Another week has come to a conclusion, and we're already fast approaching February now. What's been keeping you busy in 2025 so far?
Aaron Bayne
It's another week of The Witcher 3 for me. I've combed my way through White Orchard, so now I'm moving into Velen. In light of the DOOM: The Dark Ages gameplay from the Xbox Developer Direct, I've also downloaded pretty much every DOOM game. No idea what the plan is there but I just want to shoot some demons.
Jamie O'Neill
I've been reminiscing with my friend about how 1997 was an awesome year — largely because we were studying in America — so I'm going to party like it's 1997 by listening to blink-182's Dude Ranch, and unlocking Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in the PSP's Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles on my PlayStation TV.
Sammy Barker
It's the Firework Festival in Infinity Nikki, and I'm loving all of the new outfits for the eponymous heroine to don. I'll be spending more time with this cutesy PS5 platformer.
Those are the games keeping us busy this weekend, but what about you? Let us know in the comments section below.

This weekend and the following week I will focus mainly on Castlevania Lament of Innocence! I am playing in on the Deck so I can easily take screenshots of my journey
First time playing Dragon's Dogma so that could be fun and Resident Evil 4 Remake on the PS5 because the last time I played it, it was on the PS4, and I did not make a screenshot journey.
Happy gaming everyone!!!
Absolutely addicted to Subnautica Below Zero, I started it on the PS5 and I’ve just started a new game on the Pro so I’m playing two at the same time. I couldn’t think what to play, and this has really scratched an itch.
Have a great weekend Folks!
Will be wrapping up GTA: San Andreas on Series X and starting up Like a Dragon Gaiden on PS5. I might also play some Trails to Azure on Switch and Secret Agent Clank on PS Portal.
After quite a break, properly back on Metaphor Refantazio to finish off the last palace, spent bout the whole week tryna defeat an impossible sidequest Devourer of Flames Dragon in a tower, the difficulty reminded me of Evrae back in the day in FFX. Still having fun in the dungeons of the timeless Bloodborne. Roaming around the Shadow of the Erdtree after defeating the Consort to see if something's changed. Plus will keep exploring realms in GoW Ragnarök. And of course I'll just chill in the legendary RDRII to see if I can solve some mysteries on my own - no internet help.
I just started Brother: A Tale of Two Sons so looking forward to it. Also enjoying playing as Sir Dan in Medievil 2 on the portal (apart from the terrible camera). I also need to beat the firing range in Robocop for the platnium.
Enjoy the weekend everyone
Switch: Balatro (need 3 more jokers)
PS5: War Thunder with my tank/plane obsessed son.
PC: Eve online. A mates mentioned it so going to give that a go before my curry night. Up the Vindaloo!
Enjoy your gaming weekend everyone!
I'm continuing my playthrough of HZD Remastered
Bit late to the party but started The Crew 2 this week and just this morning unlocked Demolition Derby and Motocross… ****ing brilliant! And I don’t even like racing games really 🤷♂️.
I’m gonna do it, I’m gonna start Metaphor Refantazio. 😤
Hello folks!! This weekend I'm playing Darksiders II Deathnitive Edition (PS5), a very fun game, The Witcher 3 (PS5), as I must continue Blood & Wine, and Star Wars Outlaws, this one I'm closing to end the main story. Here's hoping time allows all plans to succeed!!
@Onearmbandit I’ve got 14 more jokers now, so I’ll be questing to complete Balatro too.
Outside that, I’ll probably continue my playthrough of Towerfall Ascension with the wife and maybe play some Sparking Zero matches with my son. I’m sure he’ll want to watch me replay Superliminal too, so that may happen.
Been so busy working the last 2 weekends but now I'm back baby !
So im on an Achievement mop up on Indy Jones on GamePass. This turned out to be my GOTY for '24. Let's hope it rocks up on PS5 soon.
