@LTPenguin I can definitely see that point of view from the publishers, but keep in mind there’s more PS5’s out in the wild than the PS4 during its launch and I didn’t see the same type of support for PS3

@Floki that’s true, optimization across multiple platforms is usually the cause of a laundry list of bugs like we see here

& yet Demons Souls remake was built from the base code on ps3, completely overhauled, and I couldn’t find a single bug that needed patching in my 130 hours so far

@blinx01 well you aren’t a game developer so the solution you suggest isn’t as simple as we hoped. The developer themselves admitted that implementing saves is proving to be hard because of the other game systems built around it- so it’s not a matter of simple addition, but re-writing existing code to fit the save system into the experience without literally breaking the game

Keep it off PlayStation! I wouldn’t want to waste precious ssd space being saved for the upcoming first party exclusives.

Being as it’s still the hottest tech item in demand there’s no logical reason to discount the biggest games, and the majority of early adopters are hardcore gamers who are thirsty to buy new games however expensive

Remember that those who own a PS5, and are unwilling to break the bank on multiple full price 1st party games, are actually in the minority.

Competition is heating up!!! My body is ready

I love the fact that we can have stories like TLOU where practically every emotion and action is explained through extensive dialogue and pristine performances, leaving very little room for creative interpretation. It’s excellent for that.

And on the flip side there’s stories like Returnal that are widely left to the players imagination to piece together as they see fit - it’s literally the best of both worlds!!

This will be my first proper VR experience and I can’t wait!!!

Too busy playing Warzone to really bother

Great news cause the servers seem empty on pc, joining a normal race is an exercise in patience. The custom made tracks are a fun romp though!

No purchase from me yet, I tend not to preorder from big publishers even if it’s a game I’m looking forward to like Village. Knowing this franchise it’ll be on a deep sale within next couple months!

@JapaneseSonic it’s actually refreshing this isn’t getting pushed to take advantage of current gen - It instills hope in me that this developer actually polished the experience for last gen where the majority of gamers are playing, which is better than what most can claim!

I’ve heard these praises before, 20 minutes of gameplay for today’s unpolished games isn’t even scratching the surface of the surface..if there’s ever a game to adopt the wait & see approach its Biomutant! My condolences to those who dropped $400 usd on the Atomic Edition
