Re: Sony Nukes Thousands of Shovelware Games from PS5, PS4

themaladroit

Hey, Sony...good job, one scammer down, a bunch of others to go

I hate that i can't go to the Wishlist section of the PS Store without stumbling with a bunch of these low effort asset flip trash

Go after CGI Lab Games now and 404 Games. It's actually getting worse because that Bunny Rampage game that got released last week was available on pre-order and it was clearly one of these scam asset flips (game got less than 2 star rating) and I've seen a lot of people who thought the game was legit and got tricked. It's their fault? Obviously, but you're not making things easier

Re: Sony Removes Resident Evil Copy Ebola Village Trailer from YouTube

themaladroit

I just find funny how some people prefer to annoy other users with useless comments instead of adding anything useful to the overall conversation, or, i don't know, even saying something helpful to the issue me and others exposed about the store here (since Sony themselves apparently isn't doing anything). Some of you really like to waste other people's time with small quibbles or blame anyone but the company itself for a lack of quality control on their own system (even though said issue is been happening for years already)

Re: Sony Removes 'Temu Resident Evil' Ebola Village Trailer from YouTube

themaladroit

@naruball telling the person to let me say WHATEVER I WANT isn't ordering anyone around, it's me telling that i have the right to express my opinion. There's no irony here, unless you can't read proper context, and since i know the kinds of comments you make around here, this reply from you doesn't really surprise me. Since apparently you have nothing useful to say about the subject at hand, I'll just ignore you as well. Been wanting to do that for a while already, actually

Re: Sony Removes 'Temu Resident Evil' Ebola Village Trailer from YouTube

themaladroit

@Slayer25c I'm definitely blaming Sony because I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. I already stated before that multiple users also experience crash when browsing the store. I really don't care what you think of what i said, just don't tell me who to blame or not because I'm not ordering you around

There's literally a comment right below yours from another user experiencing the same thing and you all seem to ignore what i said about looking for posts about this issue on Reddit, X and etc
It's not an isolated case and it can definitely start happen to you because apparently the issue starts happening after updating the console's firmware (which was my case). So, yeah, don't think you're free of this issue just because it didn't happen to you yet. A lot of people seem to think their Dualsense will never drift, but eventually they do, sometimes years after they bought the controller. Every time you update your console you're at risk of experiencing the same issue

And again, I'm not gonna keep debating this with people that just outright ignore what i said about other cases, while telling me not to blame Sony, as if it's our fault that their digital store and OS is horrible. You'll be added to my ignore list as well. Bye!!

Re: Sony Roasted for Promoting 'Temu Resident Evil' Ebola Village for PS5, PS4

themaladroit

@dark_knightmare2 yeah, the other stores also have questionable games as well, but I'm talking about the store i use the most...? I don't even own a Nintendo Switch, i barely use my Xbox One or Steam, so of course I'll complain more about the PS Store, and everyone should complain about whatever platform they're using. Just because every store has this crap, that doesn't change the fact that this is quite ***** and i want a better digital store, so of course I'll complain about it. Having said that, i see way more of these scam garbages on PS Store than on Xbox Store or Steam, especially in the "add to your wishlist" section of the PS Store

And the store definitely crashes. I've seen a bunch of people on the Playstation subreddit complaining about the same thing when i started experiencing this, so just because you never experienced, that doesn't mean it's *****, if anything, this kind of logic is *****. You're not the only PS5 user in the world, but you're acting like you are. Do some research, dude. Reddit, X...there are reports about the CE-108262-9 code error on PS Store every now and then on these platforms

Not even gonna bother with your replies because apparently you act as if Playstation can do no wrong and you're dismissing other users reports because somehow you think the world revolves around you. I gave too much attention to you already, so to my ignore list you go

Re: Sony Roasted for Promoting 'Temu Resident Evil' Ebola Village for PS5, PS4

themaladroit

That's embarrassing...for us, the players, i mean, because Sony couldn't care less about what kind of ***** they allow on their store, as long as there are dumb people buying these garbages, they're OK

Just read some (dumb) users who actually bought that Bunny Rampage (which, of course is another asset flip trash thrown on PS Store for a quick buck, but this time with a higher price than the usual) and then they went to complain about it on Steam forums lol

As another user already said here, the PS Store is a mess. It crashes every now and then when I'm browsing games on sale, the wishlist is bugged (you can't see any of your games if you put too many on the list), the store is filled with trash scam, and some even copying famous games from Steam in hopes that someone gullible enough will actually buy it

Sony deserves all the roast possible and then some

Re: Xbox Sales Hit New Low in UK, Barely Competes with PS5 at This Point

themaladroit

@RPGamer1994 that's definitely not true. If anything most PC gamers bash and troll console gamers everywhere with their pathetic elitism because they think they're superior than anyone else. And why do you even care? What difference people criticizing PCs will make in your life? And you're not acting much different than these PC elitist fanboys here, so i don't even know why you're complaining about others when you're acting like a fanboy and i don't understand why you had to reply to me twice instead of writing everything in just one post. There's an edit button right here. I won't even continue to discuss this with you, you're clearly baiting and trolling people here, not worth my time. Welcome to my ignore list. Now, excuse me, I'll go back playing Risk of Rain 2 on MY PS5, because i actually play games instead of spending my time on the internet criticizing other people's hobbies

Re: PS6 Could Be Delayed Due to RAM Price Chaos

themaladroit

I just hope that Sony won't cut corners just to push out PS6 as quickly as possible, by reducing the amount of memory in the console, for example. We need at least 24gb of memory to last at the very least 6-7 years (32gb would be better). Anyway, I don't care if they delay the PS6, I'm totally fine with it, it's better this way, just keep subsidizing the console and build it in the best way possible and we're good (also, build a better controller with decent joysticks and a console that don't suck dust so much that forces us to open it every month to clean it)