Im also blitzing WOW The War Within which is the freshest WoW has been in years, it's outstanding....15hrs flys by playing this 😅
More of the superb Stellar Blade too but man some of the bosses kick my ass hard, but I won't rest until I get the Platinum
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
@freddquadros 3 fantastic games on the go there ! I love SW Outlaws
@somnambulance
I managed to get the Madness Joker and unlocked winning run with only 4 jokers.
Currently playing through the Suicide Squad campaign...
Yeah, yeah I know... but it is free on PS+ and there's not much else to play right now 😂
I'm playing the I-wish-I-had-time-to-turn-on-my-Playstation game. It's fun.
Started Citizen Sleeper, wasn't sure if I'd like it but it's excellent. I'm hooked.
With Spider-Man 2 and its platinum firmly in the rear view mirror I can safely say I don’t need any more Insomniac or superheroes for a good long while. If I do get any gaming time I’ll be edging closer to 100% in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, absolutely love this game even if some of the collectibles and icons are a mess.
Happy gaming, friends 👍
Metaphor and ZZZ
@DonkeyFantasy oh boy, navigating Gongaga aside that's a good chapter! Enjoy
My intention is to start Metaphor ReFantazio. What will probably happen though is I'll boot up my College Football 25 Dynasty mode save, rage quit after I throw my first interception and shoot some people in Cyberpunk to calm down.
@Onearmbandit Eve Online will swallow hours and days of your time if you're not careful - it's complex but brilliant!
I’ll be playing Star Wars outlaws, near the end but have some trophy run around to do. Finished Indiana Jones and the staff of kings yesterday, it was fun jank so I’m looking to play more fun jank, blue stringer, or rent a hero are the likely candidates. Also Luigi’s mansion two.
PoE2 for me as I love it and I'm trying atlas fallen too which is pretty cool so far. Have a great weekend folks 👍
Borderlands 3 with some buddies to finish off the third DLC.
Then continue my replay of Dragon Age 2 (the not-so-secret best one) Just finished the storyline about Hawke's mum... so I'm not okay, thanks for asking.
Then I'll probably play some more Stellar Blade... which I am absolutely loving!
I'm back in JRPG mode, starting with Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance!
Never thought I'd be grinding my teeth on Ninja Gaiden 2 on max difficulty agan, but here I am! And tomorrow I'll finally go to see Sonic 3.
Ive got a fiber connection since this week and tried it out with downloading some games.
Sackboy. Played two levels. It's Fun but not not astrobot Fun
Sayanora sweet hearts. Nice rhythm game with some good music although I am a metalhead.
Arma Reforger. This week I started to steal enemy radio's so I can hear what they are up to.
Love to set up ambushes for the enemies logistics runs.
Have a great weekend.
@KingPev Yeah man! It's great, quite immersive!! I love the Star Wars universe, my favorite franchise of all time! This game is so full of exploration that I spend hours upon hours just roaming in the planets, searching secrets. A better game than the critics said.
Nothing, working looking forward to Sniper Elite Resistance unlocking in a few days though
Still got this cold/virus/cough that I have had since end of December so when I feel up to it I get some gaming in.
Dragon Age is still taking up most of my game time along with some Stardew Valley but last night I started Judgement which I got for cheap.
@DonkeyFantasy i literally just started chapter 9 now too 🤣. Really enjoying it so far, took a bit to get into but deep in now. Mainly concentrating on main mission and the odd side quest.
@Ghostwolf_87 Screw the haters, I will play the Suicide Squad campaign too!! Just not now, there are some games I need to clear 1st.
Just finished Silent Hill 2 remake. What a remake. I adored it. One of the most terrifying game i ever played after Resident Evil 7. Planning to unlock more endings but i might take a break from it as it give me a bad anxiety and sorrow feeling lol.
Might start Resident evil 4 remake or perhaps continue Alan wake 2 lake house dlc.
