@thefourfoldroot I'm thinking PSVR is the PS4 version. PSVR 2 if and when it happens won't need the DualSense or a camera. Then I just need Valve to release Half Life Alyx and I'm a happy man 😎

A demo would maybe convince more people. The price tag will put many people off. This I feel will apply to many PS5 titles going forward with a £70 price tag.

LOUP2 would be in my top 5 the detail is something else for a PS4 title. Cyberpunk 2077 played on PS5 is by no means short, played 77 hours. At the point of no return, however some of the side quest could easily be renamed main missions. YouTube focuses on all the negatives, the city has more depth than Spiderman which outside of the main missions was a grind. Demon Souls, I'd like to try it but not at full price 😬

@AdamNovice The settings bug appeared only once after patch 1.05. Went into settings and no close button. Exited game to dash and restarted. It forces a settings reset. After that it works perfectly 👍 Put almost 60hrs into the game now.

No, played great on PS5 😎 must have played about 35 hours.

Sony don't do digital refunds 😬 I tried once 😂 Please wait the game is worth it, speaking from 30 hours in. Play something else for now, make your own delay.

@LordSteev So true, about 30 hours in myself, the level of detail in the darkest corners of the world, side quests that give you more main quests. Just driving place to place on my Arch motorcycle, rare I fast travel. Look beyond initial glitches and there is a game worth playing. Rock and a hard place, they could have delayed again. Been playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5 since Thursday. 20 hours in and enjoying it so far. I did turn off film grain and chromic abboration, that does sharpen the image some what. Basically playing an enhanced PS4 Pro version at 60fps. Can't wait for final PS5 version 😎

@Gatatog Think Sony need a few more firmware updates. Only had one issue with Cyberpunk in 15 hours so must have been lucky

@PossibLeigh Not had this issue on launch patch or 1.04. I do play from cold boot, don't think rest mode is working well at all. Once I started doing that Miles Morales and Cyberpunk have been ok for me 😎

@ShogunRok Cold boot PS5 solved a lot of issues for me. One crash in 12 hours on launch day patch. No issues so far on 1.04. NXG did a good tech analysis of PS5 and Series X, Microsoft has marketing rights so they got a few extra bells and whistles for back compatibility. PS5 is currently just an enhanced PS4 Pro version. Still enjoying it, save another play through for official PS5 version 😎

@Gatatog This might help, start your PS5 from cold, not rest mode. Played about 12 hours no major issues. Miles Morales crash several times before I started doing that 👍

Got console on the 19th and had a hard crash the second time i played it. Now start the console from cold before playing Miles and unplugged my SSD. Waited for firmware update and Miles update before playing again. Played three times since with no more issues.

You will however get trophies for the PS4 version and depending on the developer trophies on the PS5 version. No Man's Sky PS4 to PS5 just popped every trophy I'd already earned on PS4. Warframe gave me 99% progress on ones I'd already got, need to replay quests. Really looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 😎

@Gatatog Saves for back compatibility work just fine. The issue is PS5 saves are not in the same location. No Man's Sky you have to upload to their servers then download back to the PS5 version. Warframe was flawless, just downloaded PS5 version and logged in, they did the rest. Worth a look, a lots changed in 7 years 😎

Now we are getting all the talk about Xbox being full RDNA2. So they went with stock while Sony went with custom. There both going to do the same thing 😎

@B-I-G-DEVIL Noticed that, the update history is only available for PS4 games, not PS5. Hope they add it, handy to see what's been fixed or new content added.

Finished the main game, loved it. Save the DLC for the PS5 upgrade 😎

Not had an issue with the front USB not charging the controller. Got my USBs set to 3hr. Did you update the controller firmware during initial set up. I've only had one full system crash caused by Spiderman Miles Morales. Waiting on a firmware / game update before I play it again. Just been closing my games before entering rest mode, never had an issue so far 😎

Noticed all my play times for PS4 titles are double what they should be 🤔

@AJDarkstar Might help you. If you can plug disk into type-c and format for use. Then try plugging it into the rear connections. I'm now running my Samsung T5 1TB from the rear ports. The console even told me the type-a port on the front was too slow 👍

Pre-ordered the physical disc version. Will be playing it on PS5 until it gets the full next gen upgrade 😎

Picked up a Samsung T5 1TB SSD in the sales £130 should be good for PS4 titles. Apparently you get similar speed from the internal and external SSD when using PS4 titles. The PS5 titles take full advantage of the internal SSD 😎

People forget the resume issues existed at the launch of PS4. The solution back then was the same, turn off the feature and close games at the end of play. That same console is still running today 👍 Can't be as noisy as the Pro playing God of War 😁

Save some space by switching off the 15 second video clip when getting a trophy 👍

@JohnnyShoulder Might be the case for PS5 titles going forward. Not holding my breath for PS4 titles. I'll find out next Thursday if it turns up 👍🙂

@Kidfunkadelic83 Down to price and storage, I picked up the Samsung T5 1TB in the sales £130, moved all my games from PS4 Pro to it. It's definitely faster than the internal HDD.

Hope the PS5 gets it's web browser back, on PS4 I would pick a trophy and press options to search, very handy for finding a YouTube guide without using my phone.

Thought it was only the disk version of Unity that runs at 60 if you play v1.00 unpatched. Last Guardian has two modes 🤔 I thought 60 was an option if running at 1080p. Find out soon 😎
Edit: Went back and watched it again, no mention of TLG not running at 60. Unity was the one they capped with a patch 👍

Owner of the base game + DLC, not going to buy same again for PS5. Not the same for Spiderman, your getting Miles + previous game and all content. We are not getting Control 2 with Control + DLC as a bonus. End of the day it's their choice, but it's also mine. Short term gain at the expense of their next title 😬

The PS5 box states DTS-HD 7.1 audio. My amp does DTS 5.1 🙂 Got a decent set of Technics headphones so they should be fine for 3D audio. Looking forward to hear how good it actually is 😎

Very nice getting a PS5 update with save migration. Put a lot of hours into the PS4 version. My base pushes the CPU way too hard, fans always kicked in. Just to explore with a nice quiet console is my holy grail 😎

Finished Life is Strange 2 and been playing Titan Fall 2 since it was £4.99 in the sales 😎 Can't wait for PS5, already moved all my games to external SSD in preparation.

@zekepliskin Don't tell my friend that, he hates Microsoft moving things about in the UI 😁 they recently removed the option to video capture in 4k HDR (only SDR now) on the 1X. I assume that's gone to Series X 🙄

It must do some form of suspend, you saw them swapping to another game. Not so useful for physical games.
