While we're still not quite sure on where we stand with Crimson Desert, it's starting to look like it'll be one of the most popular releases of 2026 so far.
The open world title, which has looked hugely ambitious since day one, has managed to rack up over 2 million wishlists across all platforms.
Wishlists certainly aren't a concrete indicator of a game's imminent success, but they can help discern which titles are on an upward trend ahead of their launch.
Even our own traffic numbers on anything to do with Crimson Desert strongly suggest that there's a lot of interest in the upcoming adventure.

But much of this interest has got to be down to the uncertainty that still surrounds the game. As mentioned, everything we've seen of Crimson Desert says it's dangerously ambitious ā it's doing so much that you can't help but wonder whether it'll all come together in the finished product.
It's one of those scenarios where we can see reviews being really important; the title's almost had a 'too good to be true' quality to it up until now, but if it can actually pull it all off... well, it could be one of the most exciting open world games we've played in years.
Fortunately, we don't have much longer to wait. Crimson Desert is locked in for release on the 19th March.