On Steam deck,im just finished Yuppie psycho. Im hooked with the quality. Amazing game. And continue Zelda The Wind Waker HD. Really love this zelda. Especially the art style. Just cute and gorgeous
Several things:
Sonic Frontiers which is a good popcorn-flick game, or whatever the gaming equivalent is, perhaps Doritos and Mt. Dew?
Silent Hill 2 is another great game, but also makes me feel drained from the tension after each session.
Lastly, I’ve thrown The Ascent into the mix to relax and shoot some cyberpunk dystopian beings in as well.
I’m sure I’ll find something else to mix in as Ninja Gaiden’s stealth drop has me real tempted.
I’ve been focusing on The Plague Tale Requiem - whats surprising me, having played it once at release, is how good it is. Even if I remember the story, if not all the details, its really gripping me again. Amazing!
I will be continue playing the incredible instant classic crisis core final fantasy 7 the reunion.i will also continue playing one of the best video games ever made and the best video games franchises ever next to god of war in the excellent.grand theft auto 3.i will also continue playing one of the best jrpgs ever made in the amazing ys lacrimosa of dana.i will also continue playing one of the best video games ever made in the phenomenal bioshock infinite.i will also continue playing fan favorite instant hit the wonderful the legend of heroes trial of cold steel.and i will continue playing one of the best rpgs ever in the awsome yakuza like a dragon.i will watch my boston Celtics 💚🖤 play.i will be watching legendary sitcoms tv 📺 shows in the Jeffersons.good times.sanford and son.different strokes.and saved by the bell.word up son
Still getting through the Uncharted series. Platinumed Uncharted 2, completed it's brutal difficultly which is no joke. Now just gotta complete it's speed run. Then onto Uncharted 3. Working towards Uncharted 4 being my 75th platinum. Happy Gaming All.
Yes, Preston Garvey, I will go and help another settlement. Because I'm having such a good time running around shooting things that even my tolerance for your busybodying is high.
I put Okami HD 3rd act on hold so i can focus to finish Wild Arms 3. Right now i'm back at Humphrey' Peak after done with Gemstone Cave. My team lvl at 21 and the enemies are getting tougher while heal & revive items are getting rare. Good thing there's a secret garden where i can plant heal and revive item.
And I have some complaint with WA 3 story plot. Like why i must keep fighting Janus Cascade over and over and over? Can the guy just die already?! At first he was fun to fight especially with his party. But after fight him for the 4th or 5th time where he got demon buff and can deal mad damage with just one move, it became a fking chore.
I also dislike where you must beat the boss in the battle but in the cutscenes you lost to that boss. Like why? What's the point of beating the boss if in the end you still lost? sigh :/
Have a good weekend guys 🍻
I had been playing Rivals all week but having run out of challenges, my interest is waning until the new characters or season info is out - so I thought I’d give Apex a go having never tried it.
I may also start Ragnarok now it’s on Plus!
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Retrorealms: Ash vs Evil Dead and Gladius thanks to backwards compatibility on Xbox.
Finished Indika last night which was a very strange but enjoyable game!
I am going to be starting Black Myth Wukong this weekend and can't wait!
Happy gaming folks
I’ve made the very grown up decision of completing a side quest IRL and having to interact with people 😂. Apart from that I’m replaying AC:Brotherhood to chase for that platinum and I’m having great joy shouting at Ezio as he feels so slow, during the timed missions.
On PS5 trying to get back into Visions of Mana and maybe finish Sniper Elite 5. On Xbox I'm nearly finished Indiana Jones and I'll probably play some Black Ops 6. Indy is fantastic but I've ran into some bugged achievements near the end of the game which is annoying.
Driving swords where they should never be driven... in: Kingdom Come: Deliverance
I'm playing Warhammer Space Marine 1, Persona 3 Reload, Star Wars Outlaws and Indiana Jones
I'm nearing another end of Cyberpunk 2077. After that, I'm gonna finish off an old save of Kingdom Come Deliverance so that I'm fresh for Henry's return in Feb.
Can't stand anything anime (bleh). I'll be playing mostly D4 new season and a little bit of CP77 Phantom Liberty on my PS5 Pro.
