Zenless Zone Zero's Milestone Update Is One of the Most Generous in Gacha Gaming History 1

Zenless Zone Zero does appear to be the ugly duckling of HoYoverse’s gacha trilogy, often losing out to juggernauts Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail on the Sensor Tower revenue charts.

But for the game’s many millions of fans that just means more and more rewards, and v2.5 – launching on 30th December – is a bit absurd when it comes to all the giveaways.

To summarise as swiftly as possible, you can pre-register now to earn some in-game goodies and 320 Polychrome, the all-important currency which allows you to pull on characters.

But that’s just the start: logins over the next week will guarantee a further 480 Polychrome, and then because the game won a gold medal at the recent PlayStation Partner Awards, the dev is giving away a further 1,000 Polychrome on 1st January. This is all in addition to the ten free pulls which will be included with the new update.

But it doesn’t end there: new S-Rank character Zhao – who’ll be available throughout the entirety of the new banner alongside Shunguang – will be free for all players.

And Jane Doe’s rather risque alternative outfit Nocturne of Light will be free for everyone as well.

Not only that but a new Signal Search will boost the drop rate of three previously released Agents and their W-Engines, and your first S-Rank is guaranteed to be the promoted character.

Then, any Monochrome you purchase with real money throughout the new update will be converted into tickets, which eventually can be traded for a further S-Rank agent of your choice as an extra bonus. Available characters will include Jane and Burnice, among others.

Elsewhere, five older characters, including eternal favourite Ellen Joe, will also be getting combat enhancements which you’ll be able to purchase through a new currency earned through gameplay.

Oh, and in addition to the continuation of the main quest, a new Event will trial co-op gameplay for the first time, allowing you to play alongside two other players in online multiplayer.

The dev’s even introducing an enhanced version of Inter-Knot, allowing you to join forces with friends and send out commissions for your pals to tackle in return for rewards.

There’s honestly so much stuffed into this update we could continue typing for several more minutes, but we’ll let you enjoy the Special Programme in full if you want all of the details.

By the way, if you’re looking for the latest redemption code, it’s VOIDHUNTER1230.

Really, the bottom line here is that Zenless Zone Zero is going above and beyond this update. We’re really looking forward to collecting all of the copious rewards.
