Re: DIRT 5, Maneater Saves Won't Transfer from PS4 to PS5

Is the problem moving from PS4 to PS5 not everyone has PS+ so not everyone has cloud saves. If I wanted to play a PS4 title that's not getting an upgrade could I just copy over the save via external USB. I hope Cyberpunk 2077 do it right when they upgrade 4 to 5 I don't want to start again 😬

Re: Developers Can’t Stop Hyping Up the PS5 Controller

@legalstep Good question, I'd like to think the PS5 controller will play PS5/PS4 titles on the PS5. If you Google they say you can't use PS4 controller with PS5 games, but not the other way round. I can understand that's to ensure developers know they will always have the features.

Re: 505 Games Attempts to Explain Control's PS5 Upgrade Scandal

Wow, I bought the game and the season pass. Don't think it even includes the new Alan Wake expansion. Why bother getting the PS4 version, might as well wait for sale on PS5. I thought they had already done many of the enhancements for the PC version anyway. Cash grab with a bad taste in your mouth 😬
Edit: Alan Wake stand alone £11.99 or included in the season pass at £19.99

Re: Is There a PS5 Pro?

It would fit with AMD making chiplets rather than a great big SOC. Just double up like they did with the PS4 Pro 20.6TFlops 😁 I don't see the point in wasting all the power on 8k give us better worlds at 4k 😎

Re: Unsurprisingly, Xbox Game Pass Will Not Be Coming to PS5, PS4

No reason why Sony couldn't rebrand PS+ and PS Now into a Gamepass equivalent service. But go one further and let you carry on playing a game even after it's no longer in the 100 games (subscription still being paid). Games I like on both platforms, I just happen to like more titles on PlayStation. Looks like I'll have to play Hellblade 2 on PC. The first one got me hooked because I watched all the developer diaries so impressive.

Re: June 2020 NPD: The Last of Us 2 Tops the Chart Across the US

@Kiro_Senpai Usually Amazon for physical editions. £49.99 on most pre order titles. Digital editions are usually greater than £50 (when they shouldn't be) recent one Ghost of Tsumima £54.99 for the basic version. Game always was overpriced with the occasional bargain. Not very often I pre-order these days.

Re: Sony on PS5 Exclusives: We Can't Take Everyone with Us from Previous Gens

Crowley22g

Two sides of the same coin, they both want to make money. Too many assumptions being made without all the facts. Exclusives drive console sales and that increases the amount of people in your ecosystem. Sony already has an unfair start by selling in excess of 100 million PS4s. Once you factor in brand loyalty and the trophy or achievements system and many people will be unlikely to jump ship. I think both have cracking hardware, but if your paying for a new console you want it to stand out from what you had before. Friend has a X1X his only upgrade path is a Series X, the 23rd is make or break on getting the console on launch or waiting a year. I'm already on board for a PS5 at launch 👍