@Marquez
Complex is right! I must be getting old as I was completely confused watching the tutorial video whilst it was installing 😂
Despite my passion of racing/driving games ,I'm only on sniper elite 4 and 5 this weekend in preparation for resistance next Thursday, absolutely love this series ,loads of replayability and never gets old
Probably going to be spending some time doing some reorganising and tidying and spending time with family.
Build a bit more of my Lego set of Bumbleebee.
Get my daily log in’s on ESO.
Play a bit of SH2 remake, Fantasian and Black Myth Wukong
@Onearmbandit Worth persevering!
After 51 hours I think I’m finally gonna beat Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes. Just got one more optional character to unlock and then it’s just story stuff until the end. There’s so much more to do though so I definitely won’t be done with the game.
Also Raft Co-op tonight which is great, but it does seem quite short compared to most survival games.
Infinity Nikki. Such a wonderful game.
@Marquez
Will do 👍
It's more HZD Remastered for me. I'll try to sneak in some Unicorn Overlord as well. Im 91 hrs in and I want to finish it before MH Wilds drops in February.
I've all but given up on Sparking Zero, I still have it installed but not on the back burner, it's completely off the stove.
Happy gaming everyone!
Still taking my time exploring Baldur's Gate 3 but I'm almost finished with act 1.
Happiness abounds! I made a plethora of changes to Indy (Xbox) and played some last night with no motion sickness. I was really enjoying it when I had to stop, so I intend to play it all weekend.😀
I finished Star Wars Outlaws, but I didn't complete all side missions, so I intend to return as I love the world they created.
Whatever you are playing this weekend, I hope you have fun!
This weekend I’ll be obsessively playing Unicorn Overlord. I bought it when it first came out and didn’t enjoy it because I wasn’t used to not actively controlling my party members in combat situations. However, the more I played the more I understood how the game operates.
It’s the sub stories within the main narrative that really gripped me, such as The Tormented Helm. It was excellent, and provided a very foreboding scene, along with great moment-to-moment character interactions and fun battle encounter. While the main story is good, it isn’t great. Essentially, it’s serviceable.
Furthermore, tinkering with your party compositions, equipment, and wandering the world - everything has a purpose. Side quests are meaningful, from a monetary perspective, along with characters being added to your party, and backstories. You get to learn more history between characters and it all feels organic. Additionally, the game is continually rewarding. There is a sense of progression even from the monotonous tasks, and creates a gameplay loop that makes you want to complete everything you stumble across.
The art style is some of the very best I’ve ever seen. Each backdrop is brimming with unique locales, from vibrant and lush forests, to shining palaces, and decrepit ruins. If there is fog or a sandstorm it is visible within the battlefield. The animations between combat, conversation and traversal are gorgeous, and with the game being almost entirely voice acted, it feels as if the stakes are higher and more emotion is seeped through to the characters.
All of that said, the game is quite overwhelming. The more you acquire party members, the more it can feel daunting when changing out equipment, leveling up certain characters that aren’t getting enough attention, unlocking more grid-base tiles and spaces on them. But that’s also the fun of it — figuring things out. And damn if it’s not satisfying when you discover a good composition of party members.
Unicorn Overlord is just incredible. It has its hooks in me. I’m thinking about this game while I’m at work, thinking of new party stratagems, managing my units with certain equipment, how I want their combat to play out with certain conditions. I’m head over heels for this game, and I don’t know why I had any doubt to begin with considering Vanillaware’s pedigree.
On a side note: I also got the platinum in Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl and Stellar Blade in the last couple of weeks.
still playing mass effect trilogy (legendary edition). finally made it to the third game, but i like mass effect 2 the most so far. i’ll miss when i complete this trilogy, its been really fun
@ErrantRob so agreed with the drain part. I have to listen to classical music after each silent hill 2 remake session. The tension, anxiety, tight spaces and pitch black, ughh. But this game is just wow. I love it so much
Infinity nikki!
