The most significant Gran Turismo 7 post-launch update ever dropped only last month, combined with a paid PS5 add-on called the Power Pack. That's not stopping team Polyphony Digital from continuing its regular free patches, though, as another drops for the PS5, PS4 title inside the next 24 hours.
Update 1.67 adds three additional cars to the racing game, another Menu to complete, three more World Circuits events, and a Scape set in California.
The three new cars are:
Hyundai Elantra N TC '24
Engineered for victory, the Elantra N represents Hyundai’s high‑performance N brand, with the Elantra N TC developed specifically for motorsport. The road car’s 2.0‑liter turbocharged engine delivers 276 BHP and 40.0 kgfm, achieving 0–62 mph in 5.3 seconds, forming a strong foundation for racing evolution. Modified to meet international touring car regulations, the TC gains a wide‑body aerodynamic package, carbon‑fiber splitter, and large rear wing for increased downforce. A six‑speed sequential gearbox, adjustable racing suspension, and endurance‑spec brakes ensure adaptability and durability. Weight reduction, added rigidity, and a regulation roll cage complete a focused race car that retains the agility and reliability of the production model.
Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) '22
The Porsche 911 has defined sports‑car performance since 1963, earning legendary status on road and track. That heritage continued with the 992‑generation 911, launched in 2018, featuring evolved styling, a 3.0‑liter turbo flat‑six, and an eight‑speed PDK transmission. From this platform emerged the 911 GT3 R, introduced in 2022 as a pure race machine.Powered by a 4.2‑liter flat‑six producing up to 557 BHP, it features carbon‑fiber and aramid construction, RSR‑derived suspension, and a longer wheelbase for improved stability. AP Racing brakes and a modernized cockpit complete a car built to dominate GT racing.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra '25
Xiaomi’s leap from smart devices to electric mobility culminates in the SU7 Ultra, a BEV designed to redefine performance expectations. Using a three‑motor all‑wheel‑drive system, it delivers up to 1,527 BHP, with rear motors spinning to 27,200 rpm. Performance is staggering: 0–62 mph in 1.98 seconds and a 217.5 mph top speed. Advanced construction includes carbon‑fiber body panels, cell‑to‑body architecture, and gigacasting for exceptional rigidity and low weight. A carbon‑fiber aero kit generates 285 kg of downforce, while high‑performance brakes stop from 62 mph in 30.8 meters. With luxury, active suspension, and advanced ADAS, the SU7 Ultra marks a turning point for high‑performance EVs.
That's all the highlights of what's included in update 1.67 for Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 and PS4. Will you be adding any of the new cars to your garage? Let us know in the comments below.

One of Sony's most successful live services, all the free updates will keep players playing and some will spend in the store.
Nice. I think those that viewed the recent GT live race should get their two free cars as well.
My only issue with GT7 is the ludicrous amount of space it takes up on my vanilla PS5 disk space, would be elated if an option was introduced to opt out of all the bloaty 'scapes', pointless videos and more.
Looking forward to play GT7 tomorrow. Even though I personally prefer road cars.
@Silenos That's right, the game is getting quite big, but it is still not as stupid as Tekken 8, which occupies the space with single-use story videos forever.
@Silenos 120 Gb, it’s definitely one of the larger ones but not that outstanding large in its size.
@Reeneman It's over 140 GB now, at least on PS5.
Never played GT7 (not a big fan of racing sims) but i do respect Polyphony for the continued support to this game. They're amazing
@Reeneman this. Star Wars Jedi Survivor is 150gb lol
@Stepan hmm ok need to check out the size again. But still it’s still somewhere in the middle of recent games and the game includes a lot of content.
@Silenos for the price of 2 GT7’s you could get a 1tb ssd. There super easy to install, pop off the shell, undo a screw do everything back up. And hey, at least it’s not Jedi Survivors (147gb!)😄. I take your point about bloat though🙂
This is why ive put over a thousand hours into this game (plus the weekly’s)
Ooooh that Porka Turbo looks nice!
Cool. My first acquisition will probably be the Xiaomi just because I already have a couple Porsches.
I participated in a Power Pack race this morning that went pretty well until it didn’t. I raced ten practice laps, then when I got a good feel for the track and the car, did the qualifying laps and placed pretty high (6th) but during the proper race against 19 (AI) opponents I made the mistake of focusing too much on my opponents and not enough on proper braking and wound up skidding out twice in a row early in the series when the pack was tight and lost several spots. Good times and decent virtual money though.
I was hoping for Sophy integration for the Yas Marina circuit.
If you ain't got a PSVR2 then get it just for this masterpiece.
More cars, less tracks, less exciting events, it's GT7 alright.
The Porsche GT3 R officially will retire the 911 RSR, beautifully sounding machine and shows PD is slowly replacing all gr3/4 machinery for us hardcore daily racers! Hopefully get to race the Hyundai N TCR in gr4 race next week! Thanks PD
