go back at release. Enjoying it too… finding it quite relaxing and almost meditative, don’t have to think about anything just run from point-to-point laying waste to everything in your way. The one drawback is the rng grind, which seems far more stingy than the percentage-chance stated in-game. At the end of the day it’s free though, so you can stomach it… just about 😅.
Maybe a round or two on PGA 2K23 too, which I started this week. I’ve always liked golf games ever since playing the hell out of Leaderboard Golf on the C64… and having a good time with this all these years later.
Happy weekend folks!
I will be hitting Destiny 2 - Heavy Metal hard for the new sparrow item. Then also jumping further into the completion of Oblivion - Remastered for my 80th platinum. Happy Gaming All
Got 1000GS in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on the XSX. Playing through Asura’s Wrath and its DLC on Ps3 atm.
Almost done so I’ll play God of War on Ps3 after.
Switch is benched atm till the Switch 2 releases.
Going to be gold farming in the Bone Zone with Suor Clerici and her Disco of Gold and Mad Groove Arcana on the switch.
Re downloaded Zombie Army 4 for a bit of fun with a couple mates.
And after the Phall last week (which took a few days to recover from 😂) I’ll just be chilling with Balatro on the PS5. It really helped playing it on the switch for hundreds of hours as won five runs in a day whereas it took nearly three weeks for my first winning run.
Enjoy your gaming weekend everyone!
Since last week I´ve finished a decent game and started playing a true masterpiece
Lost records: Bloom & Rage - So I've finished the game, its not bad but its not nearly as good as I had hoped and pretty much expected from Dont Nod so I´m a little dissapointed. Maybe thats unfair, maybe my expectations were to high, but thats how I feel.
Clair Obscur: expedition 33 - Wow, what a game!!! At the beginning of act 2 and its just amazing how good this is . All of it, the design, the soundtrack, everything. Most likely my GOTY right here. If you like RPGs and dont hate turn-based combat - play it! Or maybe play it regardless 🙂
All the recent GTA noise has got me wanting to download GTA V again and just mess about in that world.
I'm going to try and resist for as long as possible though, I've got Sniper Elite Resistance to finish up. These nazi testicles aren't going to pop themselves.
Still working my way through Trails in the Sky Second Chapter. Very tired with work lately so progress has been slow, but that's no reflection on the game, which is great fun.
I'm playing the remaster of God of War Ghost of Sparta on PS3 after having platinumed Chains of Olympus. It's honestly up there with the best of them imo.
Other than that, I've recently returned to Horizon Forbidden West for some post game missions and may pick up the Burning Shores expansion while it's on sale. I'm remembering how much I enjoyed the exploration and combat.
Still playing metaphor still giving me a nice buzz. Too many RPGs so little time 😞
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Like A Dragon Pirate. Stuck on the final boss on Khazan the first berserker
I'll be playing, touching grass and absorbing pollen for a few hours but after that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty it is.
Continuing my play through of Star Wars Jedi Survivor, and I’m enjoying it quite a bit. I’ve just started playing The Midnight Walk (playing on flatscreen but can be played on PSVR2) and it’s quite charming. It’s an easy platinum too, which is always nice for us trophy hunters!
Finally got Indian Jones. Really enjoying what I've played so far.
Also started Zelda echoes of wisdom last week so may have a blast on that too
I’m playing feed the baby 4 and entertain the Daughter 7. Amazing when devs can create something so incredibly fun and annoying all at the same time. 😁 it’s sunny today so plenty on offer 👍 Have a good one you cheese eating surrender monkeys
Balatro. Just finished my second game. New addiction.
Have a great weekend.
Indy and I are off in search of the Great Circle.
Nothing this weekend I'm rewatching The Sacred Blacksmith one of my all time favourite Animes ^__^
@mac_da_man I was disappointed with lost records. Enjoyed part 1 but not part 2. Felt they rushed the 2nd half of the story. It was way better than the latest life is strange but that wasn't a high bar.
Kind of burned out with games atm so I haven't played much this week. Was going to take a break until Mario Kart comes out, but I saw Midnight Suns is super cheap in the sale.
I gave the 2 hour trial a go last night and enjoyed it a lot.
I'll play that for the weekend.
Oblivion remastered first time I've ever played it properly and I'm absolutely loving it I'm about 50 hours in not done much of the story and just trying to get all the guild questlines done.
