I had no idea that they were already shooting! Looks decent I suppose… for as much as one picture can establish. True to the game at least.

I’ve heard a lot of mention of how slow it is… which I assume is in relation to it being less action-centric but more tactical than say Destiny or… and I’m only mentioning this as I’ve heard so many people state it in comparison - Apex Legends (yes I know they’re totally different games but people are using it as a comparison for some reason). Hopefully it finds its audience, in much the same way as Hunt: Showdown and Escape from Tarkov has.

@UltimateOtaku91 and this is why I would never take an Xbot seriously… they bang their drum to whatever the company line is, even though it is often the binary-opposite to the rhythm they banged the previous day.

We’ll have 15 minutes of them telling us how important exclusives are now… and if/when Asha continues to publish games on PlayStation, they’ll be lecturing us on how anti-consumer Sony are again. Console wars have always been some funny side-content to the main course of gaming… but bots are a whole nutha level.

@Bundersvessel My pursuit for Chicken Dinner on Forza will be an interesting one no doubt. Halo: Campaign Evolved should be fine as there is no mp. Same for Fable in terms of there being no mp (I’d imagine) but you’d have to guess it will be a big time-sink anyway.

@mac_da_man @themightyant in all honesty I can’t claim much credit, other than the vast amounts of time invested. I was lucky to find a boosting group where we all helped each other out on the multiplayer stuff. Probably turned a couple of years worth of playtime into a couple of months tbh.

Finally finished the grind for 10k online kills for the Seriously trophy on Gears of War: Reloaded this week and after it has put me in quite the gaming funk this last month or so, I’m looking forward to getting into something new.

Thinking of starting one of my two scheduled souls-likes for the year… and maybe returning to Resident Evil: Revelations to play it through on Infernal for the last trophy remaining. Ahhhh… it feels good to be free of that Gears grind! 😊

I did mean to play at least one Metroidvania per year after enjoying the two that I’ve played… but for some reason I’ve never bothered trying another. I’ve only ever played Symphony of the Night and Guacamelee (both of which I really liked), how would it compare to those two in particular?

@MrPeanutbutterz to be fair to @Balaam_ most trophy hunters aren’t a fan of online trophies, I know I’m not. It doesn’t stop me playing a game though… it actually pushes it up the list of priorities a bit tbh, to get it out’ve the way while it’s active.

I know the new fighting system bit will annoy many but I’m all for it. They may as well of just remastered them if they were still gonna play the same. Think RE2 to RE2 Remake for context.

If their timelines align and these games release around the various seasons of the TV show… well, things could explode.

@Kierant202 didn’t say anything about objectivity. I’m just saying… and for arguments sake, reviewers would treat and score a 2 dollar indie game way differently to a £70 AAA game. While that 2 dollar game may score a 90 at that 2 dollar price tag and with a sole developer, I’d bet you it wouldn’t score the same if it cost £70 and was made by a team of 500. There are simply different metrics inherently applied… whether people want to believe it or not.

If you can’t see that… and I’m beginning to think that you can’t, we’ll just call it there.

@Kierant202 There’s a reason why no one compares… let’s say Pentiment with, ooh I dunno… Ghost of Yotei. They may both have similar meta scores (both have 86 as it goes) but that in no way tells the whole story… and if you’re being honest with yourself you’d agree with that.

Similarly, I’d never compare Avowed and Sons of Sparta… crazy comparison tbh.