Great content this patch
Started Dragon Quest III HD-2D remake Sunday. What a ton of fun this game is!!! I started my gaming life on PS1 & have only owned Sony's systems. So this is my first play-through of it. I don't understand how this wasn't nominated all over the place for remake of the year - they did a beautiful job!! I'm only 18 hours in - will give follow-up comments in a few weeks.
Playing Fantasian Neo Dimension at the moment. Great game with a pretty wicked difficulty spike. It definitely has a little jank, but it's the most fun I've had in a while. Great if you love the PS1/PS2 era hidden gem JRPGs.
Infinity Nikki by day, Castle Crashers in the evening with my family, God of War Ragnarok at night.
Yes I game a lot, especially on the weekends.😂
Funny story, I changed all the button controls in GoW:R to match Castle Crashers b/c those GoW:R controls made ZERO sense to me. R1 and R2 to hit, who does that? Square light hit, triangle hard hit, circle dodge, X “jump”, R2 magic, R1 Atreus, L2 block L1 Aim. Like 1,000 games before it.🤷🏻♂️
I’m playing a good amount this weekend. My main focus is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. I’ve been playing Lies of P on Steam Deck. I also fired up Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, which plays as beautifully as I remember. Finally, I played a game that i believe I’m the only person on the planet that enjoys it, Crackdown 3. It’s considered an awful game, but I have fun every time I play it.
I’ve put my PS5 on the side for a bit as there’s really nothing on it that I’m interested in playing right now. But I’ll be back, soon I’m sure 😉
That being said, I finished Indiana Jones on Xbox, but couldn’t get all the achievements as some were bugged for me, which is frustrating; the game though was absolutely fantastic as far as I’m concerned and I can see myself re-playing it on PS5 eventually, provided they fix the glitched achievements!
As I write this comment I’ve also just 100%ed Full Throttle Remastered (via Gamepass). I remember my cousin playing this back in 1995, and wouldn’t call it “nostalgic” for me as such, but still something that just stayed in my memory. It was good!
For the remainder of the weekend I’ll be playing Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, KONA, Unpacking, and one or two levels of Super Mario Wonder 🙃
Im at an anime convention this weekend so no gaming for me.
J. Michael Tatum is here and he signed my copy of FF7 Rebirth. That's pretty great.
I started playing F.I.S.T as it was on ps plus, and really enjoyed the few hours I played. Unfortunately Ender Magnolia then came out and that has taken over!! Didn't play Ender Lilies, but Magnolia is excellent so far. Recommended for anyone with a metroidvania itch. Have a great weekend everyone.
Dynasty warriors origins and I'm having a blast
I’ll be continuing my Baldur’s Gate 3 campaign. Waited for the physical release and in December I finally decided it was time. I was already a big fan of Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2 so it was no big surprise that BG3 was right up my alley.
Right now I’m at the end of Act 2 and it has taken my 198h! So my guess is 300h+ for me to finish the game which means I’ll probably start my next game at the end of February… (which will probably be a Switch game, either Tears of the Kingdom or Mario & Luigi: Brothership)
I’ll be trying to finish FLINTLOCK: The Siege Of Dawn this weekend. Pretty good game overall but not without a few flaws or frustrations. Other than that maybe a little COD: BO6 MP.
Once I’m done w/ Flintlock though, I really have no clue what I’ll play next. I’m hoping something like Lords Of The Fallen, Banishers or Alone In The Dark ends up as one of the free games next month. But something I actually want to play showing up there almost NEVER happens so……..🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽 ……. It will be interesting to see what the next game I play is.
Pathfinder: WotR. This game consumes my free time like no other. Will probably be my last run for a while...unless I stumble across another cool build. 😅
Hello there fellow gamers.
I´ll be playing the awesome Ninja Gaiden 2 Black.
That is all...... Ok, maybe some Street Fighter 6 online as well.