I finished Oblivion:remastered last night and my poor little fan, had an…..unexpected accident off a cliff to celebrate. Im gonna head back to Persona 5 royal and I might head back into the last of us remastered; as I’ve been feeling the itch to be traumatised. 😂
On PS5 i will be playing The Midnight Walk, currently on chapter 4 and I've enjoyed what I've played so far and the art style is fantastic. I will also be continuing with Monster Hunter Stories.
On the Switch I will be focusing on The Hundred Line Last Defence Academy, currently on day 80 of the first playthrough and don't want it to end.
Oooh let me think 🤔. It's Saturday so it's the usual rally sim evening but I'll probably be playing forza horizon 5 most of the day..have a good weekend folks 👍
I just finish playing the amazing resident evil 7.and not a hero dlc.what a game.easily one of the best video games I ever play. Ethan winters is a amazing protagonist.the story. The graphics. The soundtrack.the boss fights. And the gameplay is amazing.i will continued playing fan favorite the incredible the outer worlds with all the dlcs.and i will also be playing the excellent kingdom come deliverance royal edition.i will watch my boston celtics 💚🖤 play.i will watch legendary sitcoms 📺 tv comedy shows in family matters.good times.the Jeffersons.sanford and son.different strokes.and saved by the bell.word up son
@graymamba the grind actually isn’t too bad in TFD, especially with the Pity system they implemented. I got all the characters (besides Ult. Blair) by playing. But I also logged like 670 hours in it. I kind of fell off it though. Played once or twice in the last two weeks. Replaying Ghost of Tsushima took priority and I don’t have all the time in the world. TFD is still good game though! I’ll probably jump back in when the new season comes around.
Just started Act III of Clair Obscur and the end of Act II really went places. Incredible, that's all I can say.
Atomfall and the amazing Avowed both on GamePass. Not sure what to make of Atomfall....its just ok. After playing and replaying the utterly brilliant STALKER 2 it just rings a little hollow
Have also started the lovely Crisis Core FF7 Reunion on PS5
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
Halo: Spartan Strike (Windows Phone) - In the final stretch now. Then deletion and onto the next game in my dwindling pile of WP games.
I'm playing Far Cry 4's 60 fps update. I was really enjoying Oblivion, but I need to just stop exploring and mop up some quests. It's bad when I find Oblivion meandering in the face of Far Cry 4. I do enjoy most the Far Cry games up until 6...I just have to tackle them years apart. I'm not sure how people can stand playing them close together.
214hrs in and still in disbelief at what a marvelous game Baldur's Gate 3 is. Some more of the realistic and enjoyable EAWRC, and yeah Horizon Forbidden West - just gotta finish this 2nd playthrough.
@Northern_munkey Do you enjoy isometric rally racers or isometric racers in general? Super Woden 2 has a great rally mode, and Rush Rally Origins is great too (tho I dislike how music stops on the track).
I shall try and finish off Expedition 33, which Im enjoying and glad I bought, but dont love in the way so many people do.
Im looking forward to returning to AC Shadows, which I was enjoying very much.
For some light relief, I shall be racing in Forza Horizon 5 on the ps5 pro. Ive put hundreds of hours into it on Xbox, but racing with the subtle feedback on dualsense and racing without the annoying pop in @ 60hz has been a treat, and I can race with my wife who has her own pro and disliked playing with the xbox controller.
Whatever you are playing this weekend, I hope you have fun!
Good afternoon.
This weekend I played PS3 and PS4 games as I did machine maintenance and updated their machines as well. 🤠
PS3
1. Pac-Man and The Ghostly Adventures 2
2. Sly Cooper Collection (Sly Cooper 2)
3. Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy (R&C 2)
PS4
1. LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER
2. Harvest Moon Mad Dash
@LikelySatan I have super woden and it's great fun.
@PlatinumMikey enjoy the game! I hope to play those games in the future!
And as a bonus they have the game on the physical media 100%
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. I will continue enjoying Atelier Yumia. Hope everyone has a great weekend of gaming enjoyment.
@UltimateOtaku91 I like the look of the midnight walk. May have to check it out down the line
A game of pints and sunshine.
Finished Wanderer on psvr2. Fantastic games despite all its issues and long patch roadmap (likely best played after summer). Looking forward to Wanderer 2 (so hoping that many people support the studio).
Also still playing the awesome psvr2 version of Hitman which I will enjoy for a long time.
And then I started "The midnight walk" also on psvr2. Wonderful artistic direction, great music. Absolutely worth the price despite the likely relatively short length, but not a game You would pick for the gameplay, I suppose.
Continuing my play through of Jedi Survivor which I'm really enjoying.
