Battlefield 6 is out now, and hundreds of thousands of you will be waiting in a queue.
Why didn’t we attach a score to the game prior to its release? Because, given the franchise’s track record, we wanted to see how it would handle the laund day load.
Social media is awash with reports of the release’s servers reaching capacity, with some players said to be in a queue upwards of 500,000 people long. Until dev Battlefield Studios spins up some more servers, you could be waiting a little while to play.
We’ll obviously continue to monitor the situation, and we’re hopeful this can be resolved swiftly.
This is all a great sign for the game’s sales – it’s already closing on one million concurrent players on Steam – but it’s not much fun if no one can play, eh?