Have to give my friend @Zuljaras a shout out. Your taste in videogames is as great as mine 😜 Enjoy them!
Cheers everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
I may actually start FF7 Rebirth now that it's on PC.
But I may also do some more hunts in Monster Hunter World in preparation for Wilds next month.
I was experiencing some major gaming burn-out for the past week or so. At first, I was wanting to chase the high of levelling up, then I was wanting something I could mindlessly play while I listened to some Kinda Funny content; after that, absolutely nothing was hitting.
Then, Final Fantasy XV caught my eye for some reason and I've honestly been hooked since. This is my third FF - previous two being FFXVI and FFVII Remake - and even though it's not touching how much I loved XVI, I'm enjoying it a lot. Really enjoying getting lost in the open world and as of chapter three, I'm digging the story.
I'm also considering buying MediEvil II now that it's on the PS Store; love my boy Sir Dan! Hopefully, it's another platinum I get along with the remake!
I've bounced off of Veilguard after 90+ hours. I might go back and finish it another time, but for now I've started Armoured Core VI.
Also, Helldivers II.
@amatmulisha it’s very well done for a remake and makes me hopeful Silent Hill can be a meaningful franchise again. The loneliness and haunting feeling is so well done here.
Got so many new games to play from the PS sale last month (most $10-$15!) but I simply cannot stop playing Black Myth Wukong. Late to the party, but glad I finally showed up as it is an unbelievably incredible game. Working on wrapping up Chapter 4 and making my way up the Purple Mountain.
Some combination of the following:
Resident Evil 4 Remake - on the big screen, dialed in and fully immersed
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core Reunion - streaming on the Portal in bed for some quick play sessions
Balatro - on the Portal while watching NFL playoffs and NBA games
Depending if I finish one of the first two, I might start my next big project, perhaps Baldur’s Gate 3, Witcher 3, Forbidden West, or starting the Mafia series. Have to see how the wind blows. I’m not counting out jumping straight to FF7 Rebirth even though I usually don’t like to play similar games or series sequels back-to-back. But I’m just so curious about Rebirth.
I’ve been feeling the cozy games lately. Just finished Dave the Diver which was awesome. Now going to start a new game of Stardew. I considered starting the early access for Fields if Mistria because my friend won’t stop talking about it but I’ll wait for the full release.
@ErrantRob definitely. Bloober really did amazing job here. Please remake another SH and give it to bloober. 😁
I’m about halfway through dragon quest 3 remake and also chipping away in my assassins creed series replay (currently up to black flag). On Vita, I’m working on platinuming Tales of Hearts R and almost done with my second play through to max out my level and finish misc trophies.
My main game atm is Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes, but I'm currently taking a short break from it to play the Trails through Daybreak II Story Demo.
I'll also be playing some Raft co-op.
Still going through Dragon Age: Veilguard. I'm in to photo modes now, so I keep stumbling on random NPCs who look great and spend half an hour snapping them
@DonkeyFantasy Adulting sucks 😅
@freddquadros Tbh the gameplay is very basic but the story/cut scenes seem serviceable so far. It's a game for just 'shutting your brain off' and mindlessly playing
Still chopping away at Octopath Traveler 1. Also picked up The Witness when it was last on sale and have a few hours in it. Been stumped several times already.
Started A quiet place the road ahead and it's surprisingly good.
Played a bit of Atlas Fallen, gameplay is decent but plot is dull and not grabbing voice acting is very wooden too.
Mat try Like a dragon man who erased his name as looks a good game to give the series a try again
I noticed that like a dragon; The Man Who Erased His Name was on ps plus so downloaded it and I'm happy it's the normal yakuza game with proper combat. So I'm now digging away at that on ps5 pro.
Got invited by some devs to playtest a new hotel tycoon game, so many hours of playing and trying to destroy it for the next few days.
@Ghostwolf_87 Fine by me. No all games must be super complex and elaborated.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit since it was on PS Plus and Titanfall 2
Not playing much at the moment but a bit of Vendetta Forever (very addictive). And a bit of Arken Age, May be I haven't progressed enough but so far it is not really my game.