Also Balatro. I need help to stop playing, so addictive.
Downloaded Mafia: Definitive Edition as I think I last played it a few years ago and left it at a certain Grand Prix as I moved on to Mafia 3 instead. Will see if I can get back into it from there or start over at some point this weekend.
@Ravix ....that horrible Grand Prix difficulty has been pstched now 😊
I've just picked up Jurassic World Evolution 2 on the last sale and I'm absolutely loving it. I used to play Theme Park many years ago and the Roller Coaster Tycoon games but haven't played one for a while. So this has been a great mix of reliving my dinosaur living youth along with theme park building and accidentally on purpose leaving gaps in the fence to see if people can get eaten 😂
Atlas Fallen: Reigns of Sand

Really enjoying this game at the moment. It's a action adventure title that reminds me a lot of Darksiders in terms of gameplay/exploration and visuals with a Horizon/Remnant tinge to them. It's one of those good 7/10 mid-tier games that I love, with really good movement, combat, exploration and platforming but with a bland story and characters.
It didn't sell very well so I expect the dev to return to their more popular Surge series again, but I hope they can bring some DNA of this one along too, like the momentum meter and essence stones.
@Zuljaras I played Singularity at launch but want to revisit it at some point. Great Bioshock vibes in that one.
@KingPev Patches be praised, and automatic cloud uploads too. I can probably just pick it up right where I was, and I can't even remember which console I first played it on haha.
All good news for getting it finished this time 😁 I've always wanted to see the story through with it being a Dan Vavra script and organised crime theme, to boot.
Cheers!
hello.
I'm currently playing Saints Row: The Third Remastered on my PS5pro.
I'm aware this game has many limits, still I'm enjoying it quite much.
also I bought Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition because on sale.
I wish you all a great weekend full of peace and games ⭐️
About to wrap up Expedition 33 and hoping to avenge those who came before by taking down the paintress! So we shall see how close I am to the end. Afterwards I’ll do the end game content and work on the platinum. What an incredible game!
Then it’s back to Blue Prince and my notebook.
I’ll mix in some First Beserker of Khazan as well as I am slowly chipping away one mission and boss at a time.
Happy gaming everyone!
@Perturbator yes! It is like a hidden gem! Also the story is amazing!
I’ll be wildly swinging my sword in kingdom come 2 and filming birds in lost records on the 5pro. along with ballisticNG on the personal computer.
I started Assassins Creed Shadows about a week ago and I admit I haven't touched promise Mascot Agency since.Loving this game so much which is just as well as it was my most anticipated game of this year!
Enjoy your weekend all!
I need to push on and finish Avatar, I've pre-ordered Mindseye, so I have a deadline. It's my first pre-order day one purchase since Far Cry 6 😀 I am quite excited and really hope Leslie Benzies is on form.
Finished God or War (2018) a few days ago but I found it so boring and devoid of anything resembling a God of War game (it feels like Theseus's Paradox) that I'm going back to my PS3 to play the original trilogy, and maybe the PSP ones and Ascension again.
Already started the first one and loving it.
Just wrapped up the Hades plat so I'm picking up my long dormant Lies of P NG+ run for a few hours then making a start on Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition. Have a good weekend all!
Going to try and carry on with Clair Obscura: Expedition 33. It's not really clicking with me unfortunately, so I might take a break and start something else. I'll also be playing Forza Horizon 5 and Disney Speedstorm.
It's also co-op night, so we'll be carrying on with a survival game called Oppidum.
Just got to Stella Blade. Enjoying it so far but Clair Obscur is calling me.
@carlos82 Is there a way to just do match ups of the dinos in the PS version? The youngest wants it but I'm not sure he could get on with the actual theme park management.
Taking a break from gaming this weekend. Minecraft deciding to break every version of my game with just one update really put me off wanting to pick up a controller for a few days. Had I not made multiple back-ups they'd have corrupted 10yrs of work. I'm going to go shooting (not animals) and do some off-roading. I was going to try Balatro but everyone tells me it's very addictive. Enjoy your gaming folks!
I'd just finished a large chunk of One Hyde Park (by my favorite architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, I've built almost everything they've built in real life) and Knightsbridge along with the interiors for Rolex, McLaren Automotive, Abu Dhabi Bank. Then decided 'oh a new update I better grab that', now I can't load into my world.
I finished work on the Blackwall Basin exit too (that was tricky) it's not just running in a straight line, the bridge/markings etc are all running on on diagonal. There was a lot of sketching out on graph paper before I could find a technique that would work.
