Berserk has landed in Diablo 4, and boy oh boy is it going to make headlines.

Blizzard's been teasing this crossover for weeks now, with previous press releases confirming that the coolest stuff would be locked within the game's premium cosmetics shop. However, it's the eye-watering price tags that are causing a stir.

Let's break it down (with thanks to Reddit user HilltopHood). In total, there are six different cosmetic packs up for grabs. Four of them are iconic Berserk-themed outfits, one's a new mount, and the last unlocks a pet. There's no bundle that gathers all of these packs together at a discounted price.

The class-specific outfits are going for 2,800 Platinum (Diablo 4's premium currency) each, which equates to $24.99. So if you want Guts' Berserker armour for your Barbarian, Guts' Struggler armour and Griffith's armour for your Rogue, and Skull Knight's armour for your Necromancer, you're looking at just under $100.

Throw the Warhorse mount into the deal (another 2,800 Platinum), along with The Schnoz pet (a slightly lower 2,500 Platinum), and you're forking over close to $150, because there's no currency 'microtransaction' between a meagre 1,000 Platinum and 2,800 Platinum.

And so, the cheapest way to buy all of the Berserk stuff is to stump up the full $149.99 for the game's largest amount of Platinum — 18,500 — which leaves you with 2,000 Platinum left over once all of the Berserk packs are purchased.