Re: Ex-PlayStation Boss Believes Exclusives Make Consoles 'Sing'

themaladroit

Funny, this is the guy who kickstarted this whole PC port thing on Sony. Like i said before, the biggest issue with porting games to PC is that if you have a considerable amount of users moving from consoles towards PC (which isn't that hard) Sony will lose any revenue that they would normally get from 3rd party software sales made in their own platform. They'll still profit from 1st party games on PC, obviously (though less than they would on their own platform) but they won't see a cent from this former console owner and now PC user, instead, said money will go to Valve, Epic and etc and Sony needs this money because software sales are more important than hardware sales. Games like Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Call of Duty, Battlefield can make a huge difference when it comes to software sales that can boost Sony's profits, and the same goes for F2P games like Fortnite, Warzone, Roblox... because Sony earns a bit from every microtransaction from these games as well.

Obviously a few hundreds of users moving to PC won't make a difference, but we got to remember that the PC market isn't stagnating, it's actually growing and the more people realize that they can pretty much play every Playstation game and every Xbox game on PC nowadays, including online games for free (which can also affect Sony, since they profit from PS Plus subscriptions), the more they'll feel inclined to move towards PC. This is not something that will affect Sony now but it might bite them in the ass in a few years but they won't notice until it's too late. Hell, it's not that uncommon seeing people buying a PS5 to play 1st party games there and buying every other game on PC and this can become a big problem in the future, it'll all depend on how many people are willing to drop the console platform and just open up for the PC market

Sony is still lucky because now we're having this RAM situation, which will directly affect PCs prices, but they'll have to deal with this too in the near future. All i can say now is that Sony should be really careful about their strategy, unfortunately i think most of the heads of Playstation are clueless

Re: Vince Zampella, Call of Duty Co-Creator and Respawn Boss, Tragically Dies Aged 55

themaladroit

RIP Vince. I feel for his family, especially now that we're approaching Christmas and i also feel for the other person that was with him too

To this day i love both MW and MW2 games. I spent hours playing Titanfall 2 online and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor are one of my favorite games ever. It's really sad seeing someone so influential passing away like this and a lot of people seem to agree with me

However, this is the only place on the internet that I've seen people actually judging and criticizing a deceased person as if they're somehow better than everyone. I'm glad that Vince's family won't probably read this kind of senseless ***** here.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 612

themaladroit

@LikelySatan i think the best way is to play a lot of runs on Drizzle difficulty first (Easy Mode) but you can also search for some YouTube guides made by content creators who are experts in this game. Woolie is a good choice, i think, but you can just search for any videos on YouTube that are made for specific survivors. Try to look for guides that are specific to a survivor so you can learn how to use their kit properly. You can also use the game's wiki (.gg, not the "normal" wiki) for additional info on how to unlock items, alternative skills, how each item procs and whatnot. Don't feel intimidated because this game is huge and it's quite difficult, so don't feel discouraged, just keep trying!

One more thing: the Seekers of the Storm DLC had a very big update that changed pretty much every item that was initially released on that DLC, so be aware that any videos or guides made around the time of release of that DLC is pretty much irrelevant now. Just try to focus on the main items of the base game first or you'll be overwhelmed

@dgmgeneral07 you can find a very active community on Reddit but you can also visit their official Discord server, which has a very good number of people still talking about the game every day. I'm pretty sure you can find people there that are willing to play with you online!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 612

Ghost of Yotei - I'm just having a blast with this one. Way less repetitive than Tsushima, which was a very good game to begin with. This game has such a beautiful world and the combat is soooo much better than the first game

Risk of Rain 2 - I'm still trying to get most survivor skins from the new DLC while playing at Moonson difficulty, which isn't that easy

Halls of Torment and Let Them Come Onslaught: both are horde roguelite games and they're REALLY fun

Games that are on my plans:

I'm still thinking about Grounded, which i recently purchased but decided to leave it on the side so i can finish Yotei first

I want to get the Platinum trophy for RE4 Remake, RE 3 Remake, RE Village and i still want to play Chrono Cross and at least one classic Final Fantasy soon

There's so many games for me to play...

Damn it, i love videogames

Re: Ghost of Yotei Wins Big in PS Blog's Game of the Year Awards

themaladroit

PS Blogs having better results than Game Awards lol

Anyway, I'm playing Ghost of Yotei and yes, this game is really good and fun. I'm surprised at how it's more engaging than Tsushima, and i finished Tsushima just a couple of months ago. I thought i was gonna burnout with Yotei and yet I'm 20h in and having so much fun

The game feels more organic and less "checklist". I also thought the improvements they made in the combat are very good. Having multiple weapons instead of different stances made the game so much more dynamic. Too bad Kingdom Come didn't win anything

Re: Poll: How Would You Rate The Game Awards 2025?

themaladroit

Too long. I wasn't really impressed with most stuff but Control Resonant was a cool announcement. Also, E33 sweep the whole damn thing, which made me dislike the game a bit more, but I'm still inclined to go back and try the free stuff they released today

Re: When Is The Game Awards 2025?

themaladroit

The local timezone that you use here is so helpful. Geoff Keighley thinks the whole damn world lives in North America and i just hate converting timezones, especially now that we don't use daylight savings anymore

Re: Poll: How Would You Rate Cyberpunk 2077, 5 Years Later?

Got the game first on PC, back in April 2021, when i used to play a lot on PC. Bought the game again in 2022 for my Xbox One, back in March, i think. Got the game AGAIN last year, around March, on my PS5, with the DLC too. This was the first time i finished the game

I love the atmosphere of this game and playing it with Dualsense + 3D Audio is just an unforgettable experience. A solid 9/10 for me