Then also got most of The Ivy built, I had to book dinner to get a better look at the interior again but I think I pulled it off. At the back is The Grandstand Bar, also complete is the HSBC lobby/first three office floors and fully complete to the left is 5 Canada Square (LSEG) that was a fun lobby to build. But yeah I can't build more until they fix the game. I wanted to build the Mandarin Oriental this weekend, it's a beautiful building.
Dodging, parrying and dice rolling in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Baldur's Gate 3.
Still plugging away at Blue Prince, but I've switched to PC after hitting the save bug at the end of day 88, meaning nothing I do after that gets saved. I will probably switch back over if they patch it before I do the stuff I've already done on PS5, although I spent a chunk of time yesterday organising my collection of 943 screenshots
Baldur's Gate 3
It's the game that never ends...
Last week i finished Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, which is a great game. So right now i'm playing Warhammer 40K: Boltgun, just 'beat' Sorcerer (F this guy!) and at the beginning of chapter 3. So far i'm having a blast with this game 🤩
But i'm also watching EVO Japan which is cool to see multiple groups of middle age man playing SF 3rd Strike at high level. Tomorrow will be SF 6 top 8 and i expect some surprise from Capcom....cross my fingers though.
Have a great weekend everyone 🍻
I have been playing Dark Souls 3 on Steam Deck this week, it has its claws in me - struggling to put it down. Just put down the Abyss Watchers and dealing with annoying skeletons in the catacombs…
@LikelySatan there's a creative mode that gives you unlimited resources and by default turns off dinosaur aggression and needs but you can configure all the settings as you like.
My 8 year old can play it by himself after watching me for a bit to see how to put the fences in and add dinosaurs by himself. If your kid is a bit younger, you'd probably have to make a park for them but it can be done pretty quickly and saved to mess about in
I’m on a business trip with the Nintendo Switch and DS in tow. If there is time when I get back Sunday, I may play a few rounds of Blue Prince.
I have the week off work. I'll be taking a break from Xenoblade Chronicles X and playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Hopefully I can get the game finished this week, but with the glorious weather we're having at the moment my wife will likely drag me outside a fair bit.
Finished Uncharted 4.
PS4 - Shadow of the Colossus
PSP - NHL 07
@Zuljaras Looks great, what's your Doom guy holding?
I bought Midnight walk and mafia trilogy on Steam deck sale yesterday. Can’t wait to play midnight walk as many review praise it.
On ps5,as usual MH Wilds with my teammates
I am playing Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and having a great time. I have certainly played better games, but it is hard to remember the last game where I had more fun!
Who knew that pirates would be the perfect vehicle for the absurd spirit the series is known for?
I’ve been feeling burnout with gaming over the last two weeks. I also won’t be playing much of anything this weekend — I’ll be out of town, so it might be a good refresher. And I haven’t got to play much of anything throughout the week, so progress has been minimum in the games I have been playing.
To start, I finished Act 3 in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I’m officially at the end game, and now that the entire map is opened up, I’ll be doing all of the optional content before completing the game. My opinion hasn’t changed — it’s an absolute masterpiece. I would like to go for the platinum trophy, but I’m not sure yet due to the excessive amount of games I want to play that are out right now.
Secondly, I’m playing The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak on my Switch. I played the game originally on the PS5 at launch but put the game aside during the third chapter because I got busy with life. I figured I’d be able to complete it if I play it portably since I’ve been traveling a lot more than usual as of late. I’m currently halfway through chapter 2 and it’s just as brilliant as I remember.
Lastly, I preordered Doom: The Dark Ages. The reviews have been great, and the prior two games are some of my favorite FPS’s to date. This new entry looks absolutely wild, with an interesting departure from its predecessors. This should be a nice palate cleanser from the depressing narrative of Clair Obscur, and the meaty RPG that is the Trails series. It’s time to turn off my brain and rip and tear.
Destiny 2 Tanks vs Briggs ... tanks for the memory's lol
I’ve been really addicted to Lunar: Silver Story in the Lunar Remastered Collection. So I will definitely be playing that. Also putting in time for Fatal Fury City of the Wolves.
@EYEBALL Sounds like you’re enjoying the outdoors lol.
@Lup I still have the most recent one that came out to play. I tried and got frustrated with the 1k puzzles! I need to go back to it.
@Perturbator is this included in PS Extra?
In order to prepare for the upcoming Tony Hawk 3+4 remake, I've started a Bam Margera run in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 on my good old PS2.
