You'll Want to Play Crimson Desert on PS5 Pro for Dedicated Enhancements

I feel like this game will live or die based on how well it performs on console, 100% waiting on reviews for this one.

I’ll stick to the normal PS5 thanks, the Pro looks ugly, doesn’t even include a disc drive and costs an extra £100 for one.

This is a concerning message as it tells me they can't get it right on the console most people have.

If the game can't run as well as something like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, then I am passing.

I'd like to be clear this game has my attention, but I have limited time and I won't give it to a sub par product.

I was surprised how well Oblivion runs on the pro, no load time what so ever. Was watching a video for some tips and the loading they experienced would make the game unplayable for me, only cause the loading screen happens quite often, with instant loads no biggie. Can't wait

I would like to have a Pro, but I can't part with my PS1-themed Slim console. Silly, I know, but I'll wait for the PS6 since I'm fine with how my rig works.

This will be a technical mess on consoles.

The idea of them yet to even publish a single image or video of the game running on an actual console is already a red flag.

Their whole advertisement hype runs on the "insane detail, crazy tech" but all they ever do is show the PC high end rigs running it.

To me it feels like they are saying if you have a base ps5 performance will be terrible

Performance mode 60f fps on a base console is how I will play it, if possible. If not, well I guess i wont be playing it🤷‍♂️

Looking at some of the videos and the amount of things going on amount of enemies, particle effects galore , if not optimised properly, its going to be a slideshow on standard consoles, god knows what it'll look like on series s

Not getting excited over this one at all, yet.
I really hope I'm wrong, but I just fear that it's performance (particularly on base PS5) will not be even close to acceptable.

I will wait for reviews of the Pro version before I think about buying.

“We do have PS5 Pro enhancement.” is either grammatically incorrect and no big deal, or it literally means they have one enhancement. I’m not going to nitpick the grammar of someone who may not speak English well, but if there really is only one enhancement that sounds kind of lame. It better be something of consequence, like it’s 60fps on Pro vs 30 on the other consoles or else…blah

This game looks too demanding even for PC. To be honest i don't even want to think about this game until it's out, reviewed on consoles and guaranteed to be at least decent. And no, if i ever buy this game I'll play it on base PS5. When the PS6 is out I'll play the game again on it and that's it

I'm guessing that extended preview video was running on a beefy PC, so don't hold your breath that the base PS5 version won't look like smeared doo doo.
