These are the moments I'm glad i don't take reviews or other people's opinions into account to decide whether i will or will not buy/play any games. Can't wait to get my hands on this one!
It's been 3.5 years since PS5 was released and we're still having a bunch of PS4 games and now they're preparing to launch a PS5 Pro, even though most games out there are still PS4 cross green titles? And who said that Rockstar is planning on making GTA6 a 60fps game??? Hell, it was a miracle that they released a 60fps patch for RDR.
I'm not interested in a Pro, if anything it won't be a huge gap between both base and Pro consoles and probably by the end of this gen, the Pro will be struggling to run most games at 60fps, pretty much like it was with PS4 Pro. To me it's an useless upgrade and I'll be gladly skipping it, just like i did with the PS4 Pro. I'm better off with a PS6 with BC capabilities.
And i agree with other people here, this generation has been VERY underwhelming
Well, since so many PS5 games are being released on PC, and now Xbox games are being released on PS5 too, might as well release some of those Switch games on Playstation platforms, right?
I left PC because of the state of some really atrocious port efforts. In fact, they're getting worse and worse by the day. You either need a high end PC to brute force whatever issue you might have to run X game (and sometimes not even this is enough) or you need to be lucky and not have a garbage port delivered to you. For every Lies of P, there's a Jedi Survivor, Wild Hearts and Hogwarts Legacy coming at you together. I just don't have the patience anymore. PC players are treated like crap and this won't change that soon, if at all. The frustration of buying a game and watching it run with multiple stutters or framerate drops and then watching the same game running smoothly on a console that is definitely weaker than your rig is indescribable. I'm glad i jumped ship. From now on, PC is only for indies and simple AA games
Unoptimized mess, expensive af, unknown IP, UE5 (most games running in this engine are a framerate dip fest), boring plot...this game was doomed from the start and it's all their fault
I bought a PS5 last month, so yep... I'm part of the statistics, but not in Europe, since i live in Brazil. Having a great time with my PS5, just like i had with PS1-PS4
Even when the OG PS4 couldn't handle RE2 Remake, that game was running with unlocked framerate, this is quite common with most RE Engine games since last generation, so i don't see why it could be different in this case. I think this "source" is BS
@carlos82 it's playable, but it can't hit 60fps consistently, though it's no Wild Hearts levels of disaster. At least i don't have any issues with crashes, which a lot of people were experiencing a while back
@Olmaz how about performance? Does it run decently? I've seen Digital Foundry's video about this one and it looks like it runs pretty badly on all platforms. I own this game on PC and oh boy... framerate isn't that good there either.

Reading some comments here made me lose some brain cells.
Anyway, good for Rocksteady. Planning on buying this game after I'm done with FF7 stuff