Not entirely sure if I'll finish Dark Souls 2 this weekend but I gotta say, I'm having fun with the game. Sure you can tell it was done by the B team at From Soft, but it's not a terrible game.
Anyways, if I do happen to beat the game, I'll continue Expedition 33.
I am finishing up Atomfall. I have finished 4 of the 6 different endings. It has been an enjoyable game to play. It has been nice to just wander around the beautiful scenery and have the option to engage in combat or just walk away.
@GirlVersusGame A DooM trilogy switch cartridge cut in half I had to destroy it to get a replacement from LRG I did not want to throw it away, so I made a sculpture to display it
You can see it better here in this article in Nintendo Life
https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2022/05/random-doom-fan-has-a-novel-way-to-display-a-destroyed-switch-cartridge
@Zuljaras Oh I thought they were medical paddles, okay now it make so much more sense. I bookmarked your page so I can have a proper look later!
@Ravix yeah I.played it on PC in 2004 and it took me months to win that damn race ! Smashed monitors ahoy lol
Lovely day here in Aberdeen, so the Mrs and I were out sorting the garden from 9am-2pm. Been to Tesco for tonight's munchies. I will watch some t.v. or a movie with my Mrs and then some Cuphead & Sekiro. Only Wally Warbles to beat on Isle 2 before I can go to Isle 3 and in Sekiro I'm in a misty woodlands trying to access a temple.
@smythelove I think it is, you should try it out.
@KingPev turns out I'd already beaten the race, despite having less than fond memories of it 😅 I'm not far beyond that section, though.
@Titntin I feel like Clair Obscur starts strong, but the latter portions of Act 2 and the final act make the game feel sort of pointless. I felt like the plot was entirely predictable too. The reception made me question if I was playing the same game, as it felt like such an 8/10 to me. I did wonder if reviews were submitted by some publications before reviewers actually finished the game. With so many people saying it was like nothing they’ve ever played, I was like, “It feels like Final Fantasy, Xenoblade Chronicles, Dark Souls, and a deliberate attempt to react against Ubisoft’s approach to everything tossed in a fancy blender.” Don’t get me wrong, I like the game and it’ll probably land in the bottom half of my top 10 list at year’s end, I just feel reactionary because my thoughts are reactionary against the “10/10, this game is disrupting the AAA machine” hype with this game. I’m glad it’s a success, maybe I just feel that way because AAs have struggled so long and games I liked more in that style have literally floundered and I’m like, “Where has this support been for years?”
As for what I’m playing this week, probably just an assortment of vintage arcade games. Feels like I’m waiting for Doom with games right now.
Returnal and Superliminal!
Tried to get into Destiny 2 this week cos the expansions were on sale but it started to seem like a boring time-sink pretty quickly unfortunately
God Hand for about the 300 somethingth time
I’m nearing the end of Act II in Expedition 33. I truly can’t get enough of this game.
At the end of Clair Obscur but I don't want it to end so I'm exploring the map. Also started the Midnight Walk last night, incredible vibes. I love claymation, and this one is stunning. Another claymation game that came out last year was Harold Halibut which was a delight, might go play that again as well.
I'm also putting off the finale of Clair Obscur by exploring all the optional areas, this game has ben a treat... a harrowing, gut wrenching treat! It is going to take some doing to top the impact this game has had.
Started Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and finished Act 1. What a game, love it so far. I've also started NG+ in Stellar Blade to get the final trophy and platinum the game. Forza Horizon 5 too between sessions.
And when my friends are online we're playing Diablo 4 together.
Robocop. Cleaning up the streets 👍🏻
@Rangers420 I feel for you. You are going to get absolutely crushed if you have done Kvatch. The level scaling will make sure of that. If you are beyond level 10 you might as well start over or revert to a save before level 10. Most people don't know this. It's a total c u next Tuesday to beat the first oblivion gate if you are leveled up. Good luck and hopefully you aren't much past 10
Just started Clair Obscure. Refreshing after a very mid Indiana Jones.
Hello there fellow gamers;
For this weekend I´ll be playing:
Lot of good games to enjoy.
Edit: I finished Chants of Sennaar with all achievements/Trophies. Cannot recomend this game enough.
Cheers everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
Likely taking a break from PS5 very temporarily; I got my third platinum trophy last night thanks to Logiart Grimoire, so will just continue playing Crystal Project on Steam Deck for now (turn-based RPG) until Sunday next weekend, by which point I'll be diving right into Fantasy Life i.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
A bit of Metaphor Re:Fantazio. I'm almost 30 hours in, and I am bordering on pulling the plug. I'm underwhelmed - I don't care for the press turn system, the field combat is seriously janky, and the balancing just feels off. The story is one that's not particularly inspired, and I can't stand the protagonist. I have only continued because it's Atlus and because so many have a lot of love for it, but if the next couple of hours don't change my mind, then I think it's going up on eBay.
