I feel like this is worse than anything ps3 era sony has ever done and has ever been like. It's just baffling how they don't seem to care how bad theyve looked mostly all gen long
@LeeBB_Art lol wtfff, I stopped reading like half way. I did not see they were adding a whole nother single player mode. I'd imagine that would've been good to mention in the headline or the sub tho
That being said it still being a mainly multi-player experience seems kinda pointless to me. Like when FFXIV would get physical releases
Even a bunch of companies and devs are lamenting this terrible news. There might just be a sliver of hope that they reverse this decision like some of the others
Not the kind of news I wanted to wake up to lol. Admittedly it's not that damning for me cause I've been shifting towards digital for a while now but getting rid of another option for consumers is so utterly ridiculous. No doubt we'll never get any real communication from them for their baffling decision. Just the usual we're doing great and we believe we're making the right choices
@NerdyPaul but is there proof there won't still be multiple different cosmetic shops in the base game? If yea then sure that's cause for concern for the game itself anyway (I doubt most would follow suit even if this game becomes a monster success). But if not, then I really see this as no different than an ultimate edition coming with its own exclusive cosmetics. Which still sucks and has always sucked but not any more so
That just sounds like the cosmetics of other games' ultimate editions just in the form of having to actually walk into said shops in the world to claim the cosmetics lol. And I have issue with it in the same way I've always had issues with said versions of other games. This doesn't seem any more nefarious
Honestly really interested in buying these depending on how they go about them. Bo1 and 2 days were some of the best and I'd like to relive them a little lol
Idk if the carefully timed part was being sarcastic or not cause they put all their games on sale for chump change every other week lol. I think i got the entire series twice between ps5 and pc for about $45. But I mean capcom have said this is one of their strategies for success, putting their games on steep discounts. It clearly works
I need to play more to get a better understanding of the game but that prologue dungeon it starts you with was such a slog. I genuinely almost gave up but once I got past it and onto the outside field, it looked way more promising and fun. I can see the combat and bosses being really cool at times too
Wow ive only played nioh 3. That and pokopia, I think might be the only two 2026 games I've played so far. And both are very much goty contenders for me. And they both come from koei tecmo lol
No one could ever convince me kingdom hearts is bad. Just seeing snippets of this gets me so hyped. It might be my most anticipated even moreso than ff7 revelations
How is this not as hurtful to your sales as releasing in November with gta? Ur literally competing with far more actual threats to your sales now crammed into September. Not everybody has the money or time to buy and play all these releases
Yes anime collabs! Get those nick ones outta here. If nge is paid dlc I'm buying it I don't care. And it's perfect for getting me back into the game after 200+ hrs of fun
That was amazing. Between mhw's expansion, stellar blade 2, and ff7r 3. They fed me so well with this. I've always thought SGFs were worse than the game awards but this one cooked
I wanna be excited but I know it's gonna be another year of hitting hard pity and losing 50/50s lol. At least I get wind lady guaranteed but after that it'll be pain
It was boring as hell to watch but some of the new announcements were cool. Until Dawn 2 in particular cuz the 1st one is awesome altho it did kinda look worse for some reason lol. The god of war game looked surprisingly good but considering ive not touched a single gow game, I'm obviously not playing it any time soon. The Dino game also looks interesting. Overall it was not watch at a theater quality tho
I still haven't watched the anime nor even played the game extensively but I'm hyped for this. I've been in hording mode saving up for lucille and lucy plus their weapons
I wonder what troubled them with the original 12 but it's not like we ever saw anything from it i suppose. The running around the field clip looked gorgeous
@glennthefrog I do think it could go either way, leaning more towards HD2D. Altho thinking on it a little more, 5 had a 3D version already so I could definitely see them doing more of a 7 Reimagined for it. But tbh im just a little sad at the prospect, that if they were to do 2D versions, they'd be more like the HD2D games and less like the DS ports which I loved a lot
Don't show fairgames and just say you're canceling it and that horizon is ur last concord sequel. Then show that infamous and gravity rush are coming back
I'm not sure I agree with what ur saying about the dialog and story at all especially if the characters are engaging and entertaining. I'm more than willing to sit thru every party member saying 8 variations of "yea lets do this!" when i know its paying off. But my problem with team asano games in particular is how painfully generic and mundane the stories and writing are. Even the art style
Is this like the 8th price increase on anything playstation? Like damn do these guys need another ps3 moment to get their heads out of their rears or what
That second quote is sending me. What do you mean you're not buying the massive open world single player game cause they're not gonna add more to their free smaller scale mp mode
It's not that it doesn't deserve the praise. It's just kinda eye roll worthy knowing there's so many jrpgs, as good if not better, that will never be given the same amount of praise or attention simply for being anime and Japanese. It's a great game but in that sense, it really does nothing that special. Yet the praise would have you believe its this entirely unique take on the genre never before seen, and it's just a really good non Japanese jrpg
Does anything happen to games you bought but didn't download so just let rot in your backlog? Cuz I have a lot of those lol. Or is it just gonna do the check when I finally download them and then never again. What a mess
Capcom is taking the spotlight atm, but rn my 2 goty runners so far are nioh 3 and pokopia. Did not expect koei tecmo to pull up like that this year but I welcome it
If anything it has less of a chance of appeasing muh critics. Mario had the opportunity to be an amazing animated film and they chose to make slop twice. Live action video game and anime movies are always bad and the pics of link and zelda don't inspire any confidence that it'll be different. I'm still gonna watch it tho cause it's zelda on the big screen lol
They're really not hard to follow, outside of maybe the mobile games stuff, and not messy anymore now that they're all bundled up in collections. Just play them in the intended order and it makes sense. Whether you like the story being told in these games is another matter. But it has a lot of great moments and it's easy to get invested in the characters. Add to that, genuinely fun action combat and worlds to explore, and amazing music and you get a good ongoing series
I honestly think 1 is my least favorite just cuz of the simple (and clean) story it had. The other games give it that "nomuras wild ride" reputation which I personally love. But to give 1 credit, it had the most fun exploration for a long while till 3 finally surpassed it. It had a good amount of interactivity and verticality that pretty much every other game, except maybe dream drop distance, didn't have
Idk that reads more to me as basically saying here's to another year of KH. But I guess they could have said something, anything about kh4 or kh in general to give us something to cope with lol
For that price itd have to really stop being a walled garden kinda like what this project helix is touting while also keeping exclusives, exclusive. If it's just gonna limit what you can do with your hardware while costing very similar if not the same as a pc. Then you might as well go for pc. At least that's what I would do.
As someone with a ps5 and pc already, I dont think I would want to pay another grand for something that likely won't offer me nearly as much as what a pc does

Genuinely confused by the too young remarks. She definitely looks younger than eve but still very much young adult range
Re: Poll: Who Had the Best Not-E3 Livestream This Week?
SGF by a massive margin then maybe xbox but it really wasn't anything special and last state of play

We know it existed and this trailer just... revealed that it existed I guess. I did like the dark vibes and the logo reminds me of the DC logo

Why does that sunbringer not look as cool as the one in her 1st reveal. And once again zzz not letting me catch a break with all these must pull character designs. I wish my luck would come back 😩. Constantly losing 50/50s after hitting hard pity sucks so bad
