Re: Ambitious Open World RPG Crimson Desert Delayed to 2026

@Zeroo MGS 3 Remake, Digimon Time Story, Call of Duty, Battlefield 6, Outer Worlds 2, Borderlands 4, Gears of War, Lost Souls, Sonic Racing Just to name a few more. It’s all down to personal taste and just because these games don’t interest you doesn’t mean other people aren’t looking forward to them. There’s no denying that the end of this year is jam packed with games.

Really enjoyed the beta quite a bit. I still enjoy 2042 to this day but it’s hard going back to it after playing BF6. I love all the additions to the gameplay like peeking around corners, running when crouched and also being able to drag people when you’re reviving them. I also like how much grittier the maps looks now as opposed to 2042 where everything seems to clean and neat. Also, while still pretty limited, the destruction is really cool looking when it happens.
I did notice in a few matches on one of the smaller maps that players somehow found a way onto the roof giving them a really good vantage point. Pretty sure you’re not supposed to be up there and they made use of a glitch because I noticed people complaining about it in the chat.

Re: PS Plus Overloads DayZ's Servers and Causes Connectivity Issues

I really tried to get into this game multiple times. I like the idea of it but the execution is awful in my opinion. The world is boring with empty buildings, the looting is lacklustre and the inventory management is a pain with a controller. There doesn’t even seem to be a good amount of zombies. I’ve only played about 19 hours or so but it’s such a slow burn start that I had to stop playing. The game may get better later on.

7 Days to Die is infinitely better for what it’s worth and I highly recommend that.

Saints Row The Third Remastered on PS5. It’s still a fun game today and you can’t go wrong for £4.99! The updated graphics look good too and it runs at a constant 60fps no matter how many explosions there are. I originally bought it to play co-op but my brother and I couldn’t connect so I decided to continue it on my own. My only other problem is that the HDR is way too dark and even maxing out the games brightness doesn’t really fix it.

Long list of games for me which is unusual.

Farm Together 2 - Starting this later tonight with my girlfriend. We enjoyed the first one quite a bit and this looks to improve on it.

Tales of Arise - This is my main single player game right now and I recommend it to any RPG fan

Grand Theft Auto V - Might jump into the multiplayer which I’ve been really enjoying recently. Once you get a business and a way to earn a good amount of money the game really opens up. Plus the casino is addictive.

System Shock 2 Anniversary Remaster - Started this co-op with my brother and we weren’t really sure what to expect. We then continued to play it for 2 and a half hours. It definitely hasn’t aged to well, but it’s still fun to play. Shame all the trophies are tied to the single player mode though.

Beyond Galaxyland - Haven’t played it for too long but I love the art style and the story seems interesting so far. Look forward to playing it more.

Just started a game called Blacktail. Knew nothing going into it really, other than it having a good store rating. But for £7 I figured I’d go in blind and so far it’s actually really good.

Also might have another go on Darkwood. I played the prologue and the atmosphere is really unsettling (Especially with headphones at max volume). Apparently it’s a difficult game though, which is somewhat off putting!

I’ll be cracking on with Cyberpunk which is taking a while because I’m doing all the gigs and side stories as I go. A huge part of me wants to continue with the main story, but I think all the side stuff is really good too.

Also got back into GTA5 multiplayer which is more enjoyable in a private game with friends. At least then you’re not getting killed by randoms every 10 seconds.
