by Weird and wonderful RPG Dread Delusion is making its way to PS5 and PS4 this spring, publisher DreadXP and UK-based developer Lovely Hellplace have revealed.
This is a title that we've had our eye on since it arrived on PC back in 2024. It's a first-person, open world adventure inspired by the likes of The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, featuring an unsettling atmosphere and dark fantasy world.
Choices made during quests can shape that world as well — and you don't have to settle disputes with swords and magic if you'd rather talk your way out of trouble. It could tick all the boxes for those interested in an old-style RPG.

The game's been really well received up until now, by both critics and players, so we've got high hopes ahead of finally playing it for ourselves. We assume that a confirmed release date will be coming our way very soon.

Haven’t heard if this before… but now has my full attention
I remember that game, I'll definitely pick it up on PS5. I never thought I'd see it make the jump to console. At this rate I'll have no reason for PC, other than Kenshi and Dwarf Fortress.
Funny thing is if this was made by Bethesda people would dunk on it xD
@McBurn A studio as creatively bankrupt as the current Bethesda wouldn't come up with something like this in a million years.

I've played it on PC. It's a neat game
Unfortunately my cat decided he didn't like it and turned off my PC while it was saving and corrupted my data
If the graphics are anything like the trailer nah. I’ll stick to Morrowind. Seems like an ok game but yeah I’m branded Elder Scrolls lol.

I have been waiting for a Moreowind remake, but I eventually got this on Steam. I’ll try it out then if I want to play it on big screen, we’ll look into this console edition.

@McBurn The meatheads who think Skyrim is some deep role playing game might dunk on it. Smaller teams making more interesting games is nothing but good imo.
@McBurn No Bethesda is just quite lacking lately. Their sub par quality in releases doesnt help their case either. They could use someone who would fix their games modders do the heavy lifting.
@rjejr oh lord the voodoo graphics cards..wow now that's a blast from the past. I had a 3dfx voodoo 2 card in my first pc and quake 2 and unreal championship were just mind blowing. I might actually still have that pc in the darkest corner of the attic but I'm not going treasure hunting to find it.
