Idk that reads more to me as basically saying here's to another year of KH. But I guess they could have said something, anything about kh4 or kh in general to give us something to cope with lol
For that price itd have to really stop being a walled garden kinda like what this project helix is touting while also keeping exclusives, exclusive. If it's just gonna limit what you can do with your hardware while costing very similar if not the same as a pc. Then you might as well go for pc. At least that's what I would do.
As someone with a ps5 and pc already, I dont think I would want to pay another grand for something that likely won't offer me nearly as much as what a pc does
Off the trailer alone, this looks nothing at all like pokemon beyond the fact its in the same genre and very much it's own thing. But whether that thing is good remains to be seen
What could they even do with a definitive edition, but I was hoping anything left for frontiers was being saved for a sequel. I'm still gonna likely get it cause this game is amazing. When you just want to run around open fields that actually take advantage of sonics speed with fun puzzles and platforming, this game does it so so well
I mean for a remake cut into parts it was always gonna appeal more to the people who played the original back then. I could've sworn they said XVI had successfully attracted a newer younger crowd
I might pick it up soon. I just finished 100%ing nioh 3, which is my goty and I have no clue what to play next so I might start this. I'm a little scared cuz of the claims of how big it is, I dont want this being one of the only games I play for the rest of 2026 😂
But since I'm hearing the story is abysmal dog dookie, I'll play it here and there just to explore with no rush like I do the open world Zelda games
It genuinely looks so atrocious and fake, but then I've never liked dlss anyway. I always turn off anti aliasing whenever I can and this new version is only pushing me to dislike it even more
I just wanted to know if this is a potential pre order or not, if it lives up to the hype and my own expectations which ive kept mostly in check. But theyre hellbent on denying me that knowledge till release 😂
These games have always sold great and are really great fun but idk why this one in particular feels like it's getting a Clair Obscur moment 😂. I'm sure it's amazing but it seems like another re game to me
I haven't played this since I put some 12 hrs into it when I 1st picked it up, but I genuinely didn't notice the ai voices. I'm glad they're gone tho lol. One day ill get back into it, it was a lot of fun
Those guys aren't even ps5 fans per se, they're multiplat owners baffled that a 3rd party multiplat dev hasnt been porting some of its games to one of the bigger platforms, after saying they will aggressively pursue being multiplat, rather than trying to pull gotchas on people who agree with a console manufacturer allegedly wanting to stop devaluing their platform by keeping its 1st party single player games exclusive
This doesn't affect me but it's sad to see after the awesomeness that was ffxvi. That said, this happened with octopath 1 and triangle strategy. It really wasn't all that surprising another game associated with asano was gonna go thru the same thing
Whereas palworld took some of the same or similar visual cues and details as pokemon for some of their mons, this one literally straight up took link with pikachu riding on his shoulders in the 1st 10 seconds
The demo convinced me to give the series from the start a chance and im glad I did. Can't imagine how awesome 2 and 3 are gonna be if the 3ds game is already a ton of fun to play
It's weird how similar in gameplay loop it feels to the main series. Fight and tame mons, get their parts to build your gear and fight and tame new mons with said gear to build even more gear lol
Finally finished the main game for DK Bananza. As much as I thoroughly enjoyed it, man do I wish it had the same energy and creativity that it had in the last 4 or 5 layers. Gonna finish up all the post game content, some of which amped up the difficulty so much lol
Also started Pokopia, its been a lot more fun than I expected building the different habitats and seeing all sorts of pokemon pop up. And am now in the process of trying to make slowpoke yawn 😂
Still making my way thru Nioh 3. This is likely my goty so far. Ive adored every area in terms of exploration and level design. Difficulty is just right. It hasn't slowed down yet
And last, still slowly making my way thru MH Stories 1. Knocking out all the side quests with my black diablos before I leave the desert
It was one of the many reasons I got a pc in the 1st place. I mean I'm not just gonna drop it now that I have it lol, but if saros and yotei do stay exclusive then I'm obviously playing them on the ps5 and I don't mind one bit
