Re: Talking Point: Is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Still a PS5 Launch Window Game?

@Ear_wiG I keep seeing people suggest this but that logic doesn’t sit well with me, Sony would be selling MORE copies of Rachet the sooner it gets released, not less. Waiting to release the game when there’s “more PS5’s in the wild” ensures that the people who would buy it NOW (like me) could potentially miss out when it does release. On flip side, releasing it now means everyone who has a PS5 will no doubt buy the game to be included in hype and anyone who doesn’t have a PS5 will be looking to get the game as soon as they have the system!

@Gaming365247 I read a comment on YouTube that definitely wasn’t a fanboy and it said “The Medium is more technically ambitious using ssd for dual worlds than Racket & Clank: Rift Apart”

Maybe it’s a legitimately ambitious project only possible on next gen. Maybe it’s nothing more than marketing hype.

@Jimmer-jammer aside from the bugs and technical issues Cyberpunk is unfinished in every other way, CDPR will be releasing updates and adding features that should have been in game or working to begin with. That’s why any self respecting gamer would wait, so they have time to FINISH their game and we can experience it the way it was meant to be.

Dualsense is great! Id argue it’s over engineered a wee bit. I’m not usually the type to comment on this but the build quality overtime is concerning, I’ve noticed my buttons losing their “clickiness” and tactile feel, dpad and face buttons feel “squishy” after decent use
