Inti Creates’ vibrant action platformer Majogami will shed its Switch console exclusivity and strike PS5 on 28th May, the Japanese dev has announced.
The title first launched late last year, but will be ported to Sony’s console alongside a major update, which will add 12 combat trials to extend the replayability of the release.
Here’s how the studio describes the game, per a press release:

“Majogami is a new, high-speed 2D action game designed and directed by Yuji Natsume, the official illustrator for the Blaster Master Zero series. Players control Shiroha, who must use her katana, Kamikiri, to slice through a bizarre paper craft world and the horrors she finds there.”
While it’s not entirely similar, elements of this game remind us of Puppeteer, as well as Muramasa: The Demon Blade. So, if you liked either of those, we reckon you’ll have a good time with this.
A Limited Edition physical release will be available in Japan, featuring an art book and two disc soundtrack – but there’s no word on whether this will be available in Western territories as well.
The full game features over 35 stages and 13 bosses, and received a pretty solid reception upon its release on Switch, garnering an average Metacritic rating of 76.

A loli for every occasion…except my hard earned money. That’s as aggressively anime as it is uncomfortably horny, like Tarantino shoving feet in your face every other shot
I think I’ll be getting my 2D action elsewhere, thank you.
@Hyena_socks seems like it is kinda horny, but if the writing is good, could go in the vein of disgaea
I bought a switch two what an utter disappointment. I'm done with consoles. This is my last generation buying any console. This has been the most disappointing gaming generation of my lifetime of playing games.
You youngings may think differently because you all don't know better. This is a dying moment for video games.
Super disappointed with this generation. I'm mad I spent so much money. This is why I'm not buying Sony VR.
I think the video game I industry is in trouble.
@Propaperpusher Erm. I mean you're entitled to your opinion, but not sure what it's got to do with this game?