I had planned to finish silent hill 2 this weekend but I was to tempted by ninja Gaiden so it looks like silent hill will wait.
Microsoft Wordament (Android) - Adventure mode and Dailies as usual.
Gravity Guy (Windows Phone) - Nearly done with it now.
Microsoft Minesweeper (Windows Phone) - This is still a blast(Pun intended ).
It takes every bit of self control I have not to attack Sammys taste in games...
Played a bit of fifa and gonna have a go at resi 4 on psvr2, bet the beer isn't gonna mix with the vr... we shall see 😀
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black on my Series X. And it’s awesome!
On PS5, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black. NG 2 is still one of the best action games ever made. And on Switch I'm playing Donkey Kong Country Returns HD.
Aero Fighters 2
I'm kingdom coming after those beastly Cumans. Kunesh is next. Jesus Christ be praised!
I've been playing Helldivers 2 on PS5 and PC but I'm actually going to start Ghosts of T for the first time ever
Hunting trophies on God Of War Ragna and some serious mudding in Snowrunner have a good one y’all
Plugging my way through the excellent Judgement... Fantastic story in a very familiar setting (if you've played the Yakuza series at least). Not sure if I will get the plat tho as the requirements for 100% of the completion list contain 3 lots of mahjong... And I don't understand mahjong 😅
Fab game and really recommend it to anyone who likes an RPG.
Been playing Ninja Gaiden Black 2, gone through the first seven levels so far, and I’m surprised at how easy the game has been so far, even on the game’s equivalent to hard mode. Still fun though, which is a far cry from my experience trying to finish Turok 2 on Switch -_-
Wrapped up the platinum for Maneater which was a fun little game. Now I have to find what I’m in the mood for next. I want more Red Dead but that 30 fps on console is meh. Still in a history mood and pondering AC3. Or maybe Black Myth…. Too many games lol.
Playing FF9 on my ps5 pro. Lol. Putting that extra horse power to good use!
command and conquer rise of the tiberium dawn mod will be my go to today.........ha ha ha eat this....
Nioh 1 remastered
Borderlands 3
Blasphemous
The Stanley Parable and probably a replay of something else that I haven’t decided on yet (if I have time to after the NFL Conference Championships).
I decided that's again time for some self-torture so started Dark Souls 3 Only in the 4th area and already 11hrs played, as usual beginning is the worst where I spent some 7hrs. This game will keep me busy for next couple of weeks but I'm ready for a challange.
Whatever you're playing, enjoy and have fun. Happy gaming, ya'll!
I’m in a bit of a gaming drought at the moment - not because there’s nothing to play, but because I can’t get into anything.
I might put another hour or two into dragon age veilguard later.
Can't stop playing Banishers Ghost Of New Eden. Awesome story , graphics , voice acting , gameplay. The world is dense and a joy to explore.
Still working toward my God Of War: Ragnarok platinum. Also, having fun with Streets Of Rage 4. And of course, ESO!!!
@Psnfanboy79 nice list. Loved Blasphemous and looking forward to starting the second one tater this year.
This weekend I completed the main story of Lost Judgement and have moved onto a new course in Golf Story!
I finished The Last of Us Part II. It was an interesting ride, started the game a few weeks after its original release and stopped again (2hours in), cause I did not had to much interest in the continuation of the story.
Before I started Part 2, I was playing different scenarios through in my head and I always got stuck on one conclusion and it was the one they went with. So for me there was no surpise in the golf lesson, besides the brutality, but well, it is what the game is known for.
Gameplay wise it is a huge improvement compared to Part 1, it just did not click as much with me as the first one. I enjoyed the interaction between Joel and Ellie way more in Part 1.
Still a great game nonetheless.
I also finished the career in Powerwash Simulator, perfect game for listening to podcasts and I continued to play Uncharted 3 on PS3 and man, it is rough, the shooting remains to be terrible.
