Re: 'Genesis Does What Nintendon't': Sonic Racing Takes Shots at Mario Kart World

Judal27

A bit? All you do is collect stickers and hit p switches! It's like if a ubisoft or ubi clone only added a collectible and challenges 100s of times over

Anyway idk why but this is like my most anticipated release rn. The network test was so chaotic and fun, I kept getting that one more race feeling. And it's making me wanna play a bunch of sonic games for some reason lol

Re: Poll: Did You Buy a PS1 at Launch?

Judal27

I was too young to remember but we did have one and it was amazing. With some of my fondest memories of playing spyro, tomb raider, megaman, digimon rumble arena, and some of the disney licensed games with my mom and sis

Re: PS5's High Price Becoming a Serious Headache for Publishers

Judal27

It's absolutely stupid to blame the systems price when the place it's selling best on is full of negative reviews too, the game has bad word of mouth despite actually being really fun. But at the same time he does obviously have a point. But that's just in general especially on console

Like I just pre ordered a game for $50 and I'll have full access to all its features that would've cost me $70 on my ps5. And if I wanted to play it online for the year that's like $170. I'm baffled what was once considered the affordable option became so unaffordable. And it's sad too cause I'd definitely rather play it on ps5 on my TV but oh well

Re: Expedition 33 Devs 'Exchange Ideas' with Final Fantasy Team

Judal27

There isn't anything Square could learn from Clair Obscur in regards to FF. They made a really good turn based rpg. And Squares pumped out 10 of those for the series. And that's just the combat. The story, characters, music, exploration, setting etc. All the things that make CO good, square is still continuing with FF

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 590

Judal27

A good ways into act 2 of Clair obscur. Still a lot to love about this game. The difficulty finally ramped up here and there lol. But the story is too slow. Practically nothing happened in all of act 1 except the end of it. And so far in 2 neither. The twists and turns don't really land with me as much as they could. But what it does excel at is the great character interactions and chats. Makes you appreciate them and want to see how their story ends. But the most enjoyable part has been exploring the overworld and doing all the side stuff. Really fun

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 589

Judal27

Playing through Clair Obscur still in act 1. And I absolutely love it so far. Great writing, great music, and a good amount of exploration. My only gripe might be that it's too easy so far at least on standard difficulty. It's super easy to parry, even enemies you're not meant to be fighting yet so if you land them, everything is a breeze or just a matter of patience as you whittle down the health bar

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Death Stranding 2?

Judal27

I wish I was. But idk where to play it on, I'd love to play it rn on ps5 but I don't want to pay for online and I really liked the online aspect of the original. It enhanced the game a lot I'd say tbh. I might cave, it depends on how I feel when payday comes lol

Re: Feature: Top 20 PS5 Games of 2025 So Far

Judal27

Wow I can't believe I've only played MH Wilds this whole year even tho there's a lot of games on that list I want to buy and play. I need to get on them but my gaming habits lately have been weird

Re: Talking Point: Do Early Access Editions Go Too Far for Story Games Like Death Stranding 2?

Judal27

It's not something I particularly like to see games do but there are far worse things in this industry than a company throwing in an earlier release date for a game, usually by 2 days at most, if you pay more

Now if it stretches to longer than 2 days like a week or more. I'd be upset mainly cause then it really would be just them gatekeeping the games real launch behind an extra pay wall than what you're already paying. Only time will tell how far that goes

Re: PSVR2 to Lose the Support of Its Best Game This Month

Judal27

This is kinda embarrassing but only sonys fault. I get having a closed off ecosystem for console. But you should allow your customers to do whatever they want with their headsets for vr an extremely niche market

I don't get what support the devs could add tho lol. As far as I remember, this game is heavily carried by the community. Custom maps, sabers, music and even ways to play it were all done by mods no?

Re: 'The Story Is Weak': Stellar Blade Dev Acknowledges PS5, PC Fave's Biggest Flaw

Judal27

Honestly them pointing it out is so reassuring. A little sad cause it means 1's story will basically stay unfixed when there's a really good premise and overarching story to it. A lot of good story beats that would be even better if they could actually flesh out the characters and narrative

But I'm glad it's something they're gonna try to actively work on for the sequel. Especially when part 2 seems like it's gonna go even harder with that finale in 1

Re: Stellar Blade Goes Nuclear on PC, Obliterates All Sony Single Player Records on Steam

Judal27

Damn denuvo people lost. They said performance tanks when its actually an amazing looking game that runs pretty good

Awesome to see for a really fun game. I'll pick it up on sale. But I've been watching my friend play it and it's been good ol harmless fun. Slaughtering mobs with the awesome combat cause she's really good at the game (better than me 😂). Laughing about the outfits, and just exploring every nook n cranny now with even more to find

Re: Sounds Like Switch 2 May Have Obliterated PS5's Launch Record in France

Judal27

@Haruki_NLI all it means is that the ps5 could've launched to a higher number than it did. And possibly wouldn't be a record broken by the s2 if this rumor is even true

But that said I feel like launch records barely even matter and more so the longevity of the console. What does it matter that ps5 broke a lot of launch records in the beginning if its now trailing behind ps4 in some countries even if only by like a million

Anecdotal evidence here lol: practically every one I know has not gotten the new console and don't plan on getting it and it's just weird to me cause we all have switches. I'm curious to see how it does I guess

Re: Next Tales of Remaster Announcement Confirmed for This Summer

Judal27

Did they really do an announcement for an announcement of a remaster? I feel like you should save that for a new game or something. But if they're doing it for a remaster maybe it's an important one like for a game that hasn't seen a release outside of Japan. Tales of rebirth for the win!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 584

Judal27

Nioh 3 demo. This game is so good so far, what I love most is the open ended areas, I get so overwhelmed but in a good way on which direction to go 1st lol. Combat is gonna take a bit to get used to tho but for the most part is still awesome. I can't wait to explore this game fully

And also Code Vein with a friend. We've been really enjoying this one, imagine our surprise that they reveal a sequel 😂

Re: Reaction: Sony Finally Understands the Assignment with One of the Best State of Plays of the PS5 Era

Judal27

@themightyant when i said i hope they understand that, i mean sony themselves xD. But Idk man, cause that state of play ur talking about was probably even more negatively received than this one. And this one had a little more variety and even propped up niche japanese devs. It's like you said in your other post, they can't win no matter what they do. But it's pretty telling why when the most wanted game of the show is 007, when that wasn't even the game Sony propped up as the most important
