My Friend Peppa Pig – and all her pals – will be putting in an appearance on PlayStation 4 this year. That means you’ll be able to hang out with the likes of Danny Dog, Gerald Giraffe, Suzy Sheep, Candy Cat, and many more! “In this all-new fun-filled adventure, become Peppa Pig’s new friend. All your little ones’ favourite characters from the show are here! Are your little piggies ready to become Peppa’s new friends?” the press release asks.

The game’s due out on 22nd October, but unfortunately details are light in terms of what it actually entails. Presumably this will be designed with toddlers in mind, so we imagine it’ll be fairly simplistic and light-hearted – we suspect there’ll be educational elements along the way, as well. The trailer stresses that the title will feature the “official voice of Peppa”; unfortunately that’s no longer Harley Bird, who quit the role in 2020, but youngster Amelie Bea Smith.

Hopefully this precedes a more mature sequel, like where you get to have a pint with Daddy Pig. We reckon he’d make a good drinking partner.
