Saints Row The Third Remastered on PS5. It’s still a fun game today and you can’t go wrong for £4.99! The updated graphics look good too and it runs at a constant 60fps no matter how many explosions there are. I originally bought it to play co-op but my brother and I couldn’t connect so I decided to continue it on my own. My only other problem is that the HDR is way too dark and even maxing out the games brightness doesn’t really fix it.

Long list of games for me which is unusual.

Farm Together 2 - Starting this later tonight with my girlfriend. We enjoyed the first one quite a bit and this looks to improve on it.

Tales of Arise - This is my main single player game right now and I recommend it to any RPG fan

Grand Theft Auto V - Might jump into the multiplayer which I’ve been really enjoying recently. Once you get a business and a way to earn a good amount of money the game really opens up. Plus the casino is addictive.

System Shock 2 Anniversary Remaster - Started this co-op with my brother and we weren’t really sure what to expect. We then continued to play it for 2 and a half hours. It definitely hasn’t aged to well, but it’s still fun to play. Shame all the trophies are tied to the single player mode though.

Beyond Galaxyland - Haven’t played it for too long but I love the art style and the story seems interesting so far. Look forward to playing it more.

Just started a game called Blacktail. Knew nothing going into it really, other than it having a good store rating. But for £7 I figured I’d go in blind and so far it’s actually really good.

Also might have another go on Darkwood. I played the prologue and the atmosphere is really unsettling (Especially with headphones at max volume). Apparently it’s a difficult game though, which is somewhat off putting!

I’ll be cracking on with Cyberpunk which is taking a while because I’m doing all the gigs and side stories as I go. A huge part of me wants to continue with the main story, but I think all the side stuff is really good too.

Also got back into GTA5 multiplayer which is more enjoyable in a private game with friends. At least then you’re not getting killed by randoms every 10 seconds.

Giving V Rising a go and so far it’s really good! It’s a survival, crafting, base building game for anyone wondering, where your goal is to strengthen up your vampire character enough to work your way through 50+ bosses. You even have to stick to the shadows during the day otherwise the sun will slowly burn you to death

@McBurn I find it simple yet still extremely satisfying. But I’ve always enjoyed numbers flying around the screen when I attack. With the Paladin life you can block (R1) and parry (R1 at the right time) with your shield as well as dodging (X). You have the basics, like a normal attack (Square) and strong attack (Triangle). Holding square charges up an attack that sends a sort of shock wave out that can hit far away enemies. Plus there’s a bar that builds up letting you use a special slice attack by pressing L1+Triangle. There might be more I’m forgetting or haven’t unlocked yet.

@Ralizah there was a patch yesterday that apparently lets you still keep track and collect items for any side quests or life challenges you have before starting multiplayer. So that’s something at least. It’s just a shame the sessions are timed and you can’t start new quests while playing with friends.

It would be better if you could just freely explore all the islands without a time limit

I beat it over the weekend and it was a very good game. The graphics and story are what will keep you playing as the gameplay is very simple. Theres a few big areas with branching path ways that you have to tackle in the order the game decides but most of it is quite linear. There’s also no experimenting with the enemy encounters as there’s usually a set way to get through them all. Took me about 5 hours but there are collectibles that will extend that.

Ark gets a lot of hate, but it’s definitely one of my fav survival games along with 7 days. I’ve been playing it on pro and it looks really good (Aside from the LOD of all the tiny rocks on the beach which pop up right infront of you). Once you get into the taming and start properly upgrading your base it gets really addictive. We had to pay for a server for MP though because if you host a session yourself anyone who joins is tethered to the host. This means you can’t all go off and explore the whole island on your own and have to stay together.

Re: Marathon a 'Premium', Paid for Game on PS5, But It's Not $70

I really like the art style and I also really enjoyed Hunt. I put too many hours into it and at no point did I think to myself that hunt should be a free to play game. I bought it for £30 and have definitely got my moneys worth. I bought God of War Ragnarok for about £60 and played it once. So I don’t get the argument that any game should be free to play. Especially a game that if it clicks with you, you will definitely be putting more hours into it than any single player game.
