Solid pick. Ultimately I passed on the deluxe edition cause the nick and minecraft characters do not interest me whatsoever. But pac man and mega man are great picks, might buy those 2 separately. If they make more dlc hopefully it's more video game characters instead

If it launches on pc day 1, I'll likely get it there. If not, day 1 on ps5. The rest of the versions don't matter especially when they're the least likely to actually be true physical which now I'm wondering if they're even gonna attempt for ps5 if it's day 1 multiplat

I mean I guess the new content is the main highlight but why not just make new game at that point. And while it does look a little better and shinier it still mostly looks the same. Still a bit excited about it nonetheless lol

It's absolutely stupid to blame the systems price when the place it's selling best on is full of negative reviews too, the game has bad word of mouth despite actually being really fun. But at the same time he does obviously have a point. But that's just in general especially on console

Like I just pre ordered a game for $50 and I'll have full access to all its features that would've cost me $70 on my ps5. And if I wanted to play it online for the year that's like $170. I'm baffled what was once considered the affordable option became so unaffordable. And it's sad too cause I'd definitely rather play it on ps5 on my TV but oh well

Copped a pc key for $50 and it was well worth it. Easily the best kart racer I've played in a long while but atp since no data carries over I think I'll wait for the full release now. But I'm counting down the days man, that was a really fun network test

The Sonic Crossworlds beta. I haven't had this much fun with a kart racer since double dash on the gamecube. It's been super fun I just gotta get the hang of drifting a little more

Obvious after the announcement of a movie so soon after release lol. I wish they had fleshed out the story of this 1st game way better. But I'll take sequels expanding the overarching world and lore I guess

They're churning out these HD 2D games faster than Activision can cod. I'll still keep trying to get into them but it hasn't been working too well and I'm already so tired of this style

There isn't anything Square could learn from Clair Obscur in regards to FF. They made a really good turn based rpg. And Squares pumped out 10 of those for the series. And that's just the combat. The story, characters, music, exploration, setting etc. All the things that make CO good, square is still continuing with FF

A good ways into act 2 of Clair obscur. Still a lot to love about this game. The difficulty finally ramped up here and there lol. But the story is too slow. Practically nothing happened in all of act 1 except the end of it. And so far in 2 neither. The twists and turns don't really land with me as much as they could. But what it does excel at is the great character interactions and chats. Makes you appreciate them and want to see how their story ends. But the most enjoyable part has been exploring the overworld and doing all the side stuff. Really fun

Playing through Clair Obscur still in act 1. And I absolutely love it so far. Great writing, great music, and a good amount of exploration. My only gripe might be that it's too easy so far at least on standard difficulty. It's super easy to parry, even enemies you're not meant to be fighting yet so if you land them, everything is a breeze or just a matter of patience as you whittle down the health bar

I finally picked it up myself and am a bit of the way into the 1st act and its already leaving me in awe too. Easily one of my favorite game prologues ever up there with KH2 and FFXVI

Playing Elden Ring with a friend completely in co op thru a seamless co op mod. Really hope FS tries to implement it on their own in future games. It's super fun

Do we have to support this just to get the better game: the hundred line? 😩

Idk I don't think those my hero arena fighters are popular for them to have this as a like the main star of the show. I think it's gonna be different and hopefully good. But I'm praying to see the Tales of remaster there or hopefully the next game

Not the biggest fan of seregios and its addition here is dampened a little for me as he was already back in Rise too , but at the rate this game has been getting updated I'll gladly take any monster at this point xD. Lagi looks super cool tho and neat they added a little bit of underwater action to it

@Nepp67 not sure tbh. I played it thru extra so I couldn't check for myself. But I just assume you do since a lot of games have simple online menus locked out if you're not subbed

I wish I was. But idk where to play it on, I'd love to play it rn on ps5 but I don't want to pay for online and I really liked the online aspect of the original. It enhanced the game a lot I'd say tbh. I might cave, it depends on how I feel when payday comes lol

It's not something I particularly like to see games do but there are far worse things in this industry than a company throwing in an earlier release date for a game, usually by 2 days at most, if you pay more

Now if it stretches to longer than 2 days like a week or more. I'd be upset mainly cause then it really would be just them gatekeeping the games real launch behind an extra pay wall than what you're already paying. Only time will tell how far that goes

Honestly them pointing it out is so reassuring. A little sad cause it means 1's story will basically stay unfixed when there's a really good premise and overarching story to it. A lot of good story beats that would be even better if they could actually flesh out the characters and narrative

But I'm glad it's something they're gonna try to actively work on for the sequel. Especially when part 2 seems like it's gonna go even harder with that finale in 1

Awesome to see for a really fun game. I'll pick it up on sale. But I've been watching my friend play it and it's been good ol harmless fun. Slaughtering mobs with the awesome combat cause she's really good at the game (better than me 😂). Laughing about the outfits, and just exploring every nook n cranny now with even more to find

Still one of my favorite FF artists and artists in general and I hope he gets to do another mainline entry and some spin offs

And something tells me the last part of ff7's remake will be the last timed exclusive ever for FF 😂. Unless they broke their deal already since the 1st part is now going to other platforms after all

@Haruki_NLI all it means is that the ps5 could've launched to a higher number than it did. And possibly wouldn't be a record broken by the s2 if this rumor is even true

But that said I feel like launch records barely even matter and more so the longevity of the console. What does it matter that ps5 broke a lot of launch records in the beginning if its now trailing behind ps4 in some countries even if only by like a million

Anecdotal evidence here lol: practically every one I know has not gotten the new console and don't plan on getting it and it's just weird to me cause we all have switches. I'm curious to see how it does I guess

Did they really do an announcement for an announcement of a remaster? I feel like you should save that for a new game or something. But if they're doing it for a remaster maybe it's an important one like for a game that hasn't seen a release outside of Japan. Tales of rebirth for the win!

Nioh 3 demo. This game is so good so far, what I love most is the open ended areas, I get so overwhelmed but in a good way on which direction to go 1st lol. Combat is gonna take a bit to get used to tho but for the most part is still awesome. I can't wait to explore this game fully
