Falcom has a "major" game announcement up its sleeve, and its happening this month.
The Japanese developer is behind both the Trails franchise and the Ys series, but it's widely believed that this announcement may not be related to either.
Indeed, it's about time that the company revealed its new Tokyo Xanadu title — the long-awaited follow-up to the 2015 action RPG of the same name. The project was teased back in 2024.
Falcom plans to release two new titles this year — and we know that one of them is Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, which is due in the autumn / fall.
"This year also marks Falcom’s 45th anniversary, and we hope to build hype around this milestone by announcing stuff in a good pace," Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo told Japanese outlet Gamer (as per @Hansuke21 and Gematsu).
