Since i own only an Xbox One, not a Series S|X I'll have no choice but to get this game on the Expensive Store on my PS5. We brazilians can't catch a break, man... I'm pretty sure this game will cost 30-40 reais more on PS5 than the Xbox version, as it is the case with all indie games. I hate this *****

I can't even think about getting a PS6 if Sony doesn't do something about their inflated prices on digital games (especially indies) on PS Store in Brazil. Why MGS3 Delta is costing 400 reais there but 350 reais on Xbox and Steam? Why Silksong is costing 60 reais on Nintendo and Steam (74 on Xbox) but 114 reais on PS Store? Outer Worlds 2 is costing 400 reais on PS Store and 300 reais on Xbox lol

And don't get me started on indie games. They're mostly overpriced on Playstation for no reason whatsoever. Their full price on Xbox is the price they have when they're on sale on PS Store, that's insane... and there are some very cool games that are not present on Playstation, like Loop Hero or Grim Dawn...WTF?

And I'm not even talking about the garbage asset flip scam "games" that Sony allows on their storefront.

i like my PS5 but I'm failing to see any advantages of having this console instead of a Xbox...or even a PC. There's almost no more PS5 exclusive games since they're all getting a PC port. I'll definitely gonna keep an eye on Microsoft and gaming notebooks in 2-3 years. I can still use my PS5 to play indie and 3rd party games for a long time, since it looks like console gen will extend beyond the usual 7 years

This is probably going to be my last gen with a PlayStation console, after owning all 5 Playstation machines, unless they reduce the price of their digital games and put a bunch of interesting PS6 games that won't be on PC eventually, otherwise i might as well jump ship and get me an Xbox (especially now that they're going PC-console hybrid style with multiple storefronts from PC) or just a PC, even though i hate playing on PC because of how unstable or outright broken some ports are

I just found out that most games (especially indies) on PS Store are more expensive than games on Xbox Store...? At least here in Brazil. Too bad i don't own a Series console, otherwise i would wipe my wishlist on PS Store and buy everything on Xbox

@BecauseBecause no, that's OK. I was informing you rather than criticizing you. And yes, anxiety can be quite bad as well. Some people have a really bad case of anxiety, while others have what we call GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), which is my case. The issues i have (OCD, GAD, Depression and SPD, which in my case is a very low tolerance for loud noises) are comorbidities of my autism, that's why i have so many things at once

If what you have doesn't affect your daily life, then you shouldn't worry about, but i would advise you to seek professional help to maybe treat this anxiety if it's still bad. The medicine I'm taking helped me a lot, and when i have a very serious case of severe anxiety i have an emergency antidepressant that cuts down my anxiety and makes me sleep.

Anyway, i really hope you're doing better now and i hope that at least what i said helped you (or maybe an anon, who knows) to inform about these stuff. Mental Health is very important, after all. Have a nice day

@BecauseBecause it's not OCD if you don't feel anxiety or any sort of panic if you ignore what your mind is telling you to do (like the trophy stuff you mentioned). OCD causes a lot of suffering and distress. Separating things by color or size (like you do with your games) doesn't necessarily mean you have OCD, sometimes it's just you organizing things on your own way and you just feel a satisfaction by doing it.

Your behavior can be considered OCD if you feel anxious, impaired in your daily life or forced to do whatever your mind is telling you to do (organizing things or playing games until you get all trophies, for example), otherwise you won't feel a sense of inner peace and you'll start to crumble, have repetitive thoughts about the thing you just ignored and so on. Since i don't know if you're diagnosed with OCD, I'm just making a very superficial assessment while trying to answer your question

Source: me, who has OCD, depression , anxiety disorder and autism, and take medicine to keep my suffering at minimum, but gladly, my OCD doesn't involve getting trophies in games

Update: not gonna buy this game on PS5. They put the game up on the Store with one price and then they removed it and put the game again but more expensive than it was before. Silksong on PS4/PS5 is more expensive than any other version of the game on any other platform here in Brazil. Steam, Nintendo and Xbox all have WAY more affordable prices than PS Store. I'll buy this game on Steam