Have a good weekend everybody.
@Zuljaras absolutely go for it mate! Best thing in the world! I warn you though the DLC can be quite costly 😆👊
Been playing Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut on PS5 still. Might hop back into HZD Remastered as well. Kind of on a PS4 replay tour atm.
Happy gaming!
Bizarrely the same as Stephen. I’m working through Claire obscure then onto mafia: definitive edition.
Clair obscure is phenomenal but I’ve just come across the first boss that feels unbeatable towards the end of act 2. Time to git gud
Legitimately just playing WoW. I honestly have been bored with PlayStation since the reality of Monster Hunter’s content drought has set in, and I’m just waiting for Nightreign. I’m one of those people that has been less and less enthusiastic about gaming as time goes on as I don’t see it as beneficial to buy a hundred dollar game for 30 hours of content, much of which is just minigames or random “walk from a to b while npc delivers exposition “. As prices increase, the value of games has diminished for me. But all the power to those who just keep going, just feeling the effects of age.
Also waiting for Clair obscur but the shortage of physical copies has kind of killed my interest. Local store are being camped by resellers so I’m just kinda done.
@RaZieLDaNtE They made a second Ender Lillies?
I've horizon 5 on the series X but I'm really tempted to buy it for my PS5 Pro. Just to play it again from the beginning. Love forza Motorsport and Horizon. Both brilliant racing games. Got all the old Motorsport and Horizon games installed on the series X and play them from time to time for nostalgia. Played horizon 2 so much recovering from wrist surgery. I think that's why it's still my favorite.
I have nothing to play this weekend as I just platinumed Rise Of The Ronin and now I’m just biding my time until DOOM: The Dark Ages.
Having said that though, the game did get me in a very Japanese-oriented mood as I’ve always found their culture and country beautiful, rich and fascinating, so I watched the 2024 version of Shogun. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re into that sort of thing. Utterly fantastic in every way!
PS5 - Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
Switch - Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition
Just got a PS5 Pro which made my TV perform better, but I now think of selling my TV for half the cost of an LG C3/4 and then getting the OLED-experience. Selling your stuff before it is ancient and then upgrading your own experience is such a financial life hack.
So, my first week with the Pro is all about finishing up my Hogwarts Legacy-playthrough before my subscription runs out - it becomes gorgeous on the Pro but not fully optimized.
Also, I have tried Last of Us pt. 1 and Returnal. And then .... it is back to KCD2!
@GirlVersusGame Hello there friend.
Yes, it´s called Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist and it´s available in all platforms, including PS5.
The friend that told me to try Ender Lilies as already platinum Magnolia. Said it was pretty good.
Cheers
@smythelove Yes, burnt like lobster now though.
Last week I finished Plague Tale Innocence on ps5 and was really having great time with this game. Already installed the sequel, but for now started Control which is in my backlog for years now. Rn downloading Mafia 2 DE - played Mafia 1 DE on PC some time ago and would like to play M2 before Old Country is out later this year. Atm I'm in the mood for some shorter singleplayer games, not every new game must be open world so glad new Mafia game is not like that and is priced accordingly.
Have a nice weekend and happy gaming, everyone!
@RaZieLDaNtE Thanks I had no idea they made a second one. The concept of the first one was so good, I'll see if I can get it for the Switch.
Clair Obscur for me, with a little Assassin’s Creed Shadows on the side. I had a dream the other night, I was running around in some place I didn’t recognize, then I looked up and saw I was standing next to the Paintress, I was freaked out. Then some giant Nevron started dancing for the Paintress and I woke up. 😂
Me personally am playing absolutely nothing. Sold my PS5, quit Xbox years ago. Bought and returned a Quest 3 vr headset and have pickup up a Bible full time. It's like gaming, reading in games notes except there's no gameplay but reading only. You guys should try it.
That being said, I miss my PS5 and might just buy one back or wait it out to ps6... Any ideas?
@Dynamq You should definitely get a PS5. It has one of my favorite games out right now, it's called "Stop pushing your beliefs onto others."
Been a mental weekend but have downloaded Balatro.
Plus picked up the Mafia Definitive Edition Trilogy for $19.99 in Australia so will jump into that in with the aim of completing before Old Country drops.