Interesting that the reviews still praised the game into the heavens.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, it is not much left. ^^
@Zuljaras Hi there, mate, even though I don't contribute to the comments here regularly, I read the WAYP comments each weekend, and I just wanted to say that I think that your consistent WAYP photographs are awesome.
You and I are both on the same page with our weekend gaming recently too, for example I've been playing the original 2005 version of Resident Evil 4 on my PS3 and PS4 as a way for me to celebrate its 20-year anniversary this January 2025.
I also saw your post about PSP Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles last weekend for WAYP 564, which partially inspired my WAYP above here, alongside my current celebration of 1997 as one of my favourite years in my life.
I actually have a save file deep into the fang-tastic Inverted Castle in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night from back when I reviewed Castlevania Requiem on PS4 in 2018, but seeing your comment encouraged me to start the 1997 PS1 classic from scratch as an unlockable in the PSP's Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles instead.
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles is also a nice 2007 PSP game to have in our collection of physical UMDs, although I'm playing it on my PlayStation TV for the convenience of it on my big TV.
Your photograph of your massive Nintendo Switch collection in WAYP 564 was very impressive, as well.
Great stuff all around, Zuljaras!
@JamieO thank you! Gaming is simply awesome
I am near the end of Lament of Innocence and it feels good! I might tackle the classic-vanias next until my Dominus collection arrives
Dynasty Warriors: Origins still.
Really need to finish this before Phantom Brave next week.
Well here we go with another interesting WAYP. The week was some new games and more of the GOTY hunt again. Should be wrapping that GOTY hunt this week too. Trails Through Daybreak, Metaphor and some Mario and Luigi and WWE2K24. Got to start that Tales of Graces F Remastered and I mean it sure is fun so far if not a little slow. Very cute game tho with very charming character designs. Most of the weekend was spent with GTAV. Yeah that’s right GTAV. Had a hankering to go back to it and honestly was pretty busy most of the weekend so I figured why not. Yeah I got that copy of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD amd GameStop finally got my copy of Dynasty Warriors Origins in but I had a cute amazing like a dream date in NYC so I’d dare say I had more fun doing that then I would ever have had with either of those games. Got to go to a Genshin pop up store in Times Square which factors in later. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some YS Memoire The Oath in Felghana or some of the story mode of WWE2K24. Maybe some Infinity Nikki or even a freshly redownloaded Genshin too. Yeah honestly my super cute super amazing date has inspired me to get back into and hopefully keep up with and enjoy Genshin and it’s story. Speaking on that date I also got to complete my FFXIV artbook collection and grab a Fire Emblem Heroes Japanese Artbook import. Man I really want a new Fire Emblem game ahaha. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, YS, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake and WWE 2K24. Try to start Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Dynasty Warriors Origins too. Yeah I didn’t finish Emio last week like I said but maybe we can get a two for one shot of Emio and Metaphor this week. Here’s hoping. Preordered Atelier Yumia and am looking to preorder Claire Obscura: Expedition 33 and Doom: The Dark Ages too. The wrestling thing this week being the WWE Royal Rumble. Yeah the event I’ve been looking to the most since getting into wrestling I can’t wait to see the surprise returns or debuts in the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches as well as the two currently other announced matches for the PLE that being DIY VS MCMG for the Tag Team Championships and Cody Rhodes Vs Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Shoutout to the press event for WWE 2K25 they’re gonna do this week too as well as the more recent Saturday Nights Main Event. Hey whenever we can see Rhea Ripley is always a good time man hahaha. Anime of the week gotta go to Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Solo Leveling and 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really Love You and OKITSURA: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl, but I Just Wish I Know What She's Saying and Sakamoto Days. Winter Picks are in yeah and I absolutely love basically all my choices but I really love Sakamoto Days. Its like the new Spy X Family. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel Podcast and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Have a totally amazing weekend and of course Happy Gaming.