I own HK on my PS4 since 2022 but never really finished the game, but i enjoyed quite a lot, so I'll definitely pick Silksong, i just don't know when. The only downside is that Silksong is insanely expensive on Playstation, way way way more than on Steam (Brazil). The game's price on Steam is very affordable, but since i prefer playing my games on console and since i don't own the first game on PC, I'll get this one on PS5

Late news. I found the game yesterday morning while browsing that horrendous "add you your wishlist" option on PS Store, that is filled with asset flip garbage. I'm planning on getting this again, since i already own it on PC

I couldn't care less about this game, especially a 3rd party multiplatform game. What the ***** are you doing, Sony lol

I hope it gets canned so Sony can learn a lesson. Also, a quick shout out to the three stooges: Jim Ryan, Hermen Hulst and Totoki, for being completely out of touch and for making a bunch of horrible decisions in front of all of us. But a special shout out to Jade Raymond, for still being around in the game industry, even though she can't really put out any decent game for a long time. That's quite a feat

I'll definitely pick this up later this year or next year. I'm pretty sure the game will be as good as the other ones, but i hope they can make a more decent story with less annoying villains

Base PS5 performance included in the review = nice work! Maybe I'll pick this one up eventually. Played the demo, got stuck at a puzzle and stopped because i was too lazy to figure the solution, but performance was indeed decent there, so it's good to know performance is still decent in the full game

Looks cool, but I'm not a huge fan of portable stuff. Apparently Sony is doing 2 SKUs right from the beginning, like Microsoft did with Xbox Series X and S, which is... weird, but i guess i would pick up the most powerful one, i just hope they don't bring a ***** Pro 4 years later.

Having said that, i still want to see what Microsoft will be doing with their next hardware. If they bring PC storefront to their machine and if i can use my Steam account there...then it's bye bye Sony, i guess (if they keep porting their games to PC and if they keep raising the prices of their games in Brazil)

@belmont the review is wrong. I suggest you take a look at Digital Foundry's video about this game's performance on YouTube. PS5 Pro struggles to run this game at a decent framerate, especially in outdoor areas

Gonna pick this up (maybe) when it's on sale on PS5. Price in Brazil is higher than the usual 70 dollars, for some reason (it should cost 350 reais, but it's costing 400 reais here). As for the game itself, I'm pretty sure PS will give the good ol' 7/10 because that's how things go around here. If it's a 8/10 I'll be shocked (I'm being sarcastic, of course, i don't care about reviews, i make my own opinions or read what gamers have to say, not critics)

On Xbox you can ask for refund even if you played the game, if you didn't play it that much. Sony is still quite strict and unfair with their refund policy

Good week. I've got Gears for free since i already got Ultimate Edition on Xbox One in 2015, so I'll test the game on my PC, since i don't own a Series console

I played Shinobi demo and dropped before finishing it. Didn't like it. I still prefer the original game, which i played a lot as a kid, so I'll skip this one

Once again no mention of base PS5 performance or overall quality in the review. I'm glad Digital Foundry exists, though. It's clear to me that this game is far from being "smooth" in terms of performance, unless you consider constant 50fps or less smooth. Having said that, base PS5 has decent image quality and even better performance than the Pro in outdoor areas, so that's a pro (no pun intended) for me. Since this is another port from Virtuous, though, I'd rather wait to see if there's random crashes or something like that

Whenever a publisher skips PS5 but release their games on PC/Switch combo, i return the favor by not buying anything from them. Only exception to this day was Steamworld Heist 2 (because Steamworld Quest skipped Playstation) and i almost didn't buy it

@carlos82 both RE games appeared for me as free download. I bought one in one account and the other in another account, back when i was playing on my PS3, and i still managed to grab both for free (since i still have access to both accounts). I think you're doing something wrong or maybe you bought the game in another account, but they're definitely free if you already own them. Maybe you got them already. Anyway, check your purchase history because you can definitely get them free

What they did with AI was pretty ***** and very scummy. This is the kind of stuff that i despise and criticize about AI use. I hope they get sued or something. Having said that, PS review of this game is pretty bad. @Northern_munkey is completely right here

