@Stocksy you must fail to understand that ps+ games are only free for the month available, and an upgrade would imply the person has a PS5 too. How many gamers have a PS5 and ps+ and will claim FF7 for free!? A small fraction you say. A meaningless amount that could easily be upgraded for free you say!?!?

Such a stupid move by Sony to hype PS5 owners with FF7 updates only to find out it’s not until June then give us the now unattractive PS4 version for free, effectively killing my mood to play this game for the first time until the PS5 update comes out!! And with NO current way to pay for the upgrade separately that would mean buying the game again after claiming it for free from ps+.....STUPID

Sorry but I’m my eyes you haven’t done enough to justify a $70 purchase, barring any special editions. I’ll wait for positive reviews or a price drop because the footage they’ve shown doesn’t impress me

FF7 Remake news was hilariously convoluted, have no idea when the PS5 upgrade is live but I hope it’s not June like the dlc! Kena looks better than a free ps+ title so would appreciate it if we stopped asking for such. Deathloop stole the show with a trailer that would make IO blush and start taking notes

This is good news but still overpriced. Sony needs to stick with what they’re good at. Imagine Xbox making a strictly single player focused action game (before hellblade 2) it would be the laughing stock of the industry!

Great news!! Literally just grabbed the Deluxe Edition on sale and was disappointed in the extra 5 dollars spent, until now!

This is legit sad news for me because I’m enjoying Days Gone in 4K 60fps on PS5 already... however there’s a few Sony exclusives that don’t have “great” console performance I would love to take for a spin on pc

@Octane that’s a wasted worry because VR games scale with tech just like any other...they can keep releasing new stuff for current VR with enhanced experiences using the newer one

Ya know Sony, these pc ports would be interesting if they were for well established franchises that we would actually want to replay again

Just spent $35 on this game to play couch co-op with my gf and I’ve noticed a few frame drops here and there, PS5 enhancements could fix that!!

Horizon Zero Dawn was one of the few PS4 bangers that never clicked with me, even trying it on pc. Okay that AND Death Stranding were totally mediocre imo

Why wasn’t this available for Demons Souls or Sackboy!?! I never feel comfortable paying full price for a deluxe version but after spending dozens of hours in each of these games I’d be willing to splurge a bit more for those “extra” items, especially the Sackboy costumes!!!

I’m a huge advocate for ultra realism in games and photo realistic graphics but this is just unsettling... can’t see myself playing a whole game whose characters look “real” - there’s a fine line between artistry & style and ironically these models would break my immersion

@NEStalgia PS5 forces hdr in console settings, it’s not an Xbox exclusive feature or anything. Xbox has a known issue with crushed blacks and improper hdr lighting as pointed out by HDTVtest and others

@Hurblyburbly I’ll agree on Horizon but GEARS is a benchmark for what!? There aren’t exactly a shortage of 3rd person action games that look beautiful and play butter smooth, Gears 5 isn’t revolutionary in any regard.

I’m convinced Lucid games & Sony delayed Destruction Allstars for the sole purpose of adding microtransactions and adjusting the reward system, not for “extra polish” like they explicitly led us to believe.. The game is very polished indeed, but that’s because there’s so little content to begin with!