Now that they've established they should have exclusives, they should start making another astro bot and infamous 😩
I mean I could've sworn they said this ages ago which is why I was so confused people even wanted a bb remake from bluepoint lol. I'm pretty sure they dont even want to do a sequel too but I'm still praying for that
I'm tempted but ive only played 1,4,5, and 7. And I wanna play the rest 1st. Plus by then it'll probably be as cheap as literally the rest of the whole series lol
@DennisReynolds yea even on a base ps5 I thought it was great. It's not bad on pc but the pop in, fps dips when im running around solo, etc among other things is so noticeable there lol. Still love the game though
I'm praying my pc can run it as well as the base ps5 can. A small part of me feels a bit of regret getting nioh 3 on pc cause the demo looked and ran so much better on my ps5. Its left me a little concerned for future more demanding games
I'm loving the 1st game so much. Riding on my goofy little pink rath. The locations are actually quite pretty for a 3ds game. Genuinely stunned me how far it's come with that demo for 3. It was insanely gorgeous
@TrollOfWar still additional dev time and resources used to make the ports than to further make the sequel as amazing as as the 1st game 😔. Not that I have any doubt it'll be amazing but still
Everything that was needed to be said about this has already been said 😂. I'm just curious if theyre gonna keep being silent about all this or will they finally say something about all the baffling decisions they've been making this gen
I'm still hesitant to give it a 10, it's around a 9.5 for me. But they've truly got a great formula here. I've always loved the level design of these games so to have multiple such levels connected by a bigger overarching world is so good. Combats as great as ever, and the burst break is satisfying to pull off in the heat of the moment against bosses. I've always liked the equipment/loot system and it's no different here. It makes exploring just a tad more rewarding personally which I appreciate
Crazy how far the series has come from the nioh 1 alpha days 😂
Nioh 3, I adore this game so much. It's open world absolutely works and each time I find a new area I look forward to exploring just as much as I do the combat. Finding the maze like level designs of 1 and 2 while out exploring cemented that I knew I was gonna love this game
I'm also playing MH Stories 1 alongside. The demo for 3 really got me excited to finally get into this series, having had this 1st game in my backlog for years lol. So far you can really tell it's a 3ds game 😂. But it's really fun. Just taking my sweet time completing quests, hatching new mons, and progressing the game
And last, still slowly but surely chugging away at DK Bananza. I feel like im about halfway done but I can't say for sure. This new layer I'm in has a really fun level gimmick tho so I'm enjoying it a lot
@johnedwin I've never played it and it's never really interested me enough to do so. The only metroidvanias I care enough of to play are the 2 in the genre name lol. But ive been trying to get into hollow knight and a few others here and there. I might give dead cells a try sometime
It was just ok. I'm sick and tired of seeing re and pragmata everywhere even tho I'm already gonna purchase them most likely. I'm even more sick of the ones I'm most likely not going to
I liked the brigandine game and Konami making a new jrpg. Mgs 4 was hype, I was gonna emulate it but definitely gonna buy that now. Personally don't like how the new castlevania looks but it's still new castlevania so that's cool. Oh yea John wick could be neat actually
What the hell, sure. Cant be worse than the last SoP and the latest direct 😂. But this time idek what to hope for, a lot of my favorite series have new entries already
Ahhhh I'm so hyped I pre-ordered a few days ago let me in
I'm really glad they managed to mostly pull off the open world. I loved what's in the demo so a nice variety of locations sounds like this is gonna be amazing
This game is actually so good. One of my favorite things is the exploration. Because it doesn't do the climb anything, glide anywhere you want, it actually attempts to cleverly hide collectibles and chests and you have to find the correct way to get to them. The factory stuff is super overwhelming but when you get the hang of it, it's pretty neat
I didn't think I was gonna add a 5th gacha to my rotation but here we are. And getting laevatain in a single 10 pull solidified that 😂

Nioh 3! Admittedly I haven't been able to make much progress since it launched Thursday but hoping to change that