Since the last firmware update on my PS5, I've been experiencing a lot of CE-108262-9 errors, especially when browsing the PS Store. The whole thing crashes, kicks me out of the store and the system notifies me that it sent a report to Sony. It happened once while playing a game, which promptly crashed my whole system and made the console turn itself off and once this also happened while i left the console a few minutes idling in the home screen (it also turned itself off). I've seen other users on Reddit complaining about the same issue on the last few weeks, so I'm not the only one. I'm pretty sure this is a software issue but i don't want to reinstall the system, because i don't want to lose all my saves and i refuse to pay for a PS Plus subscription just to do that

The store is FILLED with garbage asset flip AI slop ***** that i refuse to call games, a lot of them being shameless copies of games that are only available on Steam, to the point where the devs of the original game have to report these ***** to Sony so they remove them from their store. This is embarrassing. I can't go into the "add to your wishlist" section of the PS Store without almost throwing up because 80% or more of the games there aren't even games. I mean, some clown made a scam based on that stupid "Tralalelo Tralala" chatgpt crap where you move a cursor from one side to the other side of the screen and everytime you do this you earn one trophy. By this point i think it's fair to say that Sony has surpassed both Nintendo and Steam in terms of horrible shovelware crap or at least they're very close of achieving such feat

They raise the price of their games in Brazil, they raise their PS Plus subscription prices, they remaster a bunch of games that no one asked for and yet they can't even maintain a decent level of quality on their own digital storefront, which is the place where they probably earn more money nowadays on a daily basis...

I'm still playing the first game. I actually had to take a break because it was getting too repetitive for me. I like repetition sometimes, and it's often unavoidable in such games like this, but i think there are other games that did repetition better. I also hate hate hate that the first game have this stupid fog of war map that you have to walk everywhere to clear it. It makes my OCD go wild and i feel forced to walk for 2-3h around like an idiot with my horse just to clear the map. I tried stop doing it but i just can't. That's why i already have +45h in this game and I'm still in the second region and barely made any progress in the main story

I just hope that they at least remove this fog feature in the next game so when i buy it, i won't get crazy

Speaking of buying, this game is costing 400 reais (Brazilian currency) now, which is more expensive than the 60-70 dollar price in USA. At first the game was costing 350 reais, but a month ago they raised the price on most of their 1st party games. I think we all know the reason, but i don't want to delve into this kind of subject AT ALL.

Anyway, since their games is so expensive now in Brazil, i don't have a choice but to skip them all and then (hopefully) get some decent deal by getting physical media around here. Hell, i might even get an used copy now. That's why physical media should never die

Finally something that isn't being hosted by Geoff Keighley. I'm excited to see some RE Requiem, Pragmata e Onimusha. It would be awesome to see some Devil May Cry stuff as well, either a new game or a remake of the first one

Hopefully both RE games will be available to those that bought them on PS3, just like they did with RE Director's Cut. If that's the case, then I'll be able to get them on my PS5

Taking into consideration how expensive games are getting now (at least where i live), I'll take what i can get in terms of length. So yes, more time = higher chance for me to buy the game, especially if it's an JRPG game

Just wanted to know about performance on base console and it does look like it runs kinda OK. Always good to know that performance is being mentioned in the review and it's taking the most popular hardware into consideration instead of just focusing on the premium hardware. I'll take the PS Store overall "review" (4.44 rating based on +6K reviews at this moment) over this one, though.

Just came here to search for one thing: performance on base PS5 and i couldn't find that info. Next time, test the game on both systems because not everyone has (or will have) both consoles, it's either one or the other. Guess I'll have to wait DF's video again.

Never heard about this game before, but I'll always wait any timed exclusive to be released on PS5 since i won't be getting this console at all. My support for Nintendo died with the Wii U. Anything from here on out is either emulation or PS5 port

I need interesting exploration with good loot, decent sidequests and fun gameplay (especially on combat). If these things are OK in Starfield, I'll pick it up when it comes to PS5. Oh, i hope they don't gimp PS5's performance just like they did with Doom, otherwise I'll skip this one
