I'm hooked on Duolingo learning Japanese. Once my nieces have gone to bed I'll finish my current book. Is Mother Dead. The PS5 and Switch haven't been on in quite some time. Plenty to look forward to when I get the urge to game again though. Also picked up where I left off with Star Trek. Dropped it at Voyager a few years back but feel I'm ready to dive back In. Great game. I haven't noticed any bugs, I'm playing on the switch! Reached world 6 tonight.

My PS5 & Switch already identify as Xboxes as one plays Psychonauts 2 and the other The Ori games.

I was flicking through the t.v. at the weekend and landed on an episode of Birds of a feather. A similar warning came up on the screen at the beginning of the episode. People need to toughen up rather than be offended by every little thing. Humanity is doomed!

@Relygon I considered getting all 3 machines, but not that much interests me these days from the Green team. I barely have time to play all the PS5 and Switch games I own. If the option was there to play their games on other systems, then I Don't have to worry about spending £400 - £500 quid on a machine that would gather dust whilst waiting for the odd game I was interested in. I have the Ori games on Switch.

I got rid of my 360 before Gears 3 came out so I would love to revisit that trilogy and complete it. I ĺoved 1 & 2. Would also love to play Lost Odyssey and replay Blue Dragon it was my first JRPG!

I picked up the Ori games on switch and they are pure magic. Only other game I'd be interested in is Hi-Fi Rush.

It would be amazing to see a proper revival of Rare and their IP's, but can't see that happening as surely it would have by now.

I'll take Hi-Fi Rush on either PS5 or Switch. A remastered Gears collection would be fine too. Loved Rare's glory days and early xbox stuff but lost interest when they were creating avatars and just not interested in Sea of Thieves!

Between the indie scene and JRPG's, gamers are going to have plenty to play this year.

Red Dead is the better Rockstar IP.

Woke is just an anagram of Ewok, just give us great entertainment and put an end to these silly culture wars!

I enjoyed Spider-man 2, that and FFXVI are the only games in the top 10 I played this year. Neither game was perfect but I enjoyed them all the same. Both day one purchases that I played for around 40 hours a piece and bug free so that's a bonus.

@Vega37 It certainly is a word. The top 10 is voted by the readers of the site, as well as the staff. I love that people are passionate about games but does it matter where they place on a list? Enjoy what you play and move on. Your comment has been non-constructive!

@Bertsimpson Thanks, I will try and get through my immense backlog and pick it up once it's down in price.

I would like to give this a go one day. How long does it take to do a playthrough?

@RockLoi Definitely improves with the full moveset. You get uppercut which doubles as double jump. Dash through and shoulderbash enemies is also handy for avoiding attacks!

Haven't played much games this year. Judgement, Burning Shores, Spider-man 2 and most recently Narita Boy. All great games. Hopefully I will get some more played in 2024!

@WolfyTn Same here, a few shows I wouldn't mind watching like The Bear and this documentary but with Disney it's all about quantity over quality.

It's a fantastic game, got the platinum last night. 37 hours played since launch. It's selling well that's reward enough.

I Finished reading Slaughterhouse 5 this morning and have started Of Mice & Men. Might turn on the PS5 or switch later this evening but I think I'm more in a film mood.

How some of you guys juggle so many games at anyone time astounds me.

@AhmadSumadi I guess so, my niece enjoys reading so I'm happy about that and my niece on my wife's side is into Anime & Manga. Got a lot of books that one day will go to the kids.

@AhmadSumadi No it's fine. They get what they want. Just a bit disappointing they don't like better more varied games. They also like football which I find boring, also no kids seem to read for fun these days. But they are my nephews and I'll support them no matter what they are into!

I'm getting my youngest nephew Spider-man 2 and then his older brother wants Xbox gift cards, which he will probably buy crap from
Fortnight with!

@LifeGirl It looks like a lovingly crafted book, and £50 I would say is reasonable for a nice edition which you can display on your bookcase or coffee table.

I've got 5 days left of my essential subscription but I'll just let it lapse. Not really feeling games at the moment. Reading is what I'm enjoying the most and I've a mountain of t.v. and movies to get to as well. I have a ridiculous backlog of games waiting for me when I fancy playing switch/PS5 again!

@Mauzuri You don't need any of those to play games though. Turn on select game and your sorted!

Letting my Essential lapse. Have more than enough games to play at the moment without adding more Plus titles.

Regardless of quality I'm tired of the MCU. I stopped after Endgame. Same with Star Wars RoS, Disney's just pumping out too much stuff in a short space of time to build up their streaming service, which I refuse to pay for. Too many of them already.

Taking a back seat and letting my niece start a new save in Spider-man 2 whilst she's staying the weekend. She did the opening missions last night and was having a blast.

@K1LLEGAL He's a neep. Was slagging off Anime on a post about one of the upcoming gatcha games a wee while back. But yet gushes all over spider-man 2, a game based on a kids comic book.

Congratulations on 500 of these. I've been playing a little bit of Spider-man 2, currently on the hunt for Dr Connnors/The Lizard and got Hellboy: Web of Wyrd, played through the first area, combats clunky but as a fan of Mignola this is ticking all the right boxes and for £15.

My sister picked one up for my nephew. He wanted Spider-man 2 for Xmas, she was slightly miffed when I told her he'd need a new machine to play it on. The cool uncle gets to gift him Spider-man 2 though. So it's all good!

@MikeOrator A survey from last year found that only 6% of adults attend church here in the UK. We love to take the p#*s out of religions, I'm fascinated by theology but you won't catch me in a church except to admire the architecture.

Enjoying it so far. Just finished the bit on Coney Island last night and have been playing for about 6 hours. I will savour the game for a few weeks as I've plenty other stuff to do!

I Finished Judgement earlier in the week which was a fantastic game. RGG are probably my favourite studio can't wait to play all the games that follow.

I've put about 5 hours into Spider-man 2 since Friday and it's fantastic. So much excellent things going on in this game.

My favourite comic character, you can get it for £15 if you have PS+. Slow and clunky is a trait of Hellboy's fighting style so not that big of an issue for me personally.

Just started chapter 8 of Judgement. Excellent game hopefully finish it before Spider-man 2!

This review is missing that second opinion that other recent reviews had. Having both critics play the co-op together, would make for an interesting read from both players perspectives!

On PS5 I'm playing Judgement. Just reached chapter 4. Fantastic game!
On Switch ì've been clearing up DKC: TF and and continuing with Eastward. Besides that I'll continue watching Gamera Rebirth, which I'm enjoying. Maybe watch Godzilla VS Kong as well. Then also continue reading The Republic!

A packed Sunday after spending yesterday painting the fence and weeding our neighbours garden in the sun.
