Been playing Borderlands 2 all week… and I’m pretty into it. I remember playing a fair bit of the first one solo, back on ps3 but never felt the pull to go back to the series. It’s been co-op with the sequel and I think it’s clicking for me. Wrapped up the main game and 1 & a half dlc’s, so looking to finish at least the second dlc this weekend.

I think that I’ll definitely go on to play 3 and 4… and might even go back to 1 again and maybe even The Pre-sequel and the two Tiny Tina games too.

Also, I ordered a ps5 pro last night… so hopefully that’ll be arriving sometime this weekend.

I just picked up another one myself… I’m gonna tear the RAM out of it and finally make my million! 🤑

Get ready for a zero outta 5 from eurogamer then… if they’re anywhere near consistent with their Arc Raiders review.

The only problem I have is a lower output, the sequels themselves are great… hell gimme Days Gone 2! 😄

@Elfuggingjefe fair, I on the other hand like looking forward to stuff… the chase has always been better than the catch as far as I’m concerned. We all see it differently but I don’t see it as fandom personally… just being excited about things that you will probably end up really enjoying. Fandom is more about things you’ve already enjoyed and continue to drone on about

@Elfuggingjefe yeah I have zero concerns, these guys hit it out the park every time… and Intergalactic looks far more my kinda thing than Uncharted or TLoU (all of which I love), so this is right up there with my most anticipated games rn.

Was never expecting it in 2026 tbh… the year will have enough going on with Wolvie, Saros and GTAVI. Just perfect the **** out of Intergalactic for the following year.

Just mopping up the final bits and bobs on Bully. Enjoyed my trip back to Bullworth (& PS2 gaming) more than I had any right to. One of the great ps2 era games imho… looking forward to playing a few more from that era this coming year

Thinking of installing Bully. I loved it back on the ps2 and while putting a decent amount if time into it, I don’t think that I ever actually finished it. Really hope that it’s aged like a fine wine 🤞

The worst of the three 3D Fallouts but I still enjoyed it. It just seemed really scaled back in terms of its systems as far as I can remember… and the settlement building didn’t fill the gap that was left.

Started Dirt 5 during the week, so will probably get a bit more of that done… and if schedules align some more of the forever-grind that is Resident Evil: Revelations 😩

Only really gotten into the Resident Evil series this year (I’m definitely the tortoise over the hare 😅) and just in time to watch what should be the first good film adaptation. After enjoying the hell out of Weapon a few months back, really looking forward to this!

We’ll never know this but i’d be really interested to know the revenue that their games will make on Xbox compared to the amount paid for any PlayStation exclusivity.

As I said at the last delay, I’m fine with it as I already have far too many games to manage… and I’m a massive GTA fan!

@Balaam_ well… that’s one way of looking at it, the other (from a similarly obsessed trophy hunter) is that is why they’re so preciously ultra rare. My GTAIV, GTAV and RDR2 plats are amongst my most coveted. 😉

I remember really enjoying Enter the Matrix back on ps2. I could go for a remaster of that actually… or even better a brand new current gen Matrix game… the ip is made for this ****!

@UltimateOtaku91 I don’t think that it’ll only play selected games, that would give the Switch 2 (already the fastest selling console ever) far too much power in the eye of the consumer. I think it’ll play everything, just at a reduced quality (pixel-count &/or frames… which is totally fine on a handheld screen).

@CaptD yeah that would’ve been cool. I did hear that fans were somehow able to get the Killzone 2 servers back up a year or two back… who knows, maybe they’ll be able to do the same for 3.

Alternatively, a project like remastering these or the Resistance trilogy would seem the perfect job for Bluepoint or Nixxies… but instead their sat on their hands or porting exclusively to PC 🤬

I actually bought the trilogy box set on PS3 the other day as it goes. Direct from Sony America, so it was still shrink-wrapped and everything. Still, I’d buy and play a ps5 remastered trilogy over my recent purchase if it was an option.

Gonna try and get a bit more done on Final Fantasy XIII-2. I’ve had three sessions with it these passed few weeks and finally feel like I have a bit of direction with it. Part way through episode 4 atm and I have next week off so… ideally I’ll either have popped the plat or be very close by this time next Saturday.

Hopefully a bit more raid mode on Resident Evil: Revelations too if schedules align. We’re now on to our third run-through on Abyss difficulty and while this road to the platinum is an unbelievable grind (honestly I can’t believe enough people have done it to take it out of the ultra rare category) it’s a good laugh.
